    Yummy Cobb salad

Great lunch here just before it go super busy on a summer weekday. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and arrived hot for the burger and chilled for the salad. It's clean, organized and easy to move around. I recommend lunch here--the porch was pleasant seating.

Wherever you go on Block Island, expect high prices. With high prices I expect great food. Mohegan restaurant delivers in that regard. With stunning views of the ocean, it is hard not to want to eat here if you plan on visiting Block Island for the day. It is situated right near the ferry terminal of the island, making it an easy lunch spot for those who cannot make the trip to local favorites like The Oar and Deadeye Dick's. If you can get to either of those two spots, go for it. I only hear good things about them. This one is just as good. My Mahi tacos were plentiful, but light and full of flavor. They are a great way to take the edge off before your meal arrives. I also got the fish and chips and it is delicious as well, as is generous. The fish served is haddock, which is a great call. A flaky fish that serves up the goods. I hate it when restaurants give you tilapia. That is an easy cheat and does not provide the consistency a cod, flounder, or halibut would provide. Even salmon is okay. Gasp! Be prepared for a bit of a wait though if you have a large party. Service is also a little slow as they do not have many people working there. However, on the strength of their location and food, I will forgive them.

I had an enjoyable dinner here! To start I would like to mention that there were no vegetarian entrees which I would've liked so I went for an appetizer main instead. We began with the Caprese stack which we ate down to the soupçons (crumbs). Delicious. For my main I got the fig goat cheese flatbread and found it enjoyable. My partner Clem ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it was quite tasty but but but.... The portion was far too large for any mortal. Good thing Clem isn't a human. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to finish it. Another member of our party, Clem's mother, received the wrong dish and her fish was overcooked. She politely sent it back and got the proper dish back. They said they would take the wrong dish off the bill but, we didn't order the wrong dish so shouldn't the correct dish have been comped? Regardless the correct salmon entree was enjoyed so thoroughly that Clem's mother had little grievances. Also the manager brought out a complimentary tiramisu for the mistake which made up for it and more because it was soooooooo gooooooooood. Soooo gooooood. Mmhmmmmmmm But yes, more vegetarian options please

Mohegan Restaurant & Bar is located across the street from the Block Island ferry in Old Harbor. There is plenty of inside and outside seating. The hostess offered us outside seating, but we opted in for inside seating. The restaurant was packed with groups of people. We started with stoli blueberry mojito and a mudslide. Both drinks were very refreshing. We ordered the oysters rockefeller for an appetizer, but it came after our entrees. The server apologized for the delay. The oysters rockefeller was a little different compared to the oysters rockefeller we've had in New Orleans. It was less breading and more oyster flavor. We had the cold lobster roll and coconut shrimp for entrees. Both came with fries. The cold lobster roll was market price and that was $32.95. It was really good. The bun was toasted and there was a good amount of lobster and celery. There is a 3.5% surcharge for credit cards. The servers were very busy serving a few tables, but they were providing great service. The tables were cleaned and turned around quickly.

    Burger and calamari

Overall very good- nice homey/rustic ocean vibes with good service. Both indoor/ outdoor seating with pretty good food. We went for lunch with a couple of friends and enjoyed various entrees from calamari to burgers to chicken wraps and salads. Overall nothing crazy but good quality food- calamari was a special that day and nicely fresh. Overall Defs recommend

This is a great restaurant located in Old Harbor across from the ferry landing. They have a decent food and drink menu. I got the goat cheese fig flatbread, and my husband got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. We've been here multiple times and find that the service at the bar is far superior to service in the dining room. Our bartender is a local who serves as an EMT in BI. She was personable and took great care of us!

    Buffalo Wings

We visited Mohegan Restaurant and Bar about 1.5 hour before getting on our ferry. Our server was really awesome about asking when we needed to be on the dock and getting our food put in ASAP. We weren't too hungry so we ordered two things to share and the server didn't make us feel weird about that in any way. The Buffalo wings were really good and crispy and the portion size was generous. The chicken and pesto pasta was also fantastic, and we were shocked by how much food we got. The strawberry gin and tonics were also really good with some really yummy strawberry jam for the fruit flavor. The seating is really cute with a view of the street and beach.

Let me start off by saying that Mohegan Restaurant and Bar has the best Mudslide I have. It was a hot day and I was looking all over the island for a good frozen mudslide. I've been to a few places but none have been really good. Until I came here. This Mudslide was thick, full of flavor, the perfect amount of bailey's and creamyness. It was perfect in every way possible. I recommend this Mudslide to try over everywhere else on Block island. The nachos are a great appetizer to share. I wish it was bigger but it hit the spot.

    Eggplant tower. Delicious!

What a great place. Great beach vibe. The food was really good. Did not take long to get a table and got a great view of the harbor and the street. Our waitress was very attentive and so nice. The lobster roll was filled with chunks of meat including claws, the eggplant tower was delicious. Definitely worth going here. Wish I took a pic of the lobster roll but it got eaten before I had the chance...

    Caesar salad
    Sydney Y.

Great spot to eat and walking distance from the ferry. We ate here for lunch and food was good, nothing crazy but no complaints. I wish the Caesar dressing was more flavorful and the batter on the fish wasn't as heavy if I'm being picky! Great location and good views and vibes.

The food was really satisfying! They have a little bit of everything, from american food to asian style ribs. The ambiance is nice and casual, although it can get loud during busy hours. The service was how most places are, nothing that made it stand out from the rest. Overall it was a nice stop and a great place right off the ferry!

Lobster roll for $33. Mostly lettuce in the roll.

I appreciate that their food is "farm to table" fresh, but the portion sizes should match the prices. Our table of ten spent an average of $320 per couple, and three of the couples had split their dinners. We did order appetizers and drinks as well. I explained my food allergies to the waitress. She relayed the info to the kitchen and did her best to accommodate me. I ordered a small charcuterie without blue cheese. It came with Prosciutto, manchego cheese wedges, pitted olives, red grapes, a few crostini, and a drop of honey. For my entree, I ordered a filet mignon. It came with dollops of instant-like mashed potatoes and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. My friend ordered a filet as well but his was cooked more than the temp he ordered. Instead of medium, it came out well done... charred on the outside, no pink, and dry. Mine, on the other hand, was cooked perfectly even though mine was medium as well. Would I come back? Only for a special occasion perhaps. ‍
