This was literally the BEST experience I've had at an OBGYN. I used to go to East Valley Women and they were horrible. Go see the review I left them. Lol Anyways, the whole layout of the office is so girly, and inviting. It's not your typical office layout. They had vanity with a sink inside the rooms, cute pictures and cute girly figures of art. I loved it. I felt like I was getting coffee with the girls, not an OBGYN. The doctors and MAs were so amazing, nice and direct! I knew exactly what they were doing and testing me for. Very gentle. Appointment after not hearing a heartbeat-- we were walked back to our room and before getting the second ultrasound to see if there were any changes, or talking to a NP or doctor, the medical assistant walked in the room and said "so since you're not pregnant anymore I have to ask you some GYN questions..." My 22-year daughter had an ultrasound appointment 3 days ago at MOM DOC in Chandler, (Frye Rd) and she was helped by ANDREA ERICKSON. I cannot say enough about her expeditious, friendly, relative, and informative service. She calmed the nerves of both me and my daughter as if she had known us forever. I realized early it is her natural "human relatability" that makes her so effective and so memorable. I am appreciative for Andrea's skill and warm personality. Arrived 20 min prior to my scheduled appt for paperwork per their text. No paperwork was actually required. Their ultrasound tech was running behind due to emergencies. I didn't mind waiting. We finally conclude the ultrasound and they ask me to undress and wait for the doctor for my exam. Waited another 30+ minutes, naked and freezing in their exam room. No one came by to update me. The doctor finally came in and didn't have a clue what was going on...kept asking me to repeat information that is already in my chart from a visit several days prior, had no idea I had done the ordered blood work in their office an hour earlier, and had no information regarding the ultrasound I had just had which was the entire reason for my appointment. 2 hour appointment for crappy service and terrible communication. read more

I went in for an annual preventative exam and was billed for $20. Mom Doc claims I asked a question about contraceptives so this is the reason I was charged $20 and not paid for by my insurance. How is a question about contraceptives not included in an annual preventative exam?! Mom Doc has done this to me twice - this is a horrible way to treat your customers. Dr. Minter did my hysterectomy in March of this year and although it ended up being much more of a complicated case than any of us were expecting, she was top notch both in surgery and in professionalism and bed side manner. I healed wonderfully and she always made me feel at ease. I went to MomDoc for my last pregnancy in 2010 and while Dr. Minter was not yet with the practice, I also had a wonderful experience with my obstetrician at MomDoc. read more

The one star is for the ultrasound tech, she was great. Other than that, this place is terrible. The check in girls/medical assistants are clueless. The providers don't even act like they care about you in the slightest. Save your time and money and just go somewhere else!! If I could give no stars I would!!! They do not call you back, leave you on hold for 10 -15 minutes at a time and when they do get on the phone they can do nothing for you. I have been waiting for a prescription for over two weeks, call last Friday and they say it's good, the pharmacy will call, today the pharmacy calls telling me they are still waiting for the Dr to send it over.....call momdoc to be hung up on and on hold forever before them telling me the girl who handles this is out and she has not even sent it to the insurance!!!! Really had a great experience with the ultra sound lady Andrea. She was so caring and very friendly. Definitely the best one they have. The girl that took me to the examining room spoke very fast & did not talk clear. Every time she spoke to me I had to ask her to repeat herself. It was getting very frustrating she didn't even pick up on my frustration. Than I asked 3 times for my insurance card & drivers license back & when I arrived home I realized she forgot to give it back to me. I had to drive all the way back to the office to retrieve it. No one apologized for the inconvenience that they caused me. This was the first time meeting this Doctor so I was a new patient. The Doctor was a hour late seeing me but when I did finally meet her she did take the time to get to know me. read more

I have switched OB's back in March and I have received 4 random bills (its July) from MomDoc for the 3 months I went there for my pregnancy. I came here for my annual and birth control refill where I learned here the birth control I had been on for the past 5 years was wrong for me and dangerous to my health! They recommended a no estrogen pill that has been amazing for my mood swings and I no longer get my terrible migraines w aura and holy moly life is better! I've seen three different people here and they are equally awesome caring people! Thank you for taking the time and asking the right questions and truly caring for the women who come in here! I'm so thankful to have found this place! Thanks for enhancing my quality of life through my birth control switch! My boyfriend and I raced to this location to get a packet of information before they closed. We were excited because we made it about 10 minutes before they closed, we walked up and it was dark and closed for the day. We made it at 7:50pm and they are supposed to close at 8pm. Please stay away from this place! Was seeing momdoc for a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage. I miscarried naturally, and during and after the miscarriage I was feeling extremely weak and kept feeling like I was going to pass out. Went to follow up with momdoc, the young PA or whatever she is, told me I was feeling that way because I took hot showers, and just dismissed my issues I was having. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, momdoc calls me to let me know my test results came back and that I had lost too much blood and my hemoglobin was a 4 which is super low and that I would need an IV transfusion. I let her know that this was exactly what I was trying to tell the PA I saw but she brushed it off as nothing, let her know as well that I had already gotten treated at another OB. This place is ridiculous and does not care about your health. The young doctor I saw would also give attitude anytime you asked a question, making you feel like you were stupid. Please don't come here and look for a REAL OBGYN read more

I've been coming here since getting insurance. I've been to the chandler location (Frye and Dobson) and the tempe location. Both locations are very very slow. I've been waiting in an exam room for an hour just waiting for a paper script for birth control. My appointment was at 1:10 and was brought back right away. The provider Rachel came in and talked to me a little bit about how my birth control was then she left saying she would get me a script for refills till August but has not came back for me.... No one has came back into the room since. No one has popped their head in and gave me a heads up that they are busy or that it will be a little bit of a wait instead, I'm in the waiting room thinking they forgot about me. I hear chatting and laughing but no one has came in here for me. UPDATE: I texted momdoc's number and asked if I should be waiting or not. They replied and said "Savannah, just wait in the room. Someone will be with you shortly" at 2:25pm. I sat there until 3pm and no one had come in for me so I left. As I was walking out of the building NO ONE was in the hallways or anything and NO ONE asked me where I was going or why I was leaving because no one was out there that I could talk to!!!!! I'm not coming back here. I waited from 1:10pm-3pm. They forgot about me. This is craziness. read more

I went in to get an ultrasound for uterine fibroids, annual pap/hpv testing. I was very pleased at the cleanliness of the office and it's convenient easy to find location. The pap was extremely difficult as my cervix is tipped up, toward the roof of my abdomen and, despite this being a very frustrating process for both of us, the doctor was very patient and took care to ensure I was as comfortable as could be expected for the process. They scheduled my ultrasound and biopsy, proeffectively issuing me a clean bill of health promptly and courteously. I have to update this review and change my previously five star service that I received from the doctor to a one star for the ensuing nightmare from dealing with this place of "business". Whoever submits the information to insurance submitted it incompletely/and incorrectly. I called my insurance company and they said they contacted Mom doc five times for the correct information and got no response. There is a standard 30 day time period in which the business must submit the correct information to insurance before the case is closed. Well after my insurance closed the case several months AFTER the date of service I get a big bill from Momdoc for 500 and some odd dollars; so basically they're trying to squeeze that money from me because of their screwup. And secondly due to more improperly submitted information they sent me to collections TWICE for $53. So I had to pay collections $53 for no reason which they will not and have not reimbursed me for. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism from a medical establishment - or any other place of business in my entire life. When I called their billing department the woman I spoke to just said "we have no record of sending you to collections". I told her that he didn't surprise me given that they don't seem to be able to do basic recordkeeping of any kind whatsoever and that this was the part of the problem - I sent her a photograph even of the bill but clearly stated Mom doc as the business that sent me to collections- Even after receiving documented evidence of this their billing department insisted they had no record of it - To which I replied well now you do because I just sent it to you. Still "yes but we don't have any records that show that we sent that". Unbelievable! This has been dragging on for months and is so infuriating that if I get one more bill from them I am taking the time to take them to court read more

Today I called the office to speak with billing regarding the $611.75 paid as surgeon fees. I asked for my money to be returned to me, minus the copays of my insurance for 2 office visits. One with Dr Sabre and the other with Dr Badawi. I was told it would take approximately 2 months after they submit to my insurance and insurance pays their portion before they could return my money. Mind you, this is after they were very quick to demand payment for surgeon fees for a surgery that hadn't yet been scheduled back in August 2022. They are quick enough to demand money. They are unethical enough to demand things like a mammogram and a colonoscopy and justify them as standard required pre-op testing for a medically cleared, planned, consented to, and approved hysterectomy to take out the grapefruit sized fibroid currently causing pain and excessive bleeding. They are quick to demand the making of medical appointments to see anesthologists that do not have an office and do not see patients prior to day of surgery. And then they are quick to try and sell having a second surgeon there just in case some other procedure might be needed. Unethical. Disrespectful. I have been to 3 locations (Gilbert, Phoenix, and Glendale) and only Gilbert treated me as a human. Only Dr Guzman conducted himself in a way that was caring, compassionate, and listened to the concerns that brought me to him. If you have issues with women's health, this is the last place I would ever suggest going to. They do not treat their patients as people. read more

Since the beginning of my prenatal care, we have been so fortunate to see Andrea Erickson at the majority of our ultrasounds. She has always been so kind, uplifting, and makes you feel very comfortable. We just had our second anatomy scan to capture a few images unable to be seen at the first one and I made sure to schedule with her. While with her, she made us feel at home and like she really truly cared about us and our well being. read more

The straw that broke the camel's back came today when I was informed that, despite the fact that I was in their office several times last year, no one bothered to mention that my IUD should have been replaced LAST SUMMER!!! Despite the office manager's assurances that she "was, like, so sorry" for the mix-up, I find it less than comforting that blind luck is the only thing that kept me from avoiding an unwanted pregnancy this year! Really enjoyed my visit with Dr Scott Partridge. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and patient. He answered ALL my questions (trust me there were a LOT) and didn't rush me. The appointment was on time and the office staff were courteous. The only negative for me was when I had blood drawn the girl left me with a BIG ball like bruise on my arm. Even a week later it still looks like a vampire got me....but other than that everything else was good. Happy to recommend this doctor. read more

I went in for a women's wellness preventative checkup. My insurance was billed for that visit and then billed for an additional code that the billing department had "never seen before". Maritza, the biller, had to do some research and call me back. Apparently because I asked the doctor "an additional question that didn't have to do with a preventative visit". The doctor answered with a 30 second response and then charged my insurance company for the question and charged me for a deductible. I have never been charged by a doctor's office for asking a question that takes 45 seconds to answer. I ended up having to pay $38.25 for that question. That doesn't include the additional $390 my insurance paid for the preventative checkup plus the $297 they charged my insurance for the question as an additional office/outpatient visit. I work in healthcare and know shady billing when I see it. I will never be going back. read more

I'm 8 months pregnant and today I had an ER followup due to a bad car accident at the chandler office (which I usually don't go to for a reason but it was convenient). As soon as I walked in the MA Alexis seemed quite immature and seemed to be laughing at me. After I took my urine test she mentioned something about my bill being outstanding, I told her that I had already discussed it with the MA at the QC office who said she'd make note of the fact I ONLY have AHCCCS. She then told me its probably cause I have primary insurance and advised her that I was very sure I didn't and she started giggling when I explained it. I don't think there's anything funny or humorous about my billing info considering I know what I'm talking about I used to work in the billing dept. for MomDoc about a year ago so I know a thing or two about the OB billing process. I was very very upset to be treated this way especially after the traumatic event and amount of pain I'm in. I'm getting really close to not attending MomDoc anymore considering this is the 2nd time I've had a bad experience at one of their offices. read more

Please do not come here. After I took off time to make a visit I had to come back to actually get the blood work done which is what I was scheduled to come in for. Afterwards, I had to talk to billing on five separate occasions because they kept trying to file it under my maiden name, and the issue only got resolved after my insurance called in. Deeply disappointed with the attitude of everyone I've had to talk to, and I've never had issues like this before with any doctors office. Update: A manager tells me over the phone that my account has a $0 balance and encourages me to become a patient at her location (never will I ever set foot in any of their locations again). Then I get bills for two exams, one of which should be covered at 100% as a well woman's but they refuse to use the correct billing code. So I've been making 1-3 payments a month and today get hit with a bill including a late fee?! Are you kidding me? Please don't let the idea of them having multiple and convenient locations convince you to become a patient here!! read more

I went in to do ultrasounds for infertility and was told it was only $375 dollars which I gladly paid up front. A few weeks later we received a bill in the mail for $2,000 for the same service that we were never told we would be billed this amount for. I called the billing to see why we were billed and would have paid it if there was a legit reason. The customer service rep I talked to was kind but didn't even explain what the bill was for and just mumbled to herself until 5 minutes later told me the bill was cleared and I didn't need to pay. So, I thought okay cool! And then a week later was my follow up appointment to go over lab results. my what at first, who seemed to care doctor, now treated me like I didn't matter. At my first few visits she was telling me things looked great and I could get my cysts surgically removed and then after the billing incident she was no longer friendly or caring and was trying to just get me out of the door And told me now that my only option was IVF. After quickly going over my results I asked her if I could be put on progesterone due to low estrogen. She had the gall to say, "oh ya the IVF clinic will take care of that and I don't even want to go into how much hormones they will put you on!" This doctor was so insensitive for a patient dealing with infertility. That showed me right there that she was just in it for the money. But again it wasn't my fault I didn't pay the $2,000. read more

So we recently had a baby and went with momdoc during the entire pregnancy to this same location at first it seemed good we liked the drs it wasn't til the end of the pregnancy to where we started having problems I'm not gonna talk about the rude attitude from nurses or the medical assistants who barely knew how to do there job and wouldn't even schedule us right. What I really want to talk about is towards our last visit there before giving birth we were scheduled to be induced on a Friday and we had our last appointment on the weds day prior well she was getting really bad contractions that were worrying her on that weds but felt better that we had a drs appointment so they can check on her well during that appointment I felt they rushed her and ultimately said she's fine and everything was good later that night and the next day she was still getting bad contractions so we went in to the hospital Thursday and they checked on her and told us we had to stay that the baby's heartbeat was dropping during her contractions and the baby's fluid were really low that they were shocked the drs at mom doc office said they were fine I was so upset that we were literally there the day before and they said the fluids were good yea I get they might have not known that it drops during the contractions but like I said they rushed the last appointment and didn't check her right when she told them about the contractions. So we ended up having to get a c section and we're suppose to return for a check up 2 weeks after we'll during those 2 weeks she noticed her cut was starting to look infected and a lot of puss was coming out but we were close to the appt so we were thinking they could look at it there yes we were worried but we were close to the appt so we just waited when it came we were relieved to get it looked at surprisingly the dr said oh it's fine don't worry about it so we were like ok that's weird but ok we trust you your a dr! We'll the next couple days we were like there's no way that's ok and we got a second look at it from a different mom doc location and right away they told us it's infected and gave us some antibiotics for it I'm so upset that the first dr said it was fine and we are so worried it might get worse because it didn't get attention when it was suppose to this is the worst doctors office and we are never going back!! read more

I have been going to this doctors office for years but have had many problems. This last problem that's the cake. How can you call someone at 6 pm to cancel their appointment after you already called to confirm the appointment only hours before. This was an appointment to schedule for surgery not just some yearly check up. It took a week to get the appointment in the first place! And now they want to say there is nothing they can do and we are sorry you are in pain. The worst customer service considering the kind of work they do. Never will I ever go to this company again. They canceled or changed the time of my apt numerous times, failed to tell me I had RH factor while pregnant, and that I had another dx. They fail to tell you pertinent information regularly. The Dr. are rude, one telling me (while I was 7mo pregnant) that she had delivered many still births, another telling me during my appointment that she has other patients to see. I needed to see a fertility doctor and was referred here. As a working woman with a typical schedule, I was forced to use time off to see a doctor, since they only see patients at an 8-5 schedule. I live about 45 min away from this office and as I pulled in, I received a call saying my doctor was not going to come in for my apt. The manager that called me to tell me this was so condescending and rude and did not care at all about my issues and the fact that they were doing this less than 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I had even called that morning before I left to confirm. This is just not acceptable and so uncaring to the patient. I was told no other doctors that day would see me. When I told the manager about how far I had to drive for this, she said "I'm sure you did." Just really uncaring. I do not recommend. For as sensitive of an issue as fertility is, this clinic lacks all empathy. read more
