But I played it smart and asked my parents to come with me, there are more than happy to do so. I met the doctor and I'm scared to death of dentist I'll fight a dragon and run from a dentist. He put me at ease did what he had to and I'm walking into the reception area, I saw my parents waiting for me and I said you see I didn't need you at all and the next thing I was waking back up in recovery. Then I saw Dr. Kumar officially after getting my x-rays done and he was very kind and attentive as well. He pointed out issues that were going on with my teeth that I should keep an eye and took a look at my TMJ issues that I have been suffering with. He referred me to a specialist and just that alone made me feel like someone actually cared enough to get everything situated. I've been trying to get my TMJ issue resolved for several years now and finally I have a dentist who cares. Definitely take the trip up and schedule your appointment here if you have not and see for yourself how lovely this place is.

We gave Stephanie all our information and she told us that Aspen Dental did not take our insurance, but they had a $29.99 special and that they would work with us. I was iffy about it, but he really need to see a dentist. We were getting ready to leave for our 1pm appointment and we received a call around 12:15, from "Margarita" that she was cancelling our appointment because the doctor already left. I cracked a tooth so I made an appointment and was told I required a crown for $2,500 (no…read moreinsurance). I wanted the tooth pulled and the dentist refused. I purchased AARP's Dental Dental insurance, top plan, and the crown was designed and installed, no issues. I paid a deposit upon design and the balance upon installation. A few weeks later I received a bill for an additional charge for a deductible. I called, stating I paid the balance and should not incur further charges to which they replied "we'll send you to collection". I was upset no doubt and continued to make my case each time receiving the threatening collection response. I spoke with the office manager who stated she would write it off and that I was "not the best fit for their office", effectively denying future service because I "abused" staff. I requested her decision in writing; nothing as of this post. I filed a grievance with Delta Dental and am awaiting a decision BUT I found out I OVERPAID for the procedure. I contacted the office manager who maintained the same attitude even after being told the situation was their fault for overcharging me. Be forewarned! Stay FAR FAR AWAY! With all the technology these days and plus what it says on his website, I thought I'd have a nice consultation discussing the options i have to fix my mouth, but that was far from what happened. He said i was too far gone and there was nothing he could do! I only went there because he took my insurance and on his website it says he does dentures, implants etc., but he didn't discuss any options with me! I'll stay with my dentist and just have to travel farther
