I had a mimosa also which was 20 euros (too much). There is a long wait for a table at Carette as it's become very popular thanks to Tik Tok and IG. We stood in light for about 30 minutes. The staff does a great job of keeping things moving as quickly as possible, but they can only do so much as people are relaxed while enjoying their hot chocolate and treats. Ah, to have thick hot chocolate on the streets of Paris! If only I could be whisked away to this beautiful city. I came here on my first visit to France with my sister and brother-in-law. I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. If you're gonna be jet lagged, might as well use it to your advantage and get one of the best spots on the terrace but just under the awning so you get the heat lamps. *** I got the brunch because I wanted eggs with my varieties of bread.
