I'm known to have little self-control when it comes to spotting a floral shop. I wandered into Molly Taylor on a whim, and my feelings can best be described as this: can I just live here? Seriously, Molly Taylor and Co. is a gorgeous, immaculate, floral dream. The space itself looks like a Pinterest page, with its beautiful selection of gifts and cards, sprawling decor, high ceilings, and delightful scatterings of plants and succulents. Every inch of the store is curated thoughtfully. Honestly, I felt so silly I had never visited before. I immediately fell in love. I wanted to lay on the settee and just be in my happy place! The flowers themselves are housed in the back. There are no pre-arranged bouquets here as they prefer to make every unique, but fret not, for they would be happy to make you something. Which brings me to the true highlight of this review: their custom arrangement. I've been burned by florists so many times (seriously, why is it so hard to find a talented, classy florist?). I asked Molly to make me something on the fly for my Mom, and I was so blown away by how stunning it was. My Mom absolutely loved the arrangement. They were some of the freshest blooms I've ever seen, curated with a textural eye and packaged beautifully. Molly accomplished my Mom's vibe with limited direction (I literally just told her classy and feminine). They sent me a picture of the floral arrangement before delivering, which is amazing. We made some changes and the owner herself delivered it. Wonderful experience over all! My sisters and I do not live anywhere close to our parents, but wanted to make sure we sent our mom flowers for her birthday that weren't going to be just a standard bouquet your order online. Our mom is a huge gardener and loves natural looking bouquets so that also was a huge reason we wanted to stay away from the "big online flower" shops. Well, when I went on to Yelp to find a local spot to order from, I luckily found Molly Taylor. We told them the idea of what type of bouquet our mom would like and her favorite flower being sweet peas, but otherwise did not give much direction. I wanted to give it 24 hours before I wrote this review. However, I want to save other people the trouble of what I went through. I called last week and ordered a plant style Bouquet and asked to have flowers added. The person who took my call said that she would text me some ideas of what they had in the store. I waited two hours for the text and finally called back and she said that she had forgotten and then she proceeded to text me with some pictures. I picked out what I wanted but I asked her to make it bigger, and add some flowers because it was for a friend of mine whose father had died. I told her I needed it Tuesday morning at 9:30 and that I was going to be delivering it to her shortly. She said everything would be ready. When I got to the florist there was a sign on the door that said that they were closed for a private event. Fortunately for me the door was open and unlocked. The lights were off, the place was dirty and dusty and full of boxes. I immediately thought-- oh no what did I do. They did not have my order, there was nothing made up for me and I had to wait. As they stuck three roses and some grass and an ugly bow into a dusty planter. I was extremely disappointed and will never go there again. I felt it was my duty to let others know. read more

Be very careful if you are using this florist for weddings, showers, etc. Flowers were unhealthy looking when we picked them up for a large shower. Family and friends commented on the poor shape many of the flowers were in. The next day I called Molly Taylor and let her know this. My husband brought two of the bouquets in to show her. She said she would refund our money because these flowers did not represent her business. After waiting a few weeks my husband called about the refund. He went to her store. She screamed and pounded on the table, and did not want to refund our money She stated did not believe the flowers were in bad shape even though we brought the flowers back to show her. She eventually gave my husband a check, but the experience was so bad we would never consider using her again. Buyer beware. read more

I would not recommend Molly Taylor Floral Design to anyone. Molly was very unorganized and I can't say enough how unprofessional she is. To yell at a customer and to tell them "I don't want your F*** money" just made our jaws drop!!!! She didn't not know how to handle a situation professionally. She was beyond rude! To scream and yell at a client is no way to conduct business. There are so many other florist out there I highly recommend you take your business else where. read more

From the very first meeting we had with Molly, we knew she stood out in comparison to the other florists we had met. She had so much spunk, personality, and a clear love for what she does. It is that passion that shines through in her work, and sets her well above other florists in the area. We could not have been happier with our decision to have them provide the flowers and décor for our wedding... Throughout our year-long planning process, her and Bailey were always so pleasant to work with, flexible, and almost immediately responsive to any question or need we had at the time. They made time to meet with us, even on busy weekends since we were coming from out of town. They were patient with us, even when we made changes to "the plan." We really feel as though they went out of their way to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted - and that our vision came through in the final product on our wedding day. Their services on the day of our wedding were exemplary. They arrived on time, and set up everything flawlessly. We had our gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres well in advance of our pictures. Then when I gave the name of the person that the arrangement was for was told that "oh we already have some for that person" then immediately she asked me for the address of the funeral. LOCAL BUYERS BEWARE! Dealt with Molly herself for 7 weeks. 12 DAYS BEFORE my WEDDING, she tells me to use another vendor!??!! 12 days BEFORE MY WEDDING! "Your cute, adorable, small wedding" (90 people) "has stressed me beyond words. I'm used to much larger weddings and cry myself to sleep thinking of your wedding." WHAT?! She admitted that she'd "underbid and wouldn't uphold her word. I told Bailey (her young business partner) I must have had a few small mini-strokes thinking I could do it for what I verbally quoted." OMG! This is not my first wedding and I can't image how a first time bride would have handled this. Her proposals kept changing. We work in the same area AND she still did this. I do hair, so I have a lot of connections with brides and know a lot hairdressers. Ultimately, this is a God blessing in disguise. She is not honorable, inappropriate and very unprofessional. She has a very poor reputation in the area of doing this type of thing, which I didn't know until after this happened. BEWARE! Just because she's in Hudson, means nothing. read more
