Now that I have two really young kiddos, I never really have the time to write reviews but this is a special case because LIAT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. I sleep trained my little guy when he was an infant and everything was fine until his little sister came along. I literally went through 8 weeks of hell where both kids were not sleeping and I was waking up 4-8 times a night between the two kids. EIGHT WEEKS OF NOT SLEEPING had me on the edge of depression.... I didn't know what to do and one of my mommy friends told me that I needed to get a sleep coach. I want everyone to know that I was a HUGE SKEPTIC of sleep coaches/consultants. I thought I had pretty much read everything I could on sleep and that there was nothing that could really be done. My other friends had used sleep coaches too and some of them didn't work so that just added to my skepticism. But after 8 weeks of not sleeping and hitting rock bottom, I thought why not? Liat helped us sleep train our 5 month old. Some of the highlights of her service are: 1) She not only helps with sleep habits but also feeding habits. She helped us get on schedule with feeding habits as well 2) She comes home for the first consultation which is extremely helpful 3) She explains very single minute detail associated with the plan. And when things do not go as planned she is there to guide and change things up 4) She also provided sleep tips for my toddler who woke up few times a night. 5) The support that she provides during the process is unbelievable. I was conflicted about sleep training my four month old, but so happy with the results. My little guy is sleeping like a champ! And I can tell that the organized sleep and predictable routine has helped him feel safe and secure with my transition back to work. Liat had to talk me off the ledge more than once! She was an incredible support and was available around the clock to help us work out all the kinks in our schedule. One of the most valuable things about the process was learning about sleep/wake cycles and how to get my little man to bed before he was exhausted. Worth every penny!  I called Liat because I was going back to work soon and my 5 month old twins were no where close to sleeping through the night.  My neighborhood friend had used her and highly recommended her.  By the second night they slept 11 hours straight! Prior to Liat, my baby boy was up almost every hour and I would have to soothe him back down.  My baby girl was waking every 3 hours to eat..i was beyond exhausted! As a twin mom herself, she knew getting them to sleep through the night AND on the same schedule would be a total game changer for me. AMAZING!! When I first contacted a Liat at MommyU, I was an exhausted mom of a baby and a toddler. While my 5 month old was sleeping through the night, my toddler had years of bad sleep habits that no matter what method I tried, still wasn't sleeping through the night. My toddler woke 7-8x a night, hated bedtime, and usually ended up in our bedroom, and had never slept past 5:30am. Liat and MommyU changed all of that. I thought I had sleep training all figured out since I had done it once before. Little did I know that my first was just easy :) I contacted Liat for just a consultation and ended up hiring her right away. She learned where my son was developmentally and created a plan that would work well for him. I could see progress in his sleep on the second night with her plan. Although my husband and I were skeptical at first, we are so happy with the results of sleep training with Liat. Our son needed his pacifier, music, rocking and holding in order to fall asleep. Our son is 7 months old and was at the perfect age to teach him how to sleep. He caught on super fast and was sleeping through the night within a couple days. His ability to sleep and get enough sleep has propelled his development and he started crawling within a couple days. The program suggested a more restrictive feeding schedule than what we ended up doing but overall very happy with the results! I cannot say enough good things about Liat and MommyU. We were referred by a friend who spoke very highly of her. Our son was not 4 months yet so we started the healthy habits sleep training. Liat has changed our household in such a positive way. For months, my baby, Charlie, was waking every 1-2 hours to nurse. We have a 4 year old and didn't want the crying to wake him, so I would nurse Charlie and rock him back to sleep. I was more exhausted than I had ever been. MommyU is an absolute must for any family! I initially worked with Liat when my 3 year old was having a rough time transitioning to his big boy bed. Bed time turned into a 2 hour event getting in and out of the bed, trying anything to convince him to close his eyes and go to sleep. Once asleep, there were multiple wake ups throughout the night, coming into our room and either sleeping in our bed or us going back to his bed and sleeping in there. I tried everything on my own but was not able to make it happen. I was exhausted and the would fear bed time because it was such a struggle. Liat helped me implement a plan to teach him how to fall asleep in his bed by himself and stay there until the next morning. Afters months of interrupted sleep and fighting him to go to sleep, Liat had my son successfully asleep in his room at 7pm and staying there until 7 the next morning! When I had my second baby, she fell victim to being taken everywhere and living her life in her car seat on the go. She was taking 30 minute cat naps and waking up cranky and fussy all the time. At night time, she was waking every 2 hours to feed or be held in order to go back to sleep. Liat came over and laid out her plan for getting our daughter into her crib and sleeping through the night. Following her advice and plan was easy and seamless. On night two of her training my daughter slept for 12 straight hours!! I could not be more grateful for her assistance and support!! I contacted Liat with some apprehension about hiring someone to help me get my 19 month old to sleep, why couldn't my husband and I just figure this out? My daughter had never been a great sleeper and we still gave her a bottle and rocked her to sleep for both nap and bed time. After a trip to New York and visitors in town for a week my daughters sleep was at an all time mess! We were letting her sleep in our bed and laying with her for naps. No one was sleeping well. Liat responded right away and we set up a consultation call the next day. 2 days later we hired her, still unsure about this whole service. Liat came up with a custom plan and was by my side every step of the way. The first night was not nearly as bad as I thought and she slept through the night on night TWO! No bottle, no rocking! Before Liat, my son was an awful napper. He would wake up after 20 minutes and would be so tired, fussy and cranky (so was I!) This review is very late but I am glad to make the time to write it. Liat was an absolute lifesaver for my baby. Liat is a lifesaver! When my 3rd child was born, the sleep deprivation was beyond exhausting and I was at my wits end. Worth every penny!!!!!! Truthfully, I had a hard time wrapping my mind around spending money on sleep training - especially since I have a 3 year old, too, and I sleep trained him with no problem. I had done it once before so why was this any different? Well, because all babies are different! And I didn't know then - but I know now - that I was spoiled with my first; he was just a super go with the flow baby who loved sleeping and loved his crib (and still does at 3yo!). Anyways, I am SO GLAD that I was able to get passed that. Liat was an absolute lifesaver and we are in such a better spot than we were a few weeks ago. Mommy U has changed my life! Before I called Liat Beer at Mommy U, I was completely lost. My baby was 4 months old and we both were not getting the sleep we desperately needed. She would keep me up all night nursing and then only sleep if I wore her in an Ergo baby. If I took the Ergo baby off, she would wake up and scream and I couldn't get anything done. Ever.
