Years ago I contracted severe pneumonia and spent 5 days in the ICU. Virtually all the care was exceptional as was the follow up care I needed to manage the resulting A-Fib. Eventually a cardiac ablation was performed with complete resolution to a normal rhythm now beyond ten years. I would, when needed, refer my family and good friends because I am delighted to be their patient!

After first being treated by a pulmonologist, I decided to look further to find a caregiver from my preferred hospital, Sky Ridge. Dr. Tagami also sees patients in the Castle Rock office of the practice. This provides even more convenience. Would recommend she receives some serious communication training for talking on the phone , I'm probably she just needs to not be the first person you talk to because she did not leave a good impression and maybe she's told to sound dull and disinterested so she won't get anybody's heart rate up get!! I'd recommend she just gets a different kind of work where she'll at least sound awake on the job. I'm a first time patient with no previous history and had some feelings scheduling first time cardiac appointment. Had to sounded like she just needed to go drink a gallon of coffee and not come back.

I sat there while the app did what he should have been doing. Made me realize I could just pay for an AI service and skip the doctor entirely. I asked questions about my arrhythmia - he couldn't answer them. He seemed rushed to end the appointment. No diagnosis from him. No treatment plan from him. I had to suggest propranolol and an ultrasound myself - things AI had already told me to ask about before the visit. They billed $2,314 for 30 minutes of this. I asked for an itemized bill showing what exactly I'm paying for. Emailed Ronnie Lasut (New Patient Specialist, Ronnie.Lasut@hcahealthone.com) - no response. Escalated to Bill Johnson (CEO, Bill.Johnson@hcahealthone.com) - no response. They won't even tell me what services justify $2,314. What are they hiding? Feels like a very shady medical practice.
