Super friendly guy working the evening we stopped by. First of all, it's one of the few stores open "late", ie after 5pm (cmon Leavenworth!) but it also has everything you probably will need and want! Souvenirs tshirts and hats/beanies at pretty good prices, fun toys and books for the kids. We got some sunglasses for the kids at a great price and some souvenier stuffies. The guy working was so awesome, he asked us if he could offer the kids some candy. Obviously that makes you a hit with both parents and kids. Highly recommend stopping here! read more

Such a fun little store in the inside corner of Front Street Leavenworth! Kitchen gadgets, home linens, wine, hats even clocks! This store has a little bit of everything it seems! The store is pricey and the only thing we bought this visit was a kitchen gadget: wine opener and jar opener in one. It's made of plastic and rubber, looks easy to use and clean. Perfect! I love the fun and sassy coasters on the wall. Each one has some kind of funky vintage picture on it or a sarcastic quote. I enjoyed reading them and would love to bring a few home, but they are like $7 each. Sigh. It's a touristy gift shop in town. Since this is a German town- you will probably find cuckoo clocks around town for sale. Monaco's Corner Store is the only place I've seen that has cuckoo clocks with squirrels! So fun! This is definitely a store we enjoy visiting. The staff are friendly and seem to really enjoy sharing the latest and greatest in stock. But it's prices are so high we don't buy much. We stopped in this lovely store and bought a great bottle of wine. It was recommended and the wine sample was wonderful. We left and realized we lost my husbands phone. But where did we leave it? We traced our steps and no luck. We had to leave for home. On our way home to lynnwood my step son called. Monoco's called him and they had my husbands phone!!!! Received a call from Nancy. They mailed the phone to my husband. All i can say is this store ROCKS!!! Great people and great wine selection. Stop by and get a sample taste of wine Tell them the Benson's sent you..!!!!!! Walked in with two children in strollers. My son asked to look at the ornaments...the one thing we'd come in for...she yelled at us to not touch them and be more careful...and she and another customer joked about us, our children, and how kids never listen. We were standing three feet away from her. So, we walked off and decided to look somewhere else. Any business that's not accepting of well behaved, monitored, children...is not appealing and will not receive my business or loyalty. read more

Lots of fun knick-knacks here. Lots of wine and beer selection. There is wine tasting in the back. Lots and lots of many different and oddly looking things that I had to kinda nod my head and wonder. Just saying... I wasn't quite sure what they're really selling in terms of focal point? It's oddly designed the way they put their stuff together. That was fun though. Of all the gift shops in Leavenworth, this is the most fun. It's not the standard boring gifts like music boxes, dust collecting knick-knacks, etc.... It has lots of eclectic type of gifts. Metal sculpture of bizarre animals and such made from what looks like normal items. Wild clocks made out of odd things. Kitchen gadgets. Cookie jar piggy banks with funny sayings (e.g. "ashes of ex-boyfriends"). Great coffee mugs with funny shapes and sayings. They also have beer and wine. read more

I think this was the place that had a lot of wines for sale with a small wine tasting in the back room. We really liked the wine maker and a couple of the wines. Like supporting places like this. We didn't ever make it back there as we had just been to too many places by that point. I liked the winery though and the store itself. Very friendly folks in here. read more

I really liked this store, as it has a good selection of kitchen items and wine items, and many are unique "gift type" of stuff, which I personally like, Anyone can get themselved a utilitarian trivet or wine glass. But here you'll find funky, specialized kitchen and wine tools. There was also a nice selection of wall clocks and greeting cards which I hadn't seen elsewhere. The lady behind the counter was friendly. I wished I could have taken part in the wine tastings here, as I heard they were highly rated. read more

Beer and wine selection on your left. Gift shop section as you enter. And everyone's favorite, wine tasting room in the back! The man behind the bar was informative and we each got to try the wines, which was a nice experience. There wasn't any pushy selling of wines afterwards either. I love Leavenworth but this store is one of my favorites, they have a ton of little kitchen things that I cant resist. Their tasting room is great, we tried a great Moscato d'Asti that i am officially hooked on, but they really do have a little bit of everything. If you are in town i would recommend stopping by if you love kitchen stuff and wine! read more

In addition to the reviews before mine, I couldn't agree any more. Additionally, I usually go for the donations-only wine tasting. I'm always leaving the store at least 2 or 3 bottles of their great wines, whether it's red, white, dessert wines and my most biggest hit at a dinner... their "THE CHOCOLATE SHOP" chocolate wine. The gentleman pouring wine at the backcounter is always offering great tasts and information on the wine varietals WA state has to offer. For all wine lovers, I'd recommend this place. Very casual! And they have very eccentric gift items for the kitchen cook, souvenir items and even beer. My first stop whenever I'm in Leavenworth. read more

We spent the fall in Leavenworth this year (4 months) and Monaco's was one of my favorite discoveries. It's really the only place in town to find a great selection of wines from all regions of the world (beers too), and Mike the owner is always helpful in making selections. read more

This little shop is a gem tucked in a corner, hence the name. The customer service is second to none and the selection of wine is fabulous (we are wine snobs). On our last visit my husband and I purchased 2 wallets, one for me and one for my friend. When I got back to Anacortes my friend did not like hers. I mailed it back to them and they REFUNDED my money back to my account within one week. They did not have to do this, but did so with grace and kindness. My husband and I love Leavenworth and it is people like this that makes us keep coming back! We will always shop in their store everytime we go to visit which is about 3 times per year.
