Shedrow, a Canadian brand of dog coats is IT. Got a cute coat for my pup, and was tempted by many of their other offerings, but a girl's suitcase is only so large. This shop had a great selection of all sorts of pet products, and way nicer outerwear (Duh, it's Canadian) than anyplace I've seen in the US.

We came across Pattes et Griffes on Mont-Royal which is another chain pet store like Mondou. They had a LOT of merchandise in this location so it was quite right, and there was also a LOT of people so it was even tighter. COVID wise this was a bit of a concern but at the same time it's an essential service and I appreciate that people are so supportive of their pets and a pet store. The five stars comes from the exceptional service we received from the folks working there. They heard us taking about our cat needing a harness and they immediately pointed us to the right direction. When they saw we needed help, they came to us and helped. They even let Kimchi try on the harnesses for sizing! They were honestly so nice and we really appreciated their time. Overall, a great experience in this pet store.

Despite that very friendly and fun. I wasn't happy with their delivery, it had to be 30 dollars before tax so the items on sale were changed to full price to get to that amount. And you have to include the tip with your order and the delivery guy waited for more tip, so that was no good. That was before the pandemic, and because there are so few pet stores in this area that are so friendly and nice, i didn't want to try the unhappy delivery ever again. A really nice place to have in the area for pet owners! It's a bit tight as a result of all of the inventory they have. During COVID 19, only 3 people are allowed in the shop. The cashier has a plastic window pane but in order to make a purchase you stand a couple of feet away and you tell them the price of the product. You can then tap your card for purchase. The shop keepers were really nice and let Kimchi try a new perch! This was great because we were in the market for a new perch. It was pretty affordable, and they gave us a brand new one in a box even though Kimchi had tried it. They were also so nice to Kimchi in general and had a lot of questions for us about having an adventure cat. She was even allowed to walk a little bit in the shop, but we quickly put her back inside her backpack when we saw a dog come inside.
