We had to try this place since we were staying at their hotel. It was a bit pricey for lunch. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our first dish. It was the tomato salad. Delicious and beautiful. We had to wait another 30 minutes for our main dish. Granted we were given complimentary olives, chips and bread. They did apologize for the food delay.
Here are the issues I had. We shared the tomato salad appetizer. When it was brought out, the server didn't offer to give us small plates. Also, after eating it, we had to use the same forks for our main dishes. For both main dishes (Truffled Macaroni and Roasted Cod), I felt they weren't as warm as they should have been. Nevertheless, they were enjoyed tremendously.
I felt the menu weren't as descriptive as I'm use to. In California, a lot of higher end restaurants list so many ingredients on their menu, you can almost make the dish at home with it.
Dessert was 'Red Fruit Tart.' So descriptive. It was way too hard. It should have been allowed to sit at room temperature before serving.
We still recommend this place since the food was really good. They just need to work on their service, considering their price points. read more
