Found Moe's on Craigslist for an engine swap on my GMC Acadia. Moe responded quickly and was able to quote a fair price. Had Moe's tow my vehicle to his shop and shipped the engine directly to the shop. The mechanics got on the project right away and communicated well when a couple hiccups came up (motor month were trash!). Moe communicated along the way, both reaching out to me and responding to me. They got the motor swapped on time and up and running smooth. 500 miles later and it drives like new. Please do not go to Moe's Auto. He is not a reliable person. He runs over women. He say he can do the work. He will get your money from you or the insurance company and take your car somewhere else. I went to court with him on 9/11/2024. He was supposed to give me my money and he has not paid me yet. He has a tendency to mess over women run as fast as you can. He will avoid you. I went here because a shop told me i needed this and that for about $1000. Oh oh i had questions and touchy shop. I was told to leave. I use to work on all my autos. But because of health im not able to now. Used yelp and took a chance. It sure paid off. This shop right away took my truck in the shop. Drain and freon refill with dye. No leaks. Checked day and days later i couldnt see any leaks with neon green dye. I think the whole service was $72. Works great. Im very happy with service from this shop. read more

I had requested towing service as a roadside assistance via Allstate as my car had broken down. I was given an estimated time of 60-75 mins (which is okay) but while waiting, I tried to reach Moe's office, and they didn't pick up. I left a voicemail and didn't get a response. I wanted to know how many people will be able to get a ride in their truck and if they will help with jumpstart. Right when they were supposed to arrive, I got a very important call and my phone was busy when the driver was trying to reach me. They called me ONCE from a private number and supposedly left while I was standing outside my car- waiting. I call Moe's office again and this time they pick up in 1 sec to tell me that the driver had cancelled and I have to go through Allstate again. Eventually I ended up waiting for like 4 hours. Extremely unresponsive and careless service. Please the drive being unreachable is not helpful at all. If your insurance recommends Moe's towing- DON'T GO WITH IT. read more

After waiting hours and hours the night before on two different towing companies...I was SO relieved to find Moe!! He was incredibly fast, professional, considerate and very well priced. I came into Moe's because I foolishly used an A/C in a can with a broken gauge. I overfilled the system and my A/C appeared to be in dire straits. Took my 2006 Subaru Forester in fearing the worst. His friendly staff drained and re-filled the system to the correct specs and now the A/C has never been better. Needless to say, I drove away a happy customer. Took my 2014 Subaru Forester in for an AC recharge because it wasn't blowing cold air. Moe tried to recharge the system, but said the compressor was bad. I wasn't surprised based on a google search of that year and model. Moe helped me get a salvaged compressor and installed it for $150. Wow, a lot cheaper than Subaru. They wanted $150 just to tell me what was wrong. My AC is working great. Great experience. read more

I am very dissatisfied with the service I received at this shop. Initially I had a few options of shop to go to to get my car a/c fixed but I picked this one because it was a couple of dollars cheaper than the others. BIG MISTAKE. When I first came to the shop, they took my keys but did not start on it right away. I was waiting for awhile before realizing that they were just standing around and not doing anything. The mechanic saw me looking at my car and asking the front desk. He came in and apologized and said there was an issue near by that need to be resolved...which was fine because at that time he seems nice and I still had some time left to spare and was looking forward to leaving with a/c in my car. I am a single mother with a 2 year old so a little wait to get me and my son out of the heat was worth it. (Keep in mind, it was also warming up...I came around 11 or 11:30am) After this, I started looking around the office and starting conversation with the receptionist to see what other service they have because if they were so cheap. I am going to come back and refer them to others. She clearly did not know her answers ...her answer was "basic auto repair" she was nice so I ignored it. Then I came across a sign that said something about "You PAY whether you leave with or without A/C" What!?!! I immediately asked the girl what that is about and made sure they haven't start on my car yet so that I am not paying money for nothing. She went and grab the mechanic and said he will be in to talk to me. Said he haven't start on it yet. My question is "why didn't they just be upfront about this instead of standing around and sitting around not telling a person this?" Anyway, I told him that I did not want to have my car worked on because I don't know what is wrong with it and want to bring it to another shop that will work on it and pump air into it regards of a leak or not. He immediately stopped me and said to his partner that he never heard of such a thing and that he was not out to rip me off and told me to go on yelp to read his reviews. Yeah, I read a few of the reviews. I saw some bad ones and good ones too. And thought he was a legitimately nice guy but I was wrong again. Anyway, long story short. I tried to leave and told him that I had another shop that will do the work for a little more but that's fine as long as I have air conditioning for my baby. That's when he told me he will pump air in there and do a diagnostic/read with the machine he hooked up on my car. And he agreed to pump air in there even if there is a leak. After awhile, he called me over and said there was no leak. Told me that the problem could be the blower motor because it wasn't blowing out air. Blamed me for not letting him know that there was no air coming out...and that he will charged me $50. $50 for what! I asked him. He said he pumped air into it. I questioned him why air was pumped if I didn't need air in the first place since he told me that it was the blower motor. He told me he will get the parts from Autozone for $69 and will charge $85 for labor. This is after I told him how much the other shop will charge me. I asked him if he did a diagnostic on it and he told me he did not. Then what am I paying for? Anyway, the point is...he did not try to help me and charged me $50 for doing absolutely nothing on my car. Pretended like he knew what he was talking about but in actuality is not a professional... I paid the man and when I left called to schedule to have it done anyway because I was desperate. The weirdo had the nerve to tell me that he will not work on the car because I was unappreciative. Hanged up on him.. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I wasted $50 for no reason, basically got ripped off so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I went around noon to try to get my ac recharge, then he told me it would take about an hour because he had a few customers before me, I then ask to set an appointment to come back at 3, Kid you not I get here and he isn't even here. He was called and told he would get here within 20 minutes, the point was I made an appointment and for him to not be here, is so ridiculous. 20 minutes pass and still no MOE? I told them that it's been past 20 minutes, then she calls MOE again, then he said another 10 minutes with a $10 discount. Are you kidding me?!?!? The office is ridiculously hot! I relied on reviews from a couple sources regarding getting my car's AC recharged. This place is extremely honest and reasonable, and they were able to do it within an hour. One third the cost of what the dealer wanted. AC is fine. I went through a sandstorm (looked like a hurricane) and the condenser took a beating, but still very functional. Later I may get that replaced for about 1/4th what I was quoted from the dealer. Hole in the wall place off of Power Inn Road just south of Fruitridge (best to enter the back way, but call them for directions). Everyone I met there getting their car done was there because of reviews they read (average was 4.6). So glad I went there. read more

I was literally 2 miles from this towing place and they said it was going to take 30 minutes. I only needed to go an extra 5 miles to get home. Since they charge by the hour it was ridiculous! I don't recommend this place. I asked him why is he going to take 30 minutes since he is only 2 miles away.
