Oh my goodness! My favorite niece's birthday is tomorrow and I'm not able to be there with her, so I took a chance and sent flowers from The Cutting Garden. I told them I wanted to spend no more than $200 with delivery included. I took a chance and let them choose the arrangement - my only requirement was that there be one yellow rose placed in it - a tradition we do for each other in honor of my deceased mama. My niece just sent me some photos of the arrangement, and I am bowled over. It's absolutely breathtaking. Better than I could have envisioned. So incredibly amazing, I had to Yelp it immediately. This is now my official go-to florist for Houston. I am in shock at the beautiful result of my order! LOVE THIS PLACE!

I needed same-day delivery to a loved one in the hospital. I called The Cutting Garden at 11:20 AM on a Saturday (they close at noon) half-expecting to be turned away. I was pleasantly greeted by David, who not only said same-day delivery was possible, but also conducted my entire order over the phone with me. He was honest in saying that his inventory wasn't as vast as it would be on Monday mornings, but he worked with me in identifying my recipient, my preferences, and what we could custom-create based on what I liked on the website & his inventory. We picked the Jade, and I trusted him to create a variation of it. He ensured it would be delivered before 2 PM the same day. The bouquet was hand-delivered in less than 2 hours, and he even texted me a photo of the bouquet to confirm the delivery just as I had asked. I love supporting local florists & my experience with David was as streamline, efficient, and pleasant as it gets. He is professional and courteous, and went out of his way to make sure all parties were happy. Would definitely recommend him if you're in the Cypress area.

Once again, the Cutting Garden exceeded all my expectations. Mother's Day flowers were beautiful. Just amazing. The customer service is wonderful as well. Seriously, if you're looking for a florist in Houston, you can't go wrong with them. I accidentally set the delivery address as my address and not my mom's and they quickly resolved it. The flower arrangement was beautiful and quite elegant but somewhat small for the amount paid. The staff were great to work with and they helped me when I realized that the address for delivery had been pulled from my payment method and that the voice to text I used resulted in a misspelling. There were other arrangements priced lower ($60-$90) but I chose an arrangement over $100 because it was for a dear friend's 30th anniversary event that I couldn't attend. She loved it so in the end that's what mattered most to me. Because the staff was so nice, I chose MAYBE I would recommend them. My only hesitation is that I like to get value for my spend, so I am not sure I will choose this florist again unless I was 100% certain about the size of the arrangement. read more

Expect to drop a bit of cash on this, there's a $20 delivery fee on top of the expenses for the flowers. They do same day and next day delivery which is super convenient though! read more

I used to be a floral designer, so when I want to send flowers to loved-ones far away (I live in California), it is always frustrating to roll the dice on an arrangement I'm likely to look down my nose at (yep---I'm a terrible person--- flowers are very important to me, don't judge). That said, my experience ordering from The Cutting Garden was outstanding. Not only were the flowers absolutely lovely, but the simplicity and clarity of communication from David was a rare and much-appreciated thing. Rather than picking a design on the website, I picked a price point and gave them some rough guidance on what I wanted (something more people should do; being flexible usually gets you fresher, nicer flowers). It was clear from the resulting arrangement that they had read and considered my requests, which happens less often in this industry than you'd expect. Delivery was seamless, and they even emailed me the exact time it happened. Thank you so much! I'll never use another designer in the Houston area! read more

I ordered from here last week based off of Yelp reviews. A friend of mine had a pretty grand business accomplishment and I decided at 4 pm that afternoon that I wanted to send her flowers the following day. Ordering online was a breeze, the delivery was made the next day around 1 pm, and best of all - the flowers were gorgeous. I ordered the "Maria" at $65 (around the bottom of the range with a globe vase) and delivery is $20, so it ran me about $90 total, after tax. Not super cheap but worth it. The little roses were more pink than fuchsia, but who the hell cares - it was still beautiful. Photos attached to compare online photo and delivered product. Highly recommend. Reliable, fast, and superior product. read more

The staff are super friendly and welcoming, shout-out to Bryan (the general manager?) and the official judge for the event. Plus I had a great conversation with him and Michael(?) about MTG; they're definitely very passionate about board & card games. They have anti-scalping policies in place for Pokemon. As for the space itself, decent amount of parking (more in the back). They're very popular for Warhammer, so there's a ton of product for those who play, and several tables set-up with many people playing all afternoon next to us (the 'playing hall' is pretty large!). They also have an aisle with board games for sale, and a counter with TCG products. Restrooms are spacious and clean. All in all, The Forge is pretty much all you can ask for in a LGS; they're also independently owned! I wish I live closer, but I'll definitely be here again soon!

His was the first time I ordered flowers from The Cutting Garden for our STEPS graduation. The floral design of the two ornamental flower stands were just extraordinary beautiful. I may have paid a bit more than usual, but it was worth every penny. Besides the owner and staff are delightful as well. You give them an idea and they will develop from there on. What comes out is magic -- while I waited for a customer to be served, I had the opportunity to watch a hat being decorated and a corsage, both to match the lady's dress. It really was not only impressive but also quite fast. The gentleman working on it has also lots of practice. Definitely worthwhile to go and check The Cutting Garden out. Yes, I agree with another person who posted. This floral shop is not crammed with tons of flowers. What you see is selective, but if there is something special, I am sure it will appear by the time you need these flowers that you had in your mind. read more

Ordered some flowers from the Cutting Garden earlier this month. Somehow the site form cut off some of the card message (probably because I wrote too much!) I immediately got an email from David thanking me for my order, ensuring it would be delivered that same day, and asking if I wanted to sign the card. Not only did he offer stellar customer service... (Via phone and email) But the bouquet was delivered later that day (as promised) And was GORGEOUS!! It's always nerve-wracking ordering flowers online/remotely because you never know how they'll turn out... And the last thing you want to do is spend good money for an ugly, sad, or half-dead bouquet. So grateful for all the reviews on here that led me to them! I got a spray delivered from the Cutting Garden for a family member's funeral. It was by far the most lush and beautiful floral arrangement - so much so that I was compelled to ask for the name of the florist. The person who ordered the spray is located out of state and found the Cutting Garden based on its stellar (and well deserved) reviews. She said the customer service was top notch. The Cutting Garden team found all of the funeral details and provided notification when the spray was delivered. I am a lifelong Houstonian and had not heard of this florist. I ordered Cotillion flowers last year based on the great online reviews and I was very pleased with the beautiful bouquet. Son's date LOVED her flowers! The attention to detail and the choice of flowers were absolutely the best!
