I would come back here to stay in a minute. The skies in this area are beautiful and huge. The horizons are clear, with very few trees to obstruct the view. Every single night we had amazing skies, whether on account of storms you could see building for miles away, or clear skies that were so very dark and starry. This area is pretty remote; there is not much in the way of towns unless you want to drive about 40 miles, and no light domes to disturb the viewing near the horizon. Note: there is no Wi-Fi here and cell phone connections may be problematic as well; one of our party has AT&T and had a very spotty connection, another of us had Verizon, and had good service there. I have T-Mobile and no service at all while at the ranch. Just something to be aware of. The facilities here are top notch. The kitchen is well-stocked with the amenities, but you should plan to bring your own food. This is a working ranch. Therefore, you can help the family with ranch duties, or you can horse back ride, or any number of other activities, such as fishing in the pond behind the lodge. Our hosts, Bobbie and Scott, were very cordial and attentive. They were perfect. I want them to get business because this place is so wonderful. As I said, I would come back here in a minute. I will have lots of fun memories of this place long into the future.

My mother in law booked a hayrack ride in early October and it was a very memorable experience…read more While we're still in a pandemic, a dozen of us hopped onto a true hayrack, unlike any I've been on before, it's a flat bed, with a literal pile of hay onit. Pro tip- Bring a blanket. The ride is 1 full hour going up the trails that horses ride. The color of the trees is stunning, I haven't been to vermont but I've seen enough romance movies to know what it looks like, and this is it. When we got to the top of the tallest hill we pulled off to Look Out Point and had 10 minutes to take photos, EPIC photos, you may seem them on my christmas card this year. After the ride was over the staff has set up our campfire and got it going for us. It was a 5 star experience start to finish, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and helpful. I hope to make this a yearly tradition.

Overall it was good but maybe not worth getting again- I would want to try something else next time. My boyfriend got the black garlic honey salmon which looks super good and I wanna try it next time. The pork tenderloin also looked incredible. The vibes were very particular because the restaurant is in a country club. And handed off to our server Hannah Hannah was nice and we both started by ordering a drink each. I got a limoncello spritz and hubby got a beer. We were seated near the fireplace unfortunaely itbwas so cold out the fire didnt really warm us. Drinks took awhile to come possibly because they wefe catering to a couple of holjday parties Then i got me sesame crusted ahi tuna with extra broccolini. And hubby got his new york strip with asparagus and mashed potato. Dinner was superbly done. His steak was medium rare like he requested. You get to be up close for 30 minutes then we sat and drank some wine while watching the alpacas graze! Sheri and her mom were the sweetest and made sure to talk to guests and teach guests about the alpacas and their land! It was just a fabulous event and we will definitely be back! Recommend bringing lawn chairs to sit on as the grass can get buggy!

The alpacas come out and graze while you get to enjoy some bevvies. They had probably at least 25 alpacas and we were lucky enough to meet five new borns. I'm not sure anyone had an amazing bite but the menu was large so there is still potential! I will say the one thing that stood out the most to me was the flavor. If the menu item said chipotle, Parmesan, honey, etc then that flavor was there and you could not get away from it! I had Parmesan in my potatoes and salad and it was overpowering. And my friend got the chipotle potatoes au gratin and said he could barely get the potato flavor. We all had the three course meal and most of us got the steak. We all ordered at different temperatures including medium well and they all came out rare or just uneven. It was good flavor and it wasn't too chewy so we all just ate it with no complaints! Along with the three course meal was a mini dessert so we all tried each and they all fell flat. We did get them to-go so maybe that had something to do with it but even a simple brownie wasn't anything great. Overall I want to chalk it up to wrong ordering and hope to come back and try other menu items and some suggestions!
