[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the atmosphere and service here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Servers are super attentive and anticipate needs (glass of water, extra napkins, a second beverage, time between salad/soup and main course). Drinks are meh....but the entrees WOW!! And the amount of food -way more than I could eat! I had the udon noodle salad it was huge!! I should have stopped there because it was delicious and filling! The Fra Diavolo called out to me though and I'm so glad it did. By far the best seafood Fra Diavolo I've ever had! The spice, the sauce, the amount of seafood!!! Everything was so fresh, tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. My hubby had the swordfish, he said it was much better than the two other places he had swordfish at while on Block Island. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cozy and romantic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is one of our very favorite restaurants.

The Mohegan was one of our best experience as far as restaurant service hospitality since we've been here. The hostess was very welcoming. Our waitress was Skylar is what I consider excellence in customer service and hospitality. You know when someone loves what they do for a living. If your ever in the area stop by the Moheiand ask for Skylar, trust me she's great.

Gigantic piece of fish. Cooked perfectly. Flaky, crispy, and delicious! Everything in this picture was amazing.

Ok, so this was the BEST fish and chips I have ever had and one of the best meals of my life. It is rare to have every item of food, drink, and service be a 10 out of 10. Let's start with the fish. This piece was HUGE! Battered perfectly and crispy. The fish was melt in your mouth perfect. The tarter sauce, fries, and the soda were all top notch. Did I say soda? Yes, and everywhere except McDonalds blows it on the soda usually. You usually get a flat, tasteless soda. This was crisp and they remembered the lime I requested. My server, Casey, was fantastic. Easy in, easy out perfect service. All in all, my dining experience here was FANTASTIC and I will be back here the next time I am on Block Island. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean and modern, but very approachable for the average person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices were fair and my only advice is to order the fish and chips.

Service was quick, efficient, and pleasant. 7 people, got a table at lunch time on a Saturday with no wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No kid menu available but they gave them a crayon and paper.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was a bit of a mess but it was used quite a bit, almost always a line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only complaint is price. 3 meals, one drink and $150. Lobster roll was lobster piled on top of a mix between celery, lettuce, and mayo- hardly any lobster. Food was tasty except the burger was definitely not great.

Great lunch here just before it go super busy on a summer weekday. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and arrived hot for the burger and chilled for the salad. It's clean, organized and easy to move around. I recommend lunch here--the porch was pleasant seating.

Wherever you go on Block Island, expect high prices. With high prices I expect great food. Mohegan restaurant delivers in that regard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With stunning views of the ocean, it is hard not to want to eat here if you plan on visiting Block Island for the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is situated right near the ferry terminal of the island, making it an easy lunch spot for those who cannot make the trip to local favorites like The Oar and Deadeye Dick's. If you can get to either of those two spots, go for it. I only hear good things about them. This one is just as good. My Mahi tacos were plentiful, but light and full of flavor. They are a great way to take the edge off before your meal arrives. I also got the fish and chips and it is delicious as well, as is generous. The fish served is haddock, which is a great call. A flaky fish that serves up the goods. I hate it when restaurants give you tilapia. That is an easy cheat and does not provide the consistency a cod, flounder, or halibut would provide. Even salmon is okay. Gasp! Be prepared for a bit of a wait though if you have a large party. Service is also a little slow as they do not have many people working there. However, on the strength of their location and food, I will forgive them.

Mohegan Restaurant & Bar is located across the street from the Block Island ferry in Old Harbor. There is plenty of inside and outside seating. The hostess offered us outside seating, but we opted in for inside seating. The restaurant was packed with groups of people. We started with stoli blueberry mojito and a mudslide. Both drinks were very refreshing. We ordered the oysters rockefeller for an appetizer, but it came after our entrees. The server apologized for the delay. The oysters rockefeller was a little different compared to the oysters rockefeller we've had in New Orleans. It was less breading and more oyster flavor. We had the cold lobster roll and coconut shrimp for entrees. Both came with fries. The cold lobster roll was market price and that was $32.95. It was really good. The bun was toasted and there was a good amount of lobster and celery. There is a 3.5% surcharge for credit cards. The servers were very busy serving a few tables, but they were providing great service. The tables were cleaned and turned around quickly.

I had an enjoyable dinner here! To start I would like to mention that there were no vegetarian entrees which I would've liked so I went for an appetizer main instead. We began with the Caprese stack which we ate down to the soupçons (crumbs). Delicious. For my main I got the fig goat cheese flatbread and found it enjoyable. My partner Clem ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it was quite tasty but but but.... The portion was far too large for any mortal. Good thing Clem isn't a human. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to finish it. Another member of our party, Clem's mother, received the wrong dish and her fish was overcooked. She politely sent it back and got the proper dish back. They said they would take the wrong dish off the bill but, we didn't order the wrong dish so shouldn't the correct dish have been comped? Regardless the correct salmon entree was enjoyed so thoroughly that Clem's mother had little grievances. Also the manager brought out a complimentary tiramisu for the mistake which made up for it and more because it was soooooooo gooooooooood. Soooo gooooood. Mmhmmmmmmm But yes, more vegetarian options please

Overall very good- nice homey/rustic ocean vibes with good service. Both indoor/ outdoor seating with pretty good food. We went for lunch with a couple of friends and enjoyed various entrees from calamari to burgers to chicken wraps and salads. Overall nothing crazy but good quality food- calamari was a special that day and nicely fresh. Overall Defs recommend

This is a great restaurant located in Old Harbor across from the ferry landing. They have a decent food and drink menu. I got the goat cheese fig flatbread, and my husband got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. We've been here multiple times and find that the service at the bar is far superior to service in the dining room. Our bartender is a local who serves as an EMT in BI. She was personable and took great care of us!

We made reservations for 5:30 pm, arrived a little early, and they seated us right away. We started with cocktails, and complimentary bread arrived shortly after. For appetizers, we ordered the brussel sprouts, octopus, and lamb lollipops. The brussel sprouts were my personal favorite, but everything was outstanding. For our entrées, we had the halibut, scallops, and bouillabaisse. The halibut was absolutely incredible and my favorite, though every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. We finished with the key lime tart. It's on the smaller side, so if you're sharing with more than two people, I'd recommend ordering a couple of different desserts. We sat in the enclosed patio style dining room, which had large windows, gorgeous views, and lots of natural light. It felt like you were dining outside while still being indoors. They also have a more intimate indoor dining room with low lighting and a cozy ambiance. One of the coolest features is the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs prepare food. Our waiter was fantastic! He was attentive, took the time to answer all of our questions, and even helped us narrow down our dinner choices when we couldn't decide. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on Block Island. Highly recommend!

They work in front of basically half the tables and always keep their cool. With as busy as they are, they don't have an enormous menu and I feel that it's better that way. I'm not sure how often they change the menu as the online page showed slightly different meals. The wait staff are plentiful and it's rather amazing how well they keep up. The way my family and I were treated upon arrival was extremely disappointing. The male host was unnecessarily disrespectful and unwelcoming from the moment we walked in, despite us being polite and having every intention of dining there. After getting a reservation online and returning, the female host/manager was also a little rude and dismissive toward us at first. That only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere we felt. Even the bartenders didn't acknowledge us. Staff would catch eye contact with us and just keep going. Thankfully, the experience improved once we were seated. Our waiter (Cam) was genuinely kind, professional, and attentive throughout the meal, and the food itself was excellent. The chefs clearly know what they're doing, because every dish was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing. It's unfortunate that such strong food and service from the waitstaff are overshadowed by the poor attitude at the front of the restaurant. A little basic respect and hospitality toward guests would make a huge difference. Growing up in the hospitality service (restaurant) then working in retail to aviation. We're all taught from the beginning. A person walks in, greet them with a smile and let them know you'll be with them shortly. Not ignore them then to be slightly rude. We all understand being busy. But don't take it out on the customers. Especially when they didn't cause your stress. I'm giving them a high score because Cam and the chefs were amazing. Even the chefs said goodnight to us and thanked us.
