I had told my therapist many times that knowing the why my unwanted behaviors existed wasn't helping me change them. I needed something actionable. One afternoon, as I procrastinated on the things I needed to do to successfully launch a new business, I realized the palpable anxiety that some things provoked. I researched alternative therapies - tapping, massage, hypnosis, reiki - before I decided on reiki. Lucky for me my first call to a local massage/reiki center went unanswered, because I then looked closer at Cathy's ad and then at her website. She mentions several of the things that I had been researching that afternoon. I made the call and saw her that night. We all suffer from different issues, so, it stands to reason that the solution will be different for each of us.
