You can tell that every detail on each plate was intentional and thoughtfully done. The standout dishes for me were the elote ribs, which were unreal, the grilled octopus cooked perfectly tender, and the ceviche con leche de tigre, which was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor. But the real star of the night was the whole branzino absolutely phenomenal. And for dessert? Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the options. I had not experienced vaping before, but upon entering, the owner, "VapeGod" is what his T-shirt affectionately labeled him, greeted us and took the time to open items just to explain the experience. We settled on a Smok Novo and tangerine/mint oil. He was happy to charge it for us while we headed to the bar to be amazed by their Mojito creating mastermind. The list of available flavors was a bit overwhelming at first since there were so many. We started out with Coconut and soon understood the magic. Watching as he used fresh mint and lime, squeezed and appropriately muddled, we knew we were in for a treat. This was the best Mojito we've ever had. The host revised her estimate to say it might be 15-30 minutes. Unfortunately, the behavior of both the host and the server she pulled in to assist her was unprofessional and inhospitable. They were condescending in their explanation, stating that we had to wait due to "previous reservations" and suggesting that we should be happy to wait. This was especially upsetting since a large party without a reservation had already been seated ahead of us and no matter how much we tried to explain our frustration, the staff was not interested in hearing us out. I fully understand that mistakes happen, but I found the staff's dismissive and rude behavior to be unacceptable.
