PLEASE BEWARE!!! Do not buy the Yelp $5 for $10 deal, it WILL NOT be honored. I have tried this truck before, when they were in Plantation a few tuesday's ago, and was looking forward to having a taste of the great flavor Mojo on the Go is known for. MY fiance and I ordered the nachos, and then presented our yelp deal. "Mojo Mike" was working the front counter and had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. After I showed him the deal, this yelp page, and where to purchase the deal, he still would not honor it. He did offer me to pay $5 for the nachos (50% discount) but did not seem to understand that I already gave yelp my money and didn't want to have to dish out MORE money. For this reason, they get 2 stars. I find it funny that there are comments from the business owner here about his brother's restaurant in Ocala, him managing a 7,000 sq ft restaurant at age 22, etc. and he not know what was on his establishment's yelp page. WARNING - FOOD POISONING FROM THIS FOOD TRUCK 9/14/13: Me and five of our friends ate at this food truck on 9/14 during the Wynwood Art Walk. My boyfriend and I split the Carolina BBQ sandwich, tostones & a bottle of water. Our friends had various other dishes (I think everyone had pork) and we have all been EXTREMELY ILL. I confirmed with everyone who ate there that they were also sick, went through everything it could have been, etc. I called the health dept. and told them about this, however, hesitated about posting on Yelp - hey, its a food truck, in Miami, and serving pork. What was I really expecting? However, after one of our friends called the owner to let him know that 5 patrons were ill from eating his food, he became aggressive and defensive. He never once apologized, never offered any explanation and started screaming at her saying people were writing bad reviews online and costing him contracts. She had not posted a review at that point and just wanted some information from him. So, now I have no qualms talking about what AWFUL FOOD and service this food truck provided. I will NEVER EAT here again, or at the related restaurant. Incubation time before symptoms showed up for me was about 24 hours, I've had fever, chills, aches, stiff neck and all the horrible things that come along with serious food poisoning (going on 3 days now). Note - I saw another poster from Ft. Lauderdale shared a similar story about her friends who ate the same night and also got sick. My mouth is watering just thinking about MOJO!! Tony (the owner/cook) never fails to please. Portions are generous! Menu is nice and diverse. My fav is pulled pork nachos!!! Like their Facebook page to get notifications to where they will be on any given time. Next time I am back in South Florida I'll be sure to get my MOJO on!! read more

Voted #1 Food Truck in 2011 and for good reason. The Cuban Mojo Pork Philly is a great example. Tender mojo marinated pork in a soft Philly roll, cheese and fried potato sticks! A packed menu with BBQ, wings and even gator bites. Next time, I'm trying the Mojito Pork Taco. They got their mojo workin' and it shows! read more

Ate here at Wynwood Art Walk on 9/14/2013 and suffered from food poisoning. Thankfully, other Yelpers have described their experiences and I've been able to identify the culprit. I continue to have symptoms over a week later. I will not be returning. read more

Dude and dudettes, the Miami Food trucks finally made it to my hometown of Davie, FL(They'll be appearing every first Friday of each month at the beautiful Flamingo Gardens just north of Griffin Road on Flamingo Road). Mojo On the Go was the first food truck I encountered when I saw the special for the Ox tail. It's so succulent and tasty that you'll be wanting more of it. My wife had the dolphin (mahi-mahi) sandwich which she said was delicious! Tony (owner) is good people. I've eaten mojo on a weekly basis for the past 2 years. I have never once gotten sick or had a problem with service. I talked to the owner about the Miami situation and he rectified the problem by removing the manager on duty for improper handling of food. It's unfortunate that this situation occurred but If I know the owner, it will never happen again. Don't let these reviews deter you from enjoying mojo! The food is delicious and the service is always friendly! They can't have been voted #1 for no reason! read more
