What attracted me to Ashley was her professional demeanor, professional approach to her business, timely response, experience dressing professional women (esp. middle aged women) and warm but no-nonsense efficiency. After completing a survey form and creating a Pinterest board of my favorite looks, she came to my house prepared for the Closet Sort. Closet Sort opened my eyes because Ashley explained WHY some of my items worked and others did not. She opened my eyes to consider not just color, but also cut and silhouette, texture and weight, and proportions when putting together a wardrobe. I learned that shoes are part of an outfit! Ashley provided specific tips for petite dressing too. Shopping Day at the Galleria was a dream come true. We visited five shops and I found dozens of items, in my size and colors, magically waiting for me in the dressing room! I completed all the purchases to change my life in just 3 hours. Style Day was when Ashley put it all together and gave me dozens of outfit options using foundational pieces and accessories. She took pictures of each outfit that I can access through an app on my phone. She also taught me how to style with my jewelry and clothes, and how to take care of my clothes. I had a unique, personalized stylist experience that cannot be replicated by following YouTube style tips or Instagram hacks. Before I felt that I had nothing to wear, and now, I don't have enough days to try all the different clothing combinations that I want to show off. There's plenty of check out options although I always go through self-check out and fortunately there's never a line when I'm there. Not sure why people always want to have a person scan items for them. But I suppose they need that human interaction. The only downside (and it's a major downside) is the dreaded parking situation. You will spend a good 10 minutes trying to find parking. And if you're coming on a weekend or day before a major holiday/event, expect to add another 10 minutes on top the 10 originally. I used to live near this one when I was in Energy Coridor but I go to the HEB off Shepherd due to proximity of where I live now. But if I'm ever off I-10 and I need something, I make a point to stop here. And every time I step in, I'm reminded of what a real HEB should be!

When I pointed out the mistake, I was told that I wanted to pay for that item separately, which was incorrect. I had handed over certain items that I did not want, but organic sweet potatoes were not among them. I purchased russet potatoes, not organic sweet potatoes. Customers should be able to trust that their purchases are scanned accurately and that concerns are listened to and addressed professionally. I hope management reviews this issue and provides additional training to prevent similar mistakes in the future!!

I called ParkWest and they offered 1) to have me send the painting back to be reframed, or 2) take it to a local framer and they would send them a replacement liner. I opted for option #2 and took it to Bradley's, the only framer I would consider for this special work of art. Lauren inspected the defect and determined that the speck could be easily removed without having to replace it. Out came her razor as she delicately flicked at the spot and removed it without any damage to the lining. No charge. Not only does Bradley's do excellent framing work but they are very, very kind.

There were other arrangements priced lower ($60-$90) but I chose an arrangement over $100 because it was for a dear friend's 30th anniversary event that I couldn't attend. She loved it so in the end that's what mattered most to me. Because the staff was so nice, I chose MAYBE I would recommend them. My only hesitation is that I like to get value for my spend, so I am not sure I will choose this florist again unless I was 100% certain about the size of the arrangement.
