It was disappointing and frustrating, especially with what I'm working through with my health. At the end of the day, when you're dealing with emerging, concerning health issues and just trying to get some answers, you hope your primary doctor might show a little flexibility...especially for their last patient of the day. It takes 6-8 years to become an APRN, but 12 minutes past appointment time is where the line gets drawn. Just disappointing, you know? Sometimes the human side of healthcare feels pretty absent.

I highly recommend him for several reasons. First and more importantly, he listens, totally listens to what we have to say. His answers are well thought out and always right on target. Secondly, he is extemely understanding. He understands what we are trying to tell him and answers every last question we have. We are in our eighties, so we have had the normal number or more than normal issues that those in their eighties experience and he really takes the time to answer us. His recommendations for specialist are excellent! Lastly, his staff is excellent. We are able to talk to someone and are able to schedule appointments easily. Lab reports come back to us in a very reasonable amount of time. In conclusion, we would not drive four hours to see our primary care doctor if he was not the absolute best doctor. Everything came back well and they gave me a complete and detailed report of the tests. He and his staff did a good job instructing me to fast for 12 hours before the tests for accuracy. Previously, I had another physician's office give me some unfounded and frankly dangerous advice and Dr. Harris helped me confirm that truth and get things into perspective. Being able to trust your doctor is key and I trust Dr. Harris. As for the dollars and cents, while some providers will try to get a co-pay on every entry through the door, Dr. Harris only collected my insurance co-pay once and only on the visit when we went over the results.
