Danielle (who is no longer here) made us feel really welcomed here, and Chris was very pleasant and welcoming as well. Now, management has changed and fun living and feeling welcomed here is no longer a feeling for us. The amenities here are supposed to be a part of living and paying for a luxury apartment, but here that isn't the case anymore. We used the Community Room for a friendly and fun gathering for the holiday. We were given permission to use the room. After using the room we were first charged $1,000. After retaining an attorney, he advised us that there is nothing in our lease stating that they can charge us for using the room. After receiving the letter from our attorney Christy and Jasimon changed the $1,000 to $500. Which we haven't paid, because it's not valid or fair. I feel like we were targeted for them to get extra money from us for the activities that they have here. People use that room all the time, even the night before we did and they were not charged. A fact that I know! It seems like since management changed, everything has changed for the worst. Why live in a luxury apartment if you can't utilize the amenities that you're paying for? I have had two packages stolen that has still not showed up. Thankfully, the two companies resent my orders to me. This week has been the fourth or fifth time that we had to put in a work order for the microwave. It keeps cutting out, and tripping the breaker. The last time we smelled smoke. I have asked the last maintenance guy to put in an order for a new microwave. We'll see what happens or how long this will take. I pray that living here gets better and back to fun the way it used to be.

If she's not working everyone is goofing off or just laughing in the one girls office. I used to call and get a message to people but not any more. I submitted a service request three weeks ago about my faucet not working in the sink. Called about it. Said it'd be fixed by the end of the week. That was last Friday. Still broken. In short they do not have the same standards as before and it starts in that office. I don't know if it's poor management or what but they need to rethink who they hire and how they work. They are nice. I will say that. But really just goofing off in suits most days. My lease isn't over until December but I am not renewing. Not here.

This is the same review I've left on ApartmentRatings.com (6 months later, and it still holds…read moretrue!): My husband and I knew while we were living here that we had found a great apartment community, but it wasn't until we moved last week that I've truly come to appreciate just how wonderful it really was for us. So many other apartments don't seem to be made with the kind of thoughtful touches that make a place easy to live in; our one-bedroom at Fieldstone had everything exactly where we needed it. HUGE walk-in closet in the bedroom, plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen, spacious and well-designed bathroom, TV nook, washer/dryer in unit. The walls are thick; I only ever heard neighbors through our front door when they were in the hallway, or through our windows when they were in the parking lot. (Speaking of which - all of our neighbors were very friendly! Mostly older single people, middle-aged couples, and young military families.) The surrounding neighborhood is fantastic for families and dog-owners - a large park is right across the street, and lots of trails of varying length are also nearby. A shopping center with a Food Lion, sushi place, Subway, etc is a 30 minute walk from the apartments. I always felt very safe in our neighborhood - even while pregnant I would walk along the trails alone without a second thought, and I never heard of any break-ins. Maintenance always replied promptly to any requests. The leasing office was pleasant and dealt fairly and honestly with renters. Commute time through the gates of Fort Meade is about 20 minutes. Odenton proper and the strip of road across from Fort Meade don't have much to do (it's mostly just run-down chains), but the Waugh Chapel area (10 minutes from Fieldstone in the other direction, towards Crofton) is booming. There you can find a brand-new Regal Cinemas, Target, Wegmans, and tons of other stores and restaurants. If you can't tell, we miss our Piney Orchard home. Rent an apartment here for us - you won't regret it!

I've been threatened by the neighbor that lives below for moving stuff during the day when I first moved in and yelled at, and I informed the leasing office of both situations. afterwards in an attempt to retaliate against me the below neighbor complained about me back. every single time I asked the leasing office to give me the times my neighbors claimed I was making noise the leasing office doesn't give an actual time.. this leasing office doesn't actually like to do their job from what I can see and again I've been here less than three months

The elevators aren't currently working and have been down for almost a month now. I am 7 months pregnant, which makes this even more of an inconvenience for my husband and I and other residents on the 4th floor, which includes the elderly, and disabled residents. It has also been confirmed by another resident on the 4th floor and someone in maintenence that the elevators have been down before for a period of 6 weeks, (before we moved here). The property managers are emailing us with updates but it isn't helping the situation. We are currently on a month to month lease and plan to move out at the end of May but can't really give a 30 day notice because of the unknown circumstances, elevator not being fixed by then in order to move our furniture from the 4th floor. We have also asked management for some kind of reimbursement on next month's rent for the inconvenience and were told it was up for discussion. Today, my husband was told there would not be any kind of reimbursement, but "sorry for the inconvenience". The uncertainty, inconvenience along with the amount of monies each individual unit is paying in addition to us paying an extra $250 for month to month lease, on top of our almost $3000 in monthly rent (2 bedroom). You would think management would work with us a little bit more on the 30 day notice in which we are really in a bind of putting in because of the situation as well als offering some kind of compensation to the entire building not to mention all of the money the owners of the building is bringing each month! I am very disappointed with the entire situation and can't wait to move out. As you can see, it's all about the dollar dollar bill and nothing to do with customer/resident service. Concerned resident!

When this is brought to managements attention the only resolution seems to be purchasing a garage (when available) for $99. No thanks. The walls are also EXTREMELY THIN. The entire community is pet friendly and tenants may or may not clean up after pet messes. With other options available I would strongly recommend another community.

Over the last 2 weeks, I began hearing weird noises in my kitchen. I initially thought it was the ice maker, but then became concerned that it was something else. When I came home from work today, I saw a mouse run from underneath my refrigerator to underneath my stove. Mind you, I am a very CLEAN individual (slightly OCD when it comes to cleanliness). When I went to the front office to address my concern, the staff member at the front appeared very irritated. It may have been because I took my dog into the office with me. Although she is a larger breed, I see small dogs in there all the time without an attitude or issue from staff. Maintenance came to my apartment within 15minutes and provided me with 2 sticky mouse traps. About 15-30 minutes after he left, the mouse had been caught. I was initially relieved and thought my issue had been resolved but approximately an hour later, ANOTHER mouse was caught on the 2nd trap. I called the emergency maintenance number and maintenance did come back. I was given 2 more traps and told that pest control would need to be contacted and that they would return the next day. I am now up to 3 mice being caught and one that's still on the loose. When I tried to post about this issue on the resident bulletin, it was immediately taken down twice. Having mice in an apartment is unacceptable!!! I am now waiting to hear back from management in reference to how this issue will be resolved (finding how they are getting in, patching up holes, etc.) and how I can be compensated for this disgusting inconvenience. I have NEVER had an issue with mice in my entire 15yr rental history. There is no excuse!!!

(Which is a poor service) Dogs are allowed here so the place definitely has a super dog odor. Trash day makes it smell like trash for a couple days which trash day is every Tuesday and Thursday, I do smell trash Tuesday through Friday-Saturday. Then the trash man are super loud every Tuesday/Thursday morning so no sleeping in. Paying for your bill; You can to pay a convenience fee % based off of the amount you are trying to pay online with their convenient online website. Why would you have to pay more money to pay for your bill??? That is crazy.... sigh they will do either money orders or checks. All inconvenient. Maintenance orders; You can place your order online or go to the front desk to ask them? They are pretty good about checking up on any problems with the apartment. Although just moving in there really shouldn't be problems. Such as my carpet was coming up from the floor... Bathroom jacks were not working... Etc Front desk; They are super nice Do their job Friendly Only reason why I didn't give them 1 Star And why I would have gave them 4 if I didn't have so many issues already.

The second encounter was black woman who lost her keys and stopped by asking if any of us had seen her keys. When she was asked what the keys look like and where to drop them off if we see them. The woman said it's a Mercedes key ring, key fob and key to her apartment. Her tone was accusatory as if s hadn't taken them. The woman called a male who came to the clubhouse asking if we saw keys, as soon as we said no, the woman found her keys on her bag. The few people that lived here who stereotyped us as a black family was the most unfriendly experience I've ever had. We are educated, hard working and friendly people. This was the most racist experience I've in a while and I am 59 years old.
