I was born with a fairly severe curvature of the spine (scoliosis). As a result, and because I sit at a desk all day for my job, I used to have frequent back pain. I was told years ago that if I didn't have two vertebrae fused together and rods and pins put in my back, that the pain would only get worse. I was afraid to do something so drastic, and so I didn't do anything, and the pain did get worse. My friend had whiplash from a car accident and told me about her positive experience going to a chiropractor, so I thought I would try it when I was having a particularly severe episode of sciatica. I found molloy Chiropractic Center originally for my business partner who was suffering with terrible back pain and no one was able to help. I have been going to Molloy Chiropractic Center for over 15 years. My first visit was for a back injury in which we found the 3rd lumbar had tilted sideways, and it had been that way for a long time. Had I not gone to Molloy, I probably would have had surgery. Through some really good daily therapy, (Doc Molloy even opened up on Sundays for my daily therapy), he slowly got the 3rd lumber back into its proper place. Over time it eventually stayed in its proper place. About 8 months I had a meniscus injury. I shared my MRI with Molloy. He suggested we look at the causes of the injury and what symptoms I had noticed since. The key was my IT band being under constant tension. With some daily exercises and ultra sound treatment on my knee, within a week's time, the tension in my IT band was gone, so too was the fluid in my knee, and likewise the pain was gone too. Just left the Doc's office and really needed to post a comment for those unaware of Doctor Molloy's range of services. I have been using Molloy for years for specific back ailments that he had successfully, confidently, repaired me of. Just Tuesday morning my elbow popped. Two hours later i lost most range of motion in that arm. It was excruciating. I thought its a sprain right. Next day was brutal. Come this morning I couldn't take it and thought of the Doc. At his office I explained my symptoms and within minutes he diagnosed the radial portion of my elbow was dislocated. Some manipulation and "pop", it went back in place. Instantly my range of motion was returned. Sure it was painful. So what. An hour later and all i have is tenderness. At least i can brush my teeth without crying. When my back went out, I went to my GP first, who only gave me drugs and gave me no explanation of what was wrong with me. When I went to Molloy Chiropractic, I could barely walk, I could not drive and I was in intense pain. Dr. Molloy ordered a second MRI because the one ordered by my GP focused on the wrong area. Dr. Molloy then showed me the 4 bulging discs that were causing my pain and nerve issues with my leg. He explained what needed to be done. In September 2016, I could not walk due to a back injury. Started going to Dr. Molloy. He started treating me and directing me in a direction to avoid back surgery. He had knowledge in all fields: MRI, orthopedic surgeon, and epidurals - all were needed. After this was all done, surgery was still in the back of my mind, as I was not myself. I was brought to Dr. Dennis Molloy with severe low back pain 3 years ago. I could not breathe and move, that how painful it was. After first treatment I had a relieve.
