Upon entering the staff recognized me as I'm known as the Coach's wife and offered me a tour of the gym and specialty areas which was really nice. After my workout , I decided to hit the boxing bags for a bit before being sucked into a last minute Zumba class ( so not my thing ) I will admit it was a good way to end my workout and then I went into the sauna to woosah. I love that you can purchase energy or protein shakes and water so I grabbed a protein shake before heading out. Out of the 3 locations I've previously visited. This is the Mecca. I wish it was closer to me as the communicate was over 30 mins and tolls for me. If you live near meadow woods, hunters creek , BVL or by the loop, you're lucky because this gym is amazing !

Each and every time I visit Thayer's gym, I feel the 'hurt so bad, but oh so good' for at least 3 days! What I appreciate about Thayer is the fact that he takes his time to explain all workouts prior to the rounds and he walks around assisting people and ensuring that we're doing the workouts correctly in order to prevent injury. He's there with us every step of the way. The workouts are well-timed and at a great pace. It's a family environment there. Trust me, you will get a full body workout each and every visit and you will feel great inside and out when you arrive and when you leave.
