My wife & I are writing this very negative review on Mojitos country club located in Randolph Massachusetts. My wife and I ran a birthday party for my stepdaughter l who just turned seven years old yesterday we wanted to have her friends and family around her to celebrate in grand fashion. Much to our dismay this venue failed on so many levels! First of all the cover charge is way too overpriced. $20 per adult, $15 for children 11 and over. Not to mention the food which was undercooked, under seasoned and in my opinion completely inedible. Pizza was extremely tasteless, the cheese was falling off the crust and was extremely greasy! The chicken fingers brought a whole new meaning to disgustingly gross due to the fact that they were not cooked the temperature properly and tasteless. Secondly, my 15-year old stepson was treated like he was unwanted as a patron of the establishment because he was a minor knowing full well that his mother and I were sitting inside the venue and he was given a hard time for reentry because he was a minor, why did management fail to notify me that my son was having a problem entering the venue after he told them he was here with his mother! Adding to this already unpleasant experience Was an incident in which one of out guests children lost a very nice gold necklace in the pool and it is lost forever. My wife and I are not sure how this establishment thinks that they can put out food products that are subpar and charge ridiculous amounts of money for food, cabana rentals, and outrageously priced cover charges for a family wanting to come out and celebrate and have a good time. All you're left with as a guest at this establishment is a feeling of being extremely let down because you paid good money and did not receive service that was comparable to the price paid to have a function at this location. Unfortunately, this is not the first time My wife & I and our guests had the experience with the pool not being suitable to swim in, the excuse the first time back on July was improper use of chemicals in excess, this time around seems to be blamed on the filtration system, hair was seen floating in the pool!!! My wife & I give this venue a very poor rating if there was a way for us to give a negative star rating trust me they would get a -10! My second time going I went back in July & today. The pool was dirty just like my first time, chicken was not fully cooked , pizza did not taste like pizza idk what that was !!! Gave pizza a whole new meaning ! My son stepped out to grab something in the car security hood him he can't come back in mind u he is a minor where was he suppost to go? If his whole family is inside ? Entry $20.00 per duly kids $15.00 the water looks like a frog pond then a pool , idk what water problems they having ,but I don't think it's even safe to get in that water.... You are better off going to your local pool that is more likely more cleaner then this pool... read more

Nice spot and the drinks are good, def get the mojitos in the bowl.. 2 things i disliked was the constant Spanish music. Its diverse so u think they would change the music here and there but nope. The women in the back selling food is a rip off. She sold me 4 pieces of chicharron for $10 and fries for $4. She barely even fill up the plate with fries. U get like 20 pieces of fries and its the frozen one so i dont understand y she sells it so expensive. I will NEVER buy food from again, I rather starve. read more

This is solely for the pool! The nightclub is great! The pool is trash. Dirty af! So much hair and dibris in the pool today and on a hot summer day the best part is going in and I couldnt it was too gross. There were not too many people at the pool i would say a total of 25 so it was quiet and the service was awful. We got there at 12 and the kitchen didnt open til 2...to then order and have the server comeback twice with things they didnt have. It's a holiday week; why wouldnt you be fully stocked?! The food took 45 min to come out (Fried food at that). Our server just lacked some common knowledge of food service and clearly the bar and kitchen weren't on the same page. Work on customer service skills, management and cleanliness because this place has so much potential. read more

Nothing is more sad and depressing than watching such an amazing club become such a wreck that it is now. RCC was an amazing club for the local LGBT community to enjoy themselves and meet each other. This was even more important in a small town like Randolph, Holbrook. The country club by mojitos is a trainwreck of a bar who drove out the loved staff and regulars. No respect for the community means no respect for your mess of a bar. I would call Tabatha Coffee for help, but I doubt even she can save this mess. read more

If you care about your safety don't come here. Got robbed, security didn't do one thing and the manager is ignorant. Told cops he was installing cameras next week lies. Got dragged by the car that stole my purse. They didn't get much but this place is a safety concern. Save yourselves! read more

What happened to this place. It was an amazing pool with great people. On Memorial Day only 6 customers were at the pool. It's telling that on a Saturday that no one was there except the workers that are employed there. It was so disappointing that we left but we stayed partially because we felt bad and hoped for more people to come. I would bring back the LGBT and the gay music. Latin music is not working at this joint. read more

It's nice for the kids but sorry I think it's being ran so wrong it was my first time today I smelled the bathroom from outside the service is so unprofessional how do they changed the trash can drop food on the floor and don't come back to pick it up until 15mins later and I went in bathroom so my little cousin can change into her wet suit so nasty in the bathroom again sorry but it's my opinion and if you have so many workers what are they doing it was a very bad experience for me and I won't tell no one about this place if they don't already know staff and business owner need to think about how it's being ran and learn that that's not how to run a business last but y'all where was the right solution for the pool read more

This was our first time coming here with the name change/ owner change since 2009. The place is under construction and looks it. Dirty pool and premises, throughout. Restrooms are small, dark and dirty. The Bar prices were over the top and service was less than desirable. $27 for 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks. They ran out of large cups for beer by 3 YET charged the same price for smaller cups. The mixed drinks we were not mixed properly, either to strong or weak. Food was not what was advertised. Late to start. They ran out of burgers by 3. No apology, just a shrug of the shoulder. Totally unprepared and unacceptable for the business or event. We will not be back. Trey was not well accommodating the ladies and our needs. Beware, all, for poor service, high prices and unfriendly bartenders. read more

I used to go here on a regular basis and just moved back. I was so disappointed used to be a great place to stop by after work. I used to go for the meals on Sunday a lot. It is a question of if it ain't broke don't fix it. Staff was rude and prices ridiculous. My wife used to love to stop by and felt safe, now it is trying to be up to date and for a place in Randolph it does not fit. Needs to go back to the way it used to be, but like so many things it probably will close within a year and be empty. The old place has been there for so long I wonder why it changed. read more

This is by far the worst pool place I have ever been to. You reserve a cabana to then find put that you have to be at the venue by a certain time if not they give it to someone else. I dont understand why they even took my number down if I didnt even receive a call regarding my reservation. Nor did anyone say I had to be there at a certain time!! It also isnt posted any where. Then you have the hostess cause thats exactly what she is a hostess promoter want to be walking around and talking to people like she owns the place. She needs to learn customer service 101 !!!! Clearly dealing with ppl isnt her thing!!!! So after someone got us a table we got served by a waitress and she never returned to see if we needed anything else mind you we asked several ppl that worked there to send someone over and after an hour and a half wait we ended up getting up and going to the bar inside to try and get soda for the kids and sure enough she was there and her excuse was she was too busy to come and see if we needed something else. Had we been all men at the table she wouldve stopped by a few times. I dont understand why these spanish waitress fail to think that woman dont spend money at places !!!! We actually do and dont try to get in your pants at the end of the night!!!! My overall experience at this place was awful it is poorly ran and needs better management ... other than that the drinks were pretty good but I will never give them my business. I have largely retired from writing in Yelp but this venue is so exciting I feel the need to share my experience. I have been here several times now, for concerts, the pool in the summer and for the Friday 90s Hip-Hop Party. The staff is personable and really CARE about their guests. Service is sometimes spotty but it's a new venue so this is bound to happen. But what's really important is the overall experience and vibe and they have that in abundance. In the summer they have a huge pool with an out door bar and DJ, they also have Latin Nights and a 90s night on Fridays. I attend the 90s night most weeks and the bartenders are attentive, the drinks are well made and strong and the DJ is out of this world! I'm sure the other Yelpers here have their reasons for the poor reviews. I get it businesses close and you're upset the place you went to for years has changed, but change isn't always a bad thing. I discovered the RCC too late (summer 2012). I was amazed that such a facility existed - a pool, a bar, plenty of people. 2012 was a great summer. Sadly, the decline appears to have finished. The 5 or 6 times I've been there this year have been some of the most underwhelming days of the summer. The pool has been a disaster all summer. Not sure there is a bottom to the pool - it has not been seen for the murk of the water. I think management sees it as a problem. Yesterday, the pool vacuum was in the pool on the bottom. Not being used over the three hours I was there, but still someone felt the need to at least think about the nastiness. Me, one other guest, a bartender (Billy is great), and the manager there. Manager swam a minute or so. Showered immediately. We were assured the water was fine. They did wave the cover charge. I spent twelve dollars, the other guest nothing. How can they even make payroll? I've at least finally formed an opinion as to whether there is any further use to traveling there. That opinion, sadly is nope. read more

Like the other reviewer I gave the Country Club a half dozen or more opportunities to clean up their act. Even a gay Latino pool party was a flop with at best a dozen Latinos showing up all afternoon for the Friday event. My observation of the staff and promoter was zero energy to address simple things like keeping the place clean. The quality of the pool water was hit and miss at best with an indifference by the staff to clean it. Drinks are way too high priced for a club in the suburbs, the place is lifeless bordering on depressing. Even on the hottest sunniest weekdays you could never count on the place being open. I doubt I'll ever go back to Randolph until there is new ownership that caters to the gay community everyday of the week and are capable of operating a club and pool in a professional manner. read more
