Yes, I know they are difficult, but I was coming in to just smooth down the bridge, and I ended up with bumps and ridges after Dr Yoo revised my nose. After the nose splint came off I saw the issues but was told it was just swollen. After a year and swelling is gone this issue is 100 percent more visible!!! I went in hoping he would fix this but he suggested I get filler to smooth out the ridge he created and wanted to charge me $1,000 for that and I'd have to repeat it once a year. I was also charged $300 for the appointment because I wanted to ask about another possible procedure and instead of just talking during my one-year post op appointment I was charged $300 because I had a few questions in regard to a temporal lift during my post op appointment. DO not got to this Doctor!! He is very nice and likeable but brushes off your concerns and the office is very high pressure! It has been a horrible experience and they Nickle and dime you to death.

My mom with her ever helpful "hmm looks like it time for you to start Botox" referred me to Highly Artistic Surgery as she had been going here for years. Since I started going almost 2 years ago I have has Botox, Erbium laser around my eyes (photo), Juvederm lip filler and joined their monthly membership. Botox: Dr Ha is not going to pump you with a bunch of unneeded Botox. I have referred friends here that said they got less then they are use to getting and my mom has told me about places she has gone in the past that have given her more then she likely needed. Dr. Ha is going to give you a natural look and not try and push more Botox on you then you need. So if your goal is to look like Tim Allen in Christmas with the Kranks this is not the place for you. Erbium laser: This was recommended to me by Ashleigh Ha when I was discussing my concerns about my eyes and seeking recommendations. This is a laser treatment so there is some down time. The process can sting a bit and you will not want to see anyone for about a week. But its worth it! As you can see from the photos you can see tightening under my eyes. (this is with three sessions) Juvederm lip filler: Sorry I don't have the before an after of this. Dr. Ha is subtle with lip filler so you are not likely to have Kylie Jenner before and after lips. If you are just wanting to get a bit more fill to your lips especially as you age and your lips thin I would recommend this. Monthly membership: I love this. I have the option to pick one procedure a month from a list included with the membership (I believe you can see a list offered on their website) The membership is $99/month (at the time of writing this) and its like a nice spa day each month. They are performed by Ashleigh Ha which is an added bonus because she is friendly and fun to talk.

On my first day trying to schedule an appointment, I was told by the woman (which I've now discovered is an answering service) that someone would call me back the same day. Nope. No callback, and when I finally got one, they messaged to say, "They got a missed call from me." Not true. The second time I called back (answering service again), the woman told me the office was closed until January 6th!! This is also not true, as I just received an email this morning. Unless this is also some kind of third-party answering service? Bizarre. Overall, the whole experience was an inconvenience and waste of time. Pushing my Botox out further than necessary. I found another provider whose clinic manager personally called me to book my appointment and give me a better promo price. Just a tip: hire someone in the clinic who actually prioritizes clients and new clients. Customers can feel the difference in the quality of care and deeply appreciate good service.

What I said in my initial review remains true, even for his staff, like Raegan and Sara. I have enjoyed all my interactions with them as they are all as professional as they are charismatic and personable. 1-week post-op was stitches and initial healing. Then a 2-week follow-up. Protocol for now and for the next few months is to stop by their office once a month so that Dr. Gupta can monitor the surgery site. Of course, there will be a scar, but I can tell that it will be minimal as the months progress. Dr. Gupta has provided me with homework between my monthly visits, which is to put on scar cream and sunscreen, and protect the area from the sun to minimize -- you guessed it -- the appearance of the scarring. A good ol' bandage works, too. 5/5 would recommend Dr. Gupta and will pass along his name to family and friends. Assuming this isn't my first surgery, it's safe to say that I'll be coming back to Dr. Gupta in the future for more surgical work! Thank you Dr. Gupta and team!

In my consult where they went over the procedure, the meds, and the cost I was led to believe that this would be a positive experience. It was not. Upon arriving 15 minutes early like they asked, I had to wait an hour to be seen. When they finally brought me back into the area where they administer the anesthesia it felt like everyone was rushing. They kept talking about how many more appointments were left and clearly couldn't wait to be off. Not great for my anxiety to start. I mentioned to the consult specialist about my family history of addiction and she walked me through what i'd be given. Clearly I was shocked when the nurses say that they're injecting fentanyl and ketamine (2 drugs the consult never mentioned) and then Dr. Qaqish says "it might burn where the sun don't shine" to refer to the sensation the drugs create around the vulva. DISGUSTING. Procedure went fine but I had let everyone know I wanted to keep my wisdom teeth, shocker they threw them away. Fast forward 6 months later and I get another bill even though I was told that I had paid everything in full. This place is atrocious. avoid if you can. The one star is strictly for the cleanliness of the facility, i'll give them that.

He was the first doctor to point out how my face wasn't symmetrical due to my cerebral palsy and gave advice right away on what could be done to fix it. I also had a really difficult nose to operate on in my opinion because of the shape and severe breathing problems. He fixed my problem perfectly and made my nose look a million times better. My brow lift, fat transfer, chin implant, and rhinoplasty all turned out amazing and made my appearance much better. I'm very happy with my results and I'm incredibly thankful! I initially consulted with Dr. Chasan regarding a minor rhinoplasty to soften a bump on my nose and…read moreslightly refine the nasal tip. During the consultation, Dr. Chasan stated "Let's address the low-hanging fruit," stating that "with your eye hooding, a nose job alone won't brighten your face." I expressed concern about undergoing any facial procedure that could result in visible scarring. Having lived with a facial scar since childhood, avoiding additional visible scars was extremely important to me. I specifically asked whether a brow lift would be a better option. Dr. Chasan told me that a brow lift would not adequately address the hooding of my eyelids. I then asked for assurance that any incisions from an eyelid procedure would be concealed within the natural creases of my eyelids. Dr. Chasan assured me that I would have no visible scarring and emphasized his extensive experience performing this procedure. Based on these representations, both my mother and I believed he was qualified to perform the surgery safely and appropriately. My mother subsequently provided the additional funds necessary to add a bilateral upper blepharoplasty to my rhinoplasty. On the day of surgery, Dr. Chasan entered the preoperative room and marked my eyelids freehand with a surgical marker. Although his assistant had placed measuring instruments on the counter, he did not use them. He performed no measurements, no objective assessment of brow position, and no evaluation of eyelid laxity, although these preassessments are laid out on his website. He did not lift my brows or perform any detailed examination of the structures surrounding my eyes. In fact, he performed no physical examination of my face with his hands or any device before making the surgical markings. Following surgery, my mother and I were shocked by the outcome. The incisions extended beyond the natural boundaries of my eyelids and curved upward toward my eyebrows rather than remaining hidden within the eyelid creases as I had been assured, and my eyelid creases had been raised up into an unnatural and unsightly position. In addition, my eyebrows appeared pulled downward into a lower position and were noticeably uneven. The resulting appearance was dramatically different from what had been discussed during the consultation and contrary to the assurances I was given regarding incision placement and visible scarring. Instead, I was left with permanently lowered brows and a constant sad and tired appearance due to the altered shape of my eyes. I later learned that excess skin, muscle, and fat had been removed from my eyelids--procedures for which I DID NOT provide informed consent. My nose also appears collapsed, lacks definition, and looks nothing like the reference photos Dr. Chasan specifically asked me to provide before surgery. When I raised concerns during my post-operative appointments, Dr. Chasan became dismissive and defensive. Even after my mother insisted that he compare my before-and-after photographs, he refused to acknowledge the significant changes to my appearance. When we asked why my eyes appeared misshapen and why I had scars extending beyond my natural eyelid creases, he became irritated and stated, "I feel like I'm being attacked," rather than addressing our concerns. At no point did Dr. Chasan disclose that he had removed muscle and fat from my eyelids. I only learned the extent of what had been done after obtaining and reviewing my operative report. To this day, he has never explained why these procedures were performed or why they were necessary. I have since consulted with other specialists, who have informed me that there is little that can be done to restore my brows to a natural position. Any attempt at correction would likely require skin grafting and could create additional cosmetic issues. There is a chance that the shape of my eyes can be improved, with the initial surgery costing over $30,000. Dr. Chasan never informed me that he was going to be removing muscle and fat from my eyes, only a small amount of skin. He never warned me than my eyebrows would be permanently pulled down out of their natural placement. He never warned me that I would be left with such an odd appearance, that I wouldn't be able to fully close my eyes, and that I would be in chronic pain for over a year now. I am devastated, and my family and friends are devastated for me, by both the outcome and the way my concerns were handled. He was dismissive and refused to address my concerns. When I began crying in his office, he said "Enough of the emotional stuff!" I rarely leave my home, I am embarrassed for my family and my husband's friends to see me, and cannot take photos with my young daughters. None of us ever imagined that I would be left with permanent facial disfigurement and unanswered questions about the procedures performed. While there may be little that can be done to reverse what happened to me, I am sharing to help others.

What I expected to be a routine cosmetic procedure unfortunately resulted in a much more difficult outcome for me (photos attached). Shortly after the treatment, leaky blisters formed, and about a week later they developed into scabs on the treated areas. When the scabs eventually came off, many areas appeared indented and concerning. During virtual follow-up consultations, I was told the healing process appeared to be normal. However, my skin continued to worsen, and I later sought care at an emergency room, where the injuries were documented as burns and I was referred for dermatologic follow-up. Avalon Laser offered additional treatment options, including a CO laser session or microneedling at their facility, and also suggested that I see a dermatologist in the Los Angeles area. I did undergo one CO laser session with Avalon Laser, but I ultimately decided not to continue treatment at the clinic because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there. To their credit, the clinic checked in with me virtually on a regular basis and offered encouragement during the healing process. However, my recovery has been much longer and more challenging than I expected based on how my skin appeared. Since then, I have consulted with several specialists and undergone multiple treatments in an effort to improve my skin. The recovery process has been lengthy, painful, and uncertain. The clinic refunded the cost of the original treatment, which I appreciated, but it has not come close to covering the many additional medical visits, treatments, medications, and skincare products I have needed since then. The emotional impact has also been very difficult. For weeks I struggled to sleep and often cried at night. I became withdrawn and stopped seeing friends because I felt embarrassed about my appearance. What began as a simple cosmetic procedure has turned into a long and ongoing recovery. I attempted to pursue compensation through legal counsel and sent a demand letter, but I did not receive a response. I also followed up by email without success. I am sharing my personal experience so that others can be aware and carefully consider their options before undergoing treatment.
