These people are so accustomed to bad reviews that they don't care anymore--no shame at all. It's a total rip-off. They charged €12 for a so-called fresh-squeezed orange juice that was full of ice. A couple of eggs over easy cost €20, and the same for an omelet. On top of that, they force a 15% service fee. The name of this place is Molo 20, located at Marina Grande, right in front of the port. I hope this review helps you avoid the mistake I made--the food is really bad.

41 euro for two limoncello spritz. Don't come here, I don't know what "Reparto" is I assume a service fee. For that price go to Rooftop Bar Capri that overlooks the three famous rocks.

Lemon Slush

My husband and I had a lovely time on the island of Capri until we were waiting for our ferry home and needed to kill half an hour. A good friend recommended getting a lemon slush at some point during our Italian honeymoon, and I thought this was a good time to do so. We passed by Molo, which had a nice view next to Pier 2. More importantly, we could see when our ferry arrived. The owner of the place was aggressive, misogynistic, and probably on drugs. At first I thought he was being friendly and hospitable, but I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with him. The lemon slush was alright. Overpriced as expected for a tourist trap. But it didn't feel like a safe, relaxing place to enjoy some quality time with my husband. There's no doubt his boisterous energy brings in new customers, but it's a little frightening. All in all, there are so many other spots to enjoy along the pier on Capri. My husband and I plan to stay here instead of Positano on our next trip, and you can already tell I'm going to stay far away from this cafe and obviously not recommend it. The thought makes me shudder!

This place was okay. The food was fine, but the service could've been better. We were charged extra for a large calamari that we did not explicitly order and one of our dishes came out completely wrong. The drinks were very good, but not worth the visit.

The Bruchetta was outbid this world!

We were charged 138 euro for 3 non-alcoholic lemon slushies, 1 alcoholic beverage and 2 salads. Total rip off.

Everyone was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We started off with the "scialatielli fior di zucchine e tartufo estivo". It's a made with homemade pasta, zucchini flowers, and truffles in a delicious sauce. We then had the house specialty "cocotte" which is a seafood pasta that is just out of this world. My mother and I love a seafood pasta and this one was so delicious we decided to ask for the menu again to order more. As we waited we got to enjoy the interior which has been operating for over 85 years since the owners father first opened the restaurant. It's truly a wonderful place that makes you feel right at home. We wanted a bit of fish to enjoy but did not want to order the large plate of fish, so Gianfranco went out of his way for us to ask his chef to cook us up a smaller plate of fish. It was so buttery and melt in your mouth. Absolutely delicious! My mother and I couldn't help ourselves, we decided to get a glass of Chianti wine and a tiramisu to end the meal. The tiramisu just melts in your mouth and we practically licked the plate clean. I have read the other reviews of guests who did not give 5 start reviews. I personally think they must be out of their minds because this was one of the best meals we have had in all of Italy! If you have the chance to come to Capri and walk up to see the towns center, this is a must stop location. You will remember this meal for decades to come. I wish much success to Al Grottino and to the family that has been operating this business for over 80 years.

In Capri, one simply has the Caprise salad. It was the perfect light lunch to celebrate my visit to this island. My waiter was friendly and I left revived from a 95°F day.

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.

Nestled on the side of a cliff in Capri, is this lovely place. It took our group of 8 on quite the trek down the side of said cliff in the hot Capri sun. Well it was worth the hike because the view was spectacular and the food was phenomenal. We basically ordered the entire menu but the standouts for me were the scallops, the fresh raw oysters and the seafood risotto. Of course the seafood tastes like they got it right out of the ocean. The service was also beyond amazing. Whatever we asked for, it was there with minutes and the table was quickly cleared of empty dishes and my wine was replenished a satisfying amount of times. I'm sad we couldn't experience the beach club but the view helped with the FOMO...btw the hike back up the cliff was intense. I'm grateful I'm in somewhat decent shape. An alternative to the uphill hike is a water taxi from the restaurant which requires advanced booking.
