Crème brûlée pancake and tres leche French toast

Both my partner and I were in a sweet mood this morning. That being said it was very extremely too sweet. Both the pancakes and the French toast. Had such yummy and good flavor though and we enjoyed anyway!!! Ordered bottomless mimosas and all the juices tasted amazing. Side of bacon was crispy and yum and helped balance our sweetness out. Very nice and cute inside. Was so empty when we arrived and it was very cleans and the employees were very sweet with us!

The food, service and vibe are a perfect combination for the beach goer or a local. The food is incredible, don't miss the steak and rice criollo bowl. You'll get two meals out of it and it's packed with protein. Breakfast and lunch is all day until 5, no dinner service.

Ambiance is so cute (lots of colorful dishware decor, service was EXCELLENT (staff was attentive, recognized we were not native Spanish speakers and spoke to us in Spanglish, and checked on us numerous times), and last and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price.

Service was good but,food wasn't worth it. Cute decor. I could've went to McDonald's or El Crillo. Got the same thing for a better price. A piece of bacon two small tasteless pancakes runny eggs, fries were good and the bread.

Great spot to hit in Aguadilla. We went the next day after arriving from WPB. It's been years since I've been here, and I remember going when it first opened up. It's still the same. The quality of food and service hasn't changed. This is a must while you're I. The area. The seating is plenty, but they do lack in parking g. I had a Bacon omelette today and it didn't disappoint. The potatoes are well seasoned and the cheese spread was so good. We will come back for a third time before we go back home.

Great Food & Portions & Friendly Service This is my island favorite for brunch. I'm the only one who wakes up early enough for breakfast in my family so it's always the brunch spot. Good sized servings for the rice and beans plates. Good custom coffees with designs on top. The mocha coffee is my simple go to while my wife likes the other fancy ones best. Good service, our first time the girl took the time to recommend a little know beach that was perfect for snorkeling and relaxing that wasn't on any maps. Nice and clean place. Parking in front or around the side of the building and sometimes they have $2 valet parking with a super friendly guy who is the valet and brought our kids a little treat cup of whipped cream and chocolate.

We came in for breakfast/Brunch while in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and must say A+ Excellent amazing food and service. Servers are super friendly and hospitable. Coffee/Lattes are wonderful prepared by super talented Baristas - La Mona coffee with hazelnut and Nutella and a Pumpkin Latte with almond milk and cinnamon. Food we had the mofongo benedicts which was so delicious. 2 poached eggs, cilantro hollandaise sauce, churrasco au jus on top of 2 breadfruit mofongo baser and pickled onions perfectly seasoned. also had the Mona Plus 3eggs scrambled bacon, sautéed potato's and French Toast with Crème Brule. The ambiance was homey, happy and so relaxing. cant wait for my next vacation to come here again super excellent, top notch in all.

Another great fine when you're visiting the West Coast of Puerto Rico. Try the crème brûlée French toast !!!! It is definitely a five out of five My breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed every bite. The food came out quickly, which was definitely a plus and I tried their brownie coffee, which was so good. Def try their signature coffees. You will be happy! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The inside is decorated super cute and it's just a perfect breakfast spot to go to!

I walked in to this beautifully decorated restaurant looking and expecting a decent meal and wow I couldn't have been more wrong. It was me against the Sweet Sampler Deluxe and I was sure that my hard hitting palette would be prevail over this flashy all razzle no dazzle plate. My first strike was countered by a slap in the face with a pancake done extremely right, followed by the clothesline of the waffle that were crunchy on the outside but soft inside and I was put in a sleeper hold by the custardy center of the french toast. The meal had gotten the best of me and had wrecked my palette harder than an Undertaker's tombstone. My wife's debut in this summer slamming fest had the rellenitos de pana that hit my tongue with some sweet chin music and burned me on first bite. Stunned by that smack in the taste buds we finished the plate and decided to go again. Yes I ordered another plate. That second plate was too much for us though and put my senses to bed faster than a stone cold stunner. We went in as champions and left full happy and needing a nap :) This place is fantastic, don't pass it up.

We visited Mona twice during our short 5 days in Aguadilla and loved it! Super cute decor, lovely servers and delicious food, plus the fabulous fancy coffees! On our first visit, we had breakfast - the puerto rican style eggs benedict and the 'Benedict not Benedict' - both were delicious, large portions, and the eggs were perfectly poached and slathered with a generous amount of hollandaise. We also had a s'mores coffee, which was rimmed with toasted marshmallow, and a nutella coffee - the coffee itself was delicious and beautiful, and the add ons were so creative and decadent! On our second visit we wanted coffees but then decided to also have dessert, so we got the brownie with vanilla ice cream - (big enough for sharing!), and a couple fancy coffees - the macaron and the m&m. On both occasions our servers were lovely, service was quick and food quality was very good. A few extra notes - while you can definitely get your coffee to go, I definitely recommend sitting down to get the full experience! Also, there is some parking directly in front of Mona, and on busy weekends, they also offer paid valet parking; we parked across the street and braved the traffic, so that is also an option.

This place is the cutest cafe, it gives me Alice and wonderland vibes. The lattes were delicious, the amount of coffee and milk was perfect for my liking. The French toast was the best I have had, the bread was thick and not soggy at all. Fruit was very fresh as well. The servers were very friendly and came up to us to see if we needed anything. I think the only thing that would suck is parking on a busy day, but glad we went on a random Thursday morning. Love this place!

A GEM! The coffee was amazing. The staff were so friendly. The decor was whimsical and fun. For food I ordered myself a cafe con leche and the Benedict not Benedict. It was absolutely delicious. The bacalaitos here are a must try. They are fried thin and crispy yet soft in the center and packed with so much flavor we ended up ordering another one for the tabchilI was thrilled with the homemade juices so for my kids we ordered carrot orange juice and pumpkin pancakes. There is also free wifi and they have a beautiful selection of locally made artisan jewelry for purchase. I'll definitely be coming here again!

Worst Service - stopped by this morning for breakfast with my hubby. Ordered 1 espresso & 1 Latte; we placed our order of Bacon & Scrambled Eggs and Steak & Eggs. After waiting for 40 minutes we inquired about our meal after seeing 2 separate customers(4 in total) who came in & sat down after us and were served their meals. After speaking with the waiter he tells us our order is coming out. But then we notice that he went to the computer and he's "now" placing our order! Then the waitress comes over to tell us that our "Breakfast Order" is "Complicated" and that is the reason it's taking so long! That's when I just Walked Out! 1. A trip to Mars is Complicated! 2. Flying an Airplane is Complicated! Steak & Eggs is not Complicated! Scrambled Eggs & Bacon is not Complicated! Lying to your Customers is Unacceptable! Especially when your Staff created this problem! Having your Waiter be disrespectful to your Customers especially when he f$%#@ up is Unacceptable! Then the waiter telling my husband that's he's lying like a 5 year is Unacceptable! At the same time the waiter is telling the owner that yeah I forget to place the order! Don't get me wrong we have been to all the other restaurants that this family owns, and this is only our second visit to this restaurant. We have never had any issue at any of the other restaurant's which we frequently dine twice a week. If this Waiter had been upfront and honest from the get go we would have stayed and waited for our meal. But when you decide to treat us in a disrespectful manner instead of apologizing for your mistake that's when I say F$# You! and your business. read more

I seriously can't get enough of this place! It's delicious and the staff are wonderful! I had stopped in here for lunch one day with my boyfriend because we had read great reviews and we can now confirm all the good reviews are left for a reason. We have came back at least 4 times since just to try different things on the menu. And so far nothing has disappointed us! We still have so many other things we both are dying to try. Their sautéed potatoes and peppers they serve with everything are amazing and you can't go wrong with any dish you choose to try. read more

My wife and I went here for breakfast. We sat and ordered lattes, one parcha mimosa and breakfast. The lattes came couple minutes later. They were very good. However, from here on is when things went really bad. An hour later we were still waiting for breakfast. When we asked, waitress said 10 more min. 20 min later no food. I finally told the waitress to cancel the order after an hour and a half. Finally my wife's food comes, but mine was the wrong order. Really? You couldn't even get my order correct after all that? I was just so turned off and upset. What really got to me was their attitude. At no time the waitress, staff or manager apologized. What kind of business are you running? With all those extravagant prices I will assume great service or at least an apology. Waitress offer to get the item off the check. What a joke! You made me wait over an hour and half, brought me the wrong food and she acted like she was doing me a favor. The manager never came to apologize. Instead I over heard her say to my waitress "he can take the wrong food for free as a take out". I told her I didn't want the food, to keep it. Minutes later they brought me the right order. By now I didn't want anything from your establishment. A dog would be treated better. I will never come to your place nor will I recommend it. You have very poor customer service. You are very unprofessional and your negative, spoiled, entitled attitude stinks! Of all places I went in PR you were the only one with such bad experience. I will give you a zero, but the one star is for the app not letting me. And when I was paying, you had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my change back? You are insane and oblivious and that tells me you can care less. read more

Hands down the best breakfast spot on this side of the island! we went here every morning this week and were welcomed with big smiles. Service is top notch and the decor is very thought out with cute blue + pink hues & lots of patterns. This place makes one of the best coffees I ever had and my kids and wife loved the breakfast here which made my morning. First stop after leaving the airport. We went for brunch, my bf orders rice beans plantains hash browns and eggs. I ordered veggie omelette. His food was good but mine was okay. The veggies in my omelette were tasteless and kind of had wei r color. They were not sautéed but looked more as boiled or something. Also there was no cheese on omelette. It was dry and over cooked and veggies were just put on there after omelette was cooked. I can make 10x better than that. Overall this place is alright, very touristy since it's next to the airport. A lot of meat on menu, few to no vegetarian options. The omelette was not listed, I asked if they can make me one since every single thing has some kind of meat. I could have gotten better at a local Puerto Rican bakery. Prices were also high. Again typical touristy place read more

This is an absolutely amazing place!!! The food is spectacular, and they are so willing to make accommodations. My group was vegetarian, which can be a bit tough, especially when we want to try Puerto Rican dishes; however they were happy to make many substitutes. The vegetarian Mofongo was amazing, the pizza had great crust and the pasta was some of the best sauce I've ever had!! Our waitress - Melanie - was the best waiter our group has possibly ever had. And we eat out a lot. She was incredibly friendly and we appreciated her immaculate English. Absolutely 5 stars! I would give it more if I could!! read more

Wish we found this place sooner!! So close to crash boat and was great! Food was delicious and fresh and it was great to be able to customize it to my liking. It was a bit of waiting for food to come out, but well worth it. The decor & style of this place was adorable and trendy. Not great. The flavor of the french toast was good but, you can't differentiate between the coconut french toast and the Crèeme Brule one, except for the sauce. The blueberries weren't fresh. My husband order the Argentino Omelette, the menu described it as having provolone cheese, but it did not have provolone cheese. The coffee and natural juice were good. The Almost Vegetarian Omelette was good, but not great. We didn't like the texture of the Velvet Pancake. About the service, the wait time was long and not organize. Actually a bigger group was seated before us, although they arrive later than us. Once seated the service was ok. read more

My husband and I had a frightening breakfast experience at Mona today. So many things were wrong about it i barely know where to start. First, Mona had its mostly all indoor tables extremely close together, was extremely crowded--and the restaurant wasn't in any way Covid safe. The woman sitting next to me was coughing without covering her mouth. It was awful. Second, the service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress utterly didn't do her job. She forgot our coffee order, forgot our food order, forgot our orange juice. It took more than 25 minutes to get served ANYTHING. Third, the restaurant never brought us change after we paid in cash, so we needed to make a special effort to ask for that and then wait to receive it. Fourth, the food cost was very expensive. Not what it should be for breakfast. Our bill for two people was $48--not counting a tip! Fifth, there's not enough available parking, so we had to pay $2 extra for valet parking in order to park our car. This restaurant has a super dangerous parking situation on a very, very busy highway. Most of all, with all of that, the staff never apologized, was really passive and rude. For my money I'm never returning to Mona. And I just pray neither my husband nor myself get Covid from the experience eating there!! read more

Service is very slow. Lets hope is because is a new place and still getting things together. Their excuse was they don't have enough people in the kitchen. If you have time to wait come and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. But make sure you have PLENTY of time to spend for breackfast read more

Very extensive menu for brunch. I ordered the Benedicts not Benedict, in my table we ordered the Meat mu Brunch and Mona Plus. All our meals were either salty(fries), or flavorless. Even the bacon had bo taste. We also ordered a hot chocolate (very cute, no flavor) and fruit smoothies (fresh taste). Long wait, bad parking. Overall not working it. read more

We constantly had to ask the server to come back to refill our water, order more drinks, and clear the table so we had some space. Our glasses were empty for quite a while, and when they came to pick up our plates, they left the empty mimosa glasses without asking if we wanted another round. On top of that, the food came out cold and had very little flavor, which was really disappointing. I'm a big fan of a good brunch spot, but unfortunately this one just didn't deliver. But I added a cute photo of our drink!

NASTY, NASTY, NASTY the French toast is soggy, they are selling cheap plastic jewelry at the front, and the ATTITUDES OF THESE LADIES ARE DISGUSTING Go somewhere else save your money, IT IS ALSOOOO SOOOO DAMN EXPENSIVE. HORRRIBLE!!!!!!!! Also they want a vaccine card to enter this nasty place. Don't go, the person that owns it owns like 3 different restaurants and they are all horrible places. read more
