It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. While we were gone we got a write up from the HOA and hired this company to come pull all of the weeds in the front and the side of the house and was quoted $140. The first red flag was them taking payment before the job was done and then leaving without letting us know they were "done". We wanted the weeds pulled but instead they weed whacked the weeds down but didn't even do a great job with that. They also weed whacked the fuck out of my aloe plant that I had out front. It looks like they intentionally mutilated my plants and it's frustrating when we are getting written up and hire someone to do a job and it looks worse then before. Usually landscaping companies will make sure that trash is cleaned up as well as leaves but that was not included. They were supposed to come out on Monday but they never showed up. We had to resurface our pool deck along with expanding the footprint, installed pavers to the courtyard and added turf to the front yard. We purchased our own plants but they dug all holes, planted and did all new drip systems. Kevin was incredibly helpful in that I had done AI designs of what I wanted and he created the plan to make it happen. Cheers to the amazing hard workers who endured terrible hot heat but continued to work with a smile. We offered water and food as I believe in taking care of those who help you. Plus they appreciated it. Lester was the supervisor of the team and got the job done. My only suggestion is for corp/management- Create a position Concierge liaison- a Individual who communicates to the home owners on all job sites in the morning by text of when to expect the crew and what part of the project is going to be worked on. Lastly provide easy ups for your crew as these working conditions are difficult. I love the outcome of the job and would highly recommend Pure Turf USA.

Deficiencies identified after their April installation remain unresolved despite several attempts…read moreby Pure Turf, USA, to correct them: 1) The artificial turf is improperly fastened down creating dangerous trip hazards; 2) Holes were cut in the turf to fit drain covers in an area where drainage wasn't specified and then patched back together with pieced-in turf; 3) A sunken area covered with artificial turf was not properly leveled beforehand; 4) The lateral drain shows signs of structural damage and drainage dug out of the yard was poorly executed; 5) Loose stepper pavers 'corrected' with cement are unstable and unattractive; 6) Rusty nails and debris were left behind after each visit. A 30-second walkthrough video of the finished work failed to capture these problems, and minimal effort has been made to bring the work on this project up to the industry standard I paid for. The owner, Shlomi, came out to inspect the workmanship complaints and then dispatched "the A-Team", but again, to no avail. A final crew showed up on June 27, and there's no telling what they did then, but they didn't address any of the outlined concerns.
