First the roof, they did not physically go on the roof to clear the moss, instead they used heavy duty chemicals (mostly chlorine I would guess) and sprayed the roof. The unfortunate part was that the spray also went onto our plants below the roof which were severely burned. They attempted to follow the chemical spray with spraying the plants with water, but in many cases the plants got burned. The plants came back the next year, but we lost a season. The second experience was with the pavers and fence. We were never made aware that they would use chemicals here since when we discussed the service with them it was to have them power wash them. In this case, they used a similar chemical solution as they did on the roof. They did not follow with a straight water rinse on them and as a result our hydrangeas were severely burned with at least one full grown plant not likely to survive. They also got a lot of the chemicals on some ground cover plants that were killed almost instantly. We attempted to get relief from them on the price of the service, and they did rebate a small portion. However, the amount they refunded did not even cover the cost of the replacement costs, let alone the labor to have them planted. I do not complain on the efforts of the person performing the service. He worked very hard and was a pleasure to work with. I think that they just have trained the service people to perform these services this way. Their pricing for doing windows is fair, but the price for the other services (roof, pavers and fence) are very expensive. Even more so when you have to replace plants that they devastated or destroyed. Sorry to say, we are not likely to use them again for any services in the future.

I made an appointment with the above company on February 19 for a February 28 cleaning. As someone who is a supervisor and leads a team on daily basis, I completely agree on ensuring everyone is safe, especially when weather can be dangerous. In the text message the guidance given is to reach out to the company and reschedule. The very next day on March 1 I reach out to the company to reschedule. I receive a text message back two hours later stating that there is an opening on Thursday, 2 March at 12:30pm. I agree to the appointment. The day of, at 12:30pm I text at 1231 and mention that I am home, please advise when you arriving. No arrives, calls, or even sends a text. The company is a no show. I call at 1246 and no one picks up. I receive a response at 2:07pm I'm guessing from the owner since the person never identified themselves mentioning that they have COVID and have been hospitalized since Tuesday night and that there secretary was supposed to reach out to me an led cancel. I text back to summarize my experience and mention that maybe the secretary needs more training and it would have been nice to have received a phone call so I could schedule with someone else. I receive another text message that I felt was unprofessional and telling me that we are all "human" and that "this is not in my hands" and that "I have a second job, I work in a hospital, maybe I get infected there" as there are continuous apologies. Here are my concerns: 1.) When originally canceling the appointment due to weather, sickness, etc it should NEVER fall on the client to be the one to reschedule. Proper customer service entails the company reaching out to the client and making the effort to reschedule. This shows that the clients business is indeed important. 2.) The need to communicate through text message should be limited. Pick up a phone and actually talk to your client. This can help alleviate any misconstrued information and it shows your clients that they matter. I wish I could have experienced what the other reviewers experienced, however, the ball was dropped big time. I'm also in the process of moving out of my condo in two days, and this experience really didn't help.
