This little café is absolutely amazing! It is nestled right in the heart of Atwood, KS and everyone in town (and surrounding towns) visits to get some great coffee, great food, and amazing service. Everyone that works there has a smile and a friendly word to say. The owners, Lee and Diana Skiles, are really nice people and they are always out to help someone else. The coffee is the best! I do not know what I would do without my Grande Mocha Latte or Chocolate Peanut Butter Frappe. There is something for everyone because they also have various kinds of tea, many fruit smoothie options, and hot chocolate (my daughter's personal favorite!). This place is perfect in the winter time, with their hot coffee and tea, and perfect in the summer time, with their cold frappes and chilly fruit smoothies. Another aspect I love is that their food is pretty awesome, too. They serve breakfast and lunch. Other than their menu items, they also serve donuts, scones, cookies, cake, and sometimes pie. It just depends on the day! My favorites include their breakfast Panini, chicken wraps, white chicken chili, and The Seuss - a wonderful sandwich made with ham, cheese, and green chilies! Every Monday is Burger Monday and they serve many different types of burgers from the Avocado Burger, to the Mushroom Swiss Burger and most all of the dishes are served with your choice of hand cut chips or fries. -As a side note, the Skiles have participated (and placed!) in Smokin' On the Beaver - a HUGE smoking competition hosted right here in Atwood, Kansas. They compete in many different areas such as smoking meat, baked beans, home brew, and salsa. People from all over attend this event, so if you place, then you must know a thing or two about smoking meat and cooking great food! If you are looking for authentic, small town friendliness, the wonderful smell of a coffeehouse, and great drinks and cuisine, then Mojo Espresso and Bistro is the perfect place for you! Pretty cool little spot in Atwood that serves breakfast and lunch. You have to order at the counter and the bring your meals to your table. The selection is small but that's a good thing in my mind (do a few things well as opposed to many things mediocre). I had an Omelette Supreme that was slightly overcooked in my opinion but it was still a great omelette. My wife had scrambled eggs and hash browns which she enjoyed. We ate lunch at Mojo's twice while in Atwood recently (May 9,10). We learned that Mojo's is under new ownership and I can tell you that any sandwich with the homemade focaccia will be amazing. Rebecca and staff were friendly and accommodating. The local patrons were also friendly; we heard stories of local legends (Gary) and got other tips that made our stay more enjoyable (tent camping is free at the lake). Cheers! read more

Looked on line for a breakfast place and MOJO's said they do breakfast. We were told the grills aren't on and when the kids are back in school they don't do breakfast. Seemed like a nice place and the lady was nice but needed something more than coffee. They had a couple of doughnuts but not what we were looking for. read more

I went for lunch on a Monday and there was a big crowd for a small town. This place is a cozy little cafe downtown that specializes in all kinds of coffee, lattes, grapes, etc. BUT they serve a gourmet menu of sandwiches, too. The day I went was burger Monday. I had a mushroom burger. I added the grilled onions, and I haven't had that tasty a burger except in the city at Red Robin. The bun had been set on the grill and was just like I remember restaurant burgers tasting back in the 1960's. Fast food restaurants just don't taste like this! The burger itself was thick and hand-partied. I take it that the "chef" has competed in smoking contests and I would certainly declare him a winner! The burger came with either fresh-cut French fries or chips. I chose the fries, but later, I saw that the "chips" were freshly made thin slivers of potatoes--so home made potato chips, if you will. I wished I had tried those! One note: This coffee shop is open 6 AM to 2 PM only. Travelers: It is well worth your time to drive down the Main Street to find this gem! read more

Really good place to eat in a small town. food is always delicious and staff are very friendly and polite. Only thing I have to say that is rough is wait times. because there is only one barista at any given time, if it is busy at all you can wait for 20 mins just to get a coffee before work.
