Got a block away and got a call. Seems like there's a mix up on the dates. We are not here Friday so you can pick the dog up on Monday. Diego came skirting around the corner from the kitchen to the family room where we all were. He couldn't stand when he reached his bed area and was shaking and more. I went into the other room to call his doctor to let them know we were bringing him in while my daughter was trying to assess the situation and calm him down. Dr Ferrell took Diego in the back immediately to look him over. The nurse called us into the room. They did bloodwork on Diego and asked us what we saw happen. It was determined his bloodwork was normal but Diego had a seizure which was the first time that has occurred. This was a very serious and scary situation for Diego and us. We were told to videotape him if it happens again and log length and frequency of them. Diego had just last month taken a flea pill due to us seeing one flea on his head. Dr Farrell said Diego will only take sentinel and his medicated shampoo and medicated foam for his feet are still ok for Diego to use.Dr. Farrell and his nursing staff and techs are so fantastic. They really put our minds at ease and have taken great care of Diego. We are watching him carefully and so far so good. Thank you Dr. Farrell, nurses, and technicians for your support and caring help.

Dr. David and the staff took so much time to explain the procedure, walk me through what to expect, and patiently answer every question I had. Dr. David is truly incredible. He is conservative and thoughtful when it comes to extractions and treatment plans, always prioritizing what is best for my pet. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and their quality of life. He did an amazing job with Mateo's procedure, and the results speak for themselves. Since this most recent surgery, Mateo is noticeably happier and more comfortable. His quality of life has improved so much, and that means everything to me. We understood our appointment to be at 2:30 pm for our two dogs and arrived at 2:15 pm. We were informed that our first appointment was at 2:00 pm and second at 2:30 pm. The office manager informed us that company policy required cancellation of appointment for which customers arrived more than 15 minutes late and that it would be "unfair to other customers" not to cancel our appointment. We had arrived within the 15 minute window and THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS PRESENT! Further, she informed us that she was cancelling both our appointments and would not honor the 2:30 pm appointment for which we were 15 minutes early. BETWEEN OUR 2:15 PM TIME OF ARRIVAL AND APPROXIMATELY 2:30 PM TIME OF DEPARTURE, NO OTHER CUSTOMERS CAME OR LEFT THE FACILITY. Further note that these appointments were for simple blood draws and should have taken less than 10 minutes per dog. As a corporate executive, I understand the need for policy guidance for managers and staff. These serve to provide a consistent, positive experience for customers and, in this case, fairness not to infringe on those who were on time to their appointments. That said, we were not beyond the allowed corporate policy time and THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS PRESENT! It is a manager's responsibility to exercise good judgment in the application of policies to balance the organization's need for profitable business with providing a positive experience for customers. What the office manager did was to militarize a policy to the expense of wanting/paying customers and Vetcor. Not once did the office manager or the receptionist say "let's see if we can work you in" or "we can't promise anything but let's see what we can do". They seemed to take pleasure in punitively attacking the very customers Vetcor relies upon for its existence. A 4+ year customer of Vetcor, I will not go back.

Both cats needed the same medication, but I was sold two separate bottles -- which felt unnecessary and more like a way to increase the bill. They also mentioned they'd send some over-the-counter options to add to their water for dental care, but I had to follow up twice, and when they finally did, it was something meant for dogs. On top of that, they quoted me over $900 for a routine dental cleaning -- I don't even pay that much for my own teeth. It wasn't a terrible visit since the issue wasn't serious, but it felt like the focus was more on selling extras than caring for my pets. I won't be going back and will look for another vet.
