I have been holding my head a little higher in the days since my shoot, what a confidence boost!!! It was just what I needed and more than I could have ever imagined. It's known to some that I had an eating disorder and body dysmorphia 30 something years ago, for which I sought treatment (back in the day when it wasn't really a positive thing to do so.) The birth of my children made things easier for me to accept myself the way I was and I have kept my negative behaviors in check because of my children, but in the last year or so I could feel my mind obsessing about my flaws and my size, which has been getting increasingly larger due to many health conditions and the inability to work out in any form, including walking. I was browsing Facebook one day and saw a photo shoot that Allie had done and decided it was finally time, even at my heaviest, I thought this would be a good reason to work on my health, I now had a goal. I was so nervous!!! This was so not me, so far out of my comfort zone, but I did it, I booked my session for my 52nd birthday. I didn't actually lose the weight I had hoped to and considered canceling multiple times, but something kept telling me to just do it!!! And I am so glad I did!!! I have never felt more beautiful and confident in my whole life!!! Allie is amazing to work with and talks you through every step. The photos she took really capture the true me!!! There were genuine smiles and real laughs in some of the photos and those were my favorites, they were so real!!! Allie is such a talented photographer!!! She was able to capture the best parts of ME!!! I could go on for days, but basically the bottom line is YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! I have many times that I would consider to be the "best days of my life", like the birth of my children and grandchildren, my wedding day, the day I survived my accident, etc, and this day with Allie rates up there with them, it was the day I discovered myself and saw myself through Allie's lens, it was the day that my confidence grew by leaps and bounds, and it was the day that I felt my most confident and beautiful!!!

He brought me to a park near Burlington and took pictures where he could meld the background greenery. After I received the photos he melded the background greenery to what it looked like a green mosaic painting. I was very stunned and astonished how he worked the background.
