Absolutely horrible, they are high risk provider for patients who have a high risk pregnancy and they don't do or help you with anything.

I have never experienced such poor healthcare services anywhere as I have at Valley Perinatal. You will never be able to speak to an actual person. While they have a central number, no one picks up as a method to discourage patients from calling and instead using their texting system. Being pregnant more importantly having a high risk pregnancy and not being able to contact anyone through the central number or specific office extensions is so discouraging and frustrating for expecting mothers. We cannot be expected to text our appointments and concerns. We need to speak to an actual person to feel as though our services are being cared for. It's a disgrace the way their services are given. I went in for one ultrasound, my tech Teresa and she had terrible bedside manners and would alter office policies to her own discretion. I also arrived at the required time of 7:15am, and the office doors were locked. I tried to contact someone but of course, you're not able to speak with anyone there. In addition, Teresa took it upon herself to schedule my next ultra sound as opposed to verifying with my physician when the next one should actually be. The front desk also was clueless as to when my future appointments should be scheduled even though the order was given to them. It's a shameful way to provide care to individuals that are expecting. I canceled my services here and went to AMOMI for all my services. AMOMI gave me the luxury of speaking to a person, and had wonderful ultrasound techs. Being in healthcare myself, I understand the importance of patient advocacy and care and I would definitely not recommend this place for any healthcare services. Their are plenty of other healthcare offices providing the same services. I would switch immediately! read more

Exceeds standard of care. All the staff has been incredibly nice this far especially being a new mom and having to see high risk everyone has been so reassuring. Special thank you to Renee (front office/MA) for her kindness. She doesn't even ask my name upon check in, she remembers and tells me she's checked me in while I walk and sit down. I recently found out I was pregnant and my OB sent me to a different location originally. My second appointment I was sent to this office and let me tell you, I am so thankful! The staff is friendly, helpful, and I never have to wait long periods of time. Being high risk and having type 2 diabetes they really make you feel safe. They monitor the babies heart tones and they take time to answer all your questions. Bernadette is also amazing! She will make sure you are on track and she monitors all of your food logs as well. She is compassionate as well. I'm so lucky I was sent to this office! I highly recommend them! read more

I LOVE this place! The standard of care here is amazing! First I'd like to recognize Erin the ultrasound tech, she is super friendly and has the best energy! I told her that I had not gotten a good 3D pic of my sons face and she went above and beyond to get my stubborn boy to move in a way where we could see almost all of his face! This is after many others have not been able to! I was so happy! Also she gave me lots of pics and videos of my little one! Delivered straight to my cell phone too! Dr. Martinez is TOP KNOTCH & one of a kind! There is no one else I would trust to care for me and my son! I love going to see him and he answers all my questions and is so personable! He is definitely the right man for the job of working with pregnant women all day! He is so knowledgeable on so many different matters & it's refreshing because after a 2 year long battle with reoccurring pregnancy loss I'm sad to say many doctors don't know much about high risk or complex cases. Dr. Martinez is not only a great man, he is cutting edge and up to date in his field. I wish more were like him! He also has been able to prescribe an amazing combination of medicine to treat heartburn that was so painful I would vomit and cry! Now I can eat again and be happy again! Thank you Dr.Martinez! I'm eating right now and it's perfect! The front office staff is amazing! The ladies at the front desk are also hard working and happy! They are so good at what they do and on top of things! I even missed an appointment once and they were immediately calling me - at which point I realized I spaced my appointment. They were so understanding to my "pregnancy brain fog" and got me right back in SAME DAY! I am so excited to have my son and I can't wait to come in and show everyone my rainbow baby after 6 miscarriages this team has helped all my dreams come true! My only complaint is that once I have my son I will not get to come in and see everyone weekly like I do now! I was texting the scheduling system due to receiving a text first to schedule through the text I was responding as they were texting me back. I confirmed that i wanted the appointment that was offered to me. When I get to the office on my appointment day I don't have an appointment. The lady stated that they didn't receive my response to confirm so I don't have an appointment. She stated that there's been continuous problems with the text system and that I have to wait 2 more weeks to get an appointment after I took time off and the appointment was for my baby's heart. The staff are great, no complaints there. My complaint is I have been trying to get ahold of this place for 2 weeks to change my phone number on file with them! Ive tried their texting service and get no reply! I call, wait for 20 minutes for someone to pick up and the first thing the say when they answer is "Hi can you please hold?" Then on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up. Doesn't matter the time of day, or day of the week, its the same every time!! Then you press 2 to be put on the call back list and when you press it it does nothing. I need 2 minutes to change a number and I am on the phone for an hour with out talking to anyone. The ultrasound tech we had at Valley Perinatal was amazing - I've never had an ultrasound tech explain everything to me like she did. She was kind and professional. The people here are really sweet and understanding. I honestly had a long day and didn't know if I was going to make it to my appointment. I expect them to be less understanding but I got proved wrong they did everything they could to work with my schedule. Always making me feel like I'm an important patient to them. Not sure who my ultrasound tech today was (as I was way too angry to remember to ask) but she laughed upon me talking about my pregnancy loss. I don't see what was funny as the entire ordeal was very traumatic and heartbreaking for my family and myself (without getting into all the details). This office is truly a Blessing. Everyone from the moment you walk in is friendly, informative and patient. I am so happy to have this office a part of my journey. Being high risk is stressful enough but I'm always at ease when I'm this office. They always get back to me when I need results or have questions. I can't believe I forget to review this amazing place. I had Gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. Sue was amazing in educating me. I was able to keep my blood sugar down and didn't gain much weight either during my pregnancy. My baby boy is healthy and smart. I really feel Sue and great people working in Chandler was the key reason for my easy pregnancy. The ladies who took my blood I thank you. I'm totally afraid of needles but your gentleness made it painless. I will be back for sure. read more

I am pregnant with our fourth baby and I would NOT recommend coming here for any part of your care. The facility is nice, but EVERYTHING is automated - you won't talk to a human if you try to call for appointments. Everything is "for the most immediate assistance, text us or use our website chat". I've seen three different techs and only one had good bedside manner, the other two were mediocre (not what I want while having appointments that I always have some amount of anxiousness for). Billing is RIDICULOUS - I've never been charged so much for ultrasounds, and the woman I spoke with through the billing department was extremely unprofessional. They also do not print any of your ultrasound photos which I hate. Mobile photos are nice but nothing replaces those sweet, tangible prints. read more

Not sure how this place has 5 stars. Was told appointment was at one and to arrive 15 early which we did. Than get told appointment isn't until 1:30. Get called back at 1:50 sit in that room for 15 min. Someone finally comes in and gives ultra sound. After that 40 min experience get told to wait for the doctor. 35 min later get moved to another room. Blood pressure taken and get told to wait for the doctor. Another 20 min finally see doctor Chem who was an absolute retarded asshole. The only good thing out of all this was wife and baby are totally healthy. Screw this clinic I'll make sure everyone knows to never go here. read more

A lot of these recent reviews are so bad I'm surprised because my experience was great! I went in as a referral by my OB due to the twins and the doctors were so transparent into what type of high risk pregnancy I had, it had me be prepared for what could happened. All the techs were so friendly and good bedside manner. I loved that the ultrasound photos were electronic as it was easy to share with my family - the physical copies always get damaged somehow. I recall I did have an issue with trying to reschedule and saw the reviews about not able to reach anyone over the phone. After listening to the prompts, if you select the expected prompt to reach someone for appointments, no one answers however, if you select a different prompt (I believe it's options 2, then 6 then select location option), you always reach someone in the office and I've never been on hold for a crazy amount of time. Also the text never works so don't try it. read more

Came here a few weeks ago for my ultrasound! The lady who helped us was super nice, she also found our baby within seconds. She answered any questions we had. She also explained everything we were looking at! And so cool she texted us the photos right away! I have about 4 more ultrasounds to have done here throughout my pregnancy and I couldn't be more excited to come back! Yay!! read more

I had a very positive experience with my high risk pregnancy- the ultrasound tech, front office, and all the nurses were really kind and professional. The only reason I have to give a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is that we had to wait a long time between seeing the Doctor and having my vitals taken. I know waits a normal, but we waited in a strange room with no indication of how long our wait would be. Other than that- it was awesome. read more

They seem to always be running behind. My first appointment was 30 minutes behind. As I type this, I'm in the waiting room waiting for an ultrasound that was supposed to be an hour ago. I had a follow up with one of the doctors scheduled via zoom after my ultrasound, but they had to push back that appointment so I would have time to get home. They didn't even realize I had been waiting this entire time until I asked them to reschedule that visit. Feeling very frustrated by this office and am not happy at all. I'll be asking my regular OB if there is another option to help manage my gestational diabetes. read more

Prior to coming to this office I was scared. Dr, Oh and his staff were very helpful. They explained everything in a way that would make sense to a mother whos mind was racing over 100mph. I was referred to Valley Perinatal Services by my OBGYN after being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. The main purpose of my visit was to have an educational consultation with a diabetes specialist to discuss the causes of GD and how to manage it for the remainder of my pregnancy. I was warned beforehand by my Dr. that they would try to continue to manage my pregnancy, and advised to just go for the educational consultation. I was also told that my OBGYN's office typically sends patients to another facility for GD education, but that office does not take my insurance. So, I had no choice but to go to Valley Perinatal. I was extremely disappointed. I was taken back for an ultrasound without meeting with a doctor first to discuss why the ultrasound was required. Afterwards, I had my blood sugar levels tested and met with Dr. Oh, who I'm not even sure is the diabetes specialist I was supposed to meet with. After speaking briefly with me, and telling me that he wasn't even sure why I was there, I was asked to come back for another ultrasound at 36 weeks because they felt the baby was too big and wanted to determine if a C-Section would be required. I was not happy about my interaction, nor did I leave with any more knowledge about GD than I had when I first arrived. I also now have a $500.00 bill that is owed to them for blood work and the ultrasound that wasn't even necessary. I'm not sure how they handle other high risk pregnancies, but for my purposes with them I would NOT recommend this office. I will also be filing a complaint with my insurance provider. read more
