We had a leak in our yard and weren't sure where it was coming from. After a few attempts by plumbers to diagnose and fix the issue, we determined the water was coming from beneath a tree. They were able to locate the leak and set up a temporary fix so that we could turn our water back on. They came back two days later to finish removing the tree and fix the leak. Marvin and his team were incredible! I needed some irrigation fixed, plus a lot of our plants and trees were dead or dying, so we needed a whole spring overhaul on our backyard, plus dealing with weeds in the front. Marvin got back to me quickly and was at my home to do an estimate within a few days of me reaching out. Because I don't know a lot of plants, and because we have a dog that we wanted to be safe with whatever we planted, I relied on him for recommendations for resilient and non-toxic plants for our front and back yards. I wanted a fuller, lusher backyard, and he made that happen beautifully with wall to wall Japanese blueberries - they're so beautiful! We also have corner magnolias that he assured would grow significantly over time as well, so we are excited to see that progress! After the estimate and figuring out which plants were needed and quantities, he provided me a very fair quote for both labor and plants, and then we set up a day in the following week to get it all done, and he AMAZINGLY got it all done, both front and backyard, in one day! I got to come home from work to a completely refreshed and beautiful home and front and back yards! He also cleaned, brushed, and sanitized our existing turf, so they looked brand new, with no evidence of a dog! He for sure went above and beyond - we had gone to the nursery to pick out the plants and make the purchase, but it was so close to closing that they wouldn't let us go and pick them, but we were able to pay for them and Marvin graciously picked out and transported all the plants for us the morning of! Even afterwards, he helped me set the watering schedule to make sure the plants had the best chance for surviving, and even followed up with us a week later to make sure everything was looking good and we were happy! Guess I forgot to post this last year. They helped me out last August or September 2025. Marvin was very quick and kind. I called him because I had received a violation letter from the HOA about some dead shrubs in my yard. We submitted a Yelp request for an estimate for a irrigation repair job, and Marvin contacted me quickly and was able to come out on a day we were available to give us a free, and competitive estimate. Of the three business I communicated with, we chose to go with Bonilla Landscaping because he was willing to test the system to see if a lower level repair would fix the problem...it did! He and his crew arrived as scheduled (actually a bit earlier but checked with me first because they finished their previous job earlier than expected). They replaced a valve, rerouted a line around our shed that ended up pinching the original line, and while they were on site, they noticed a leak in a different line that they were able to fix on site. I needed a sprinkler pump repair. I do most of my own sprinkler maintenance but I wasn't confident that I could replace the pump.
