I wanted to wait a few months to review this place but I can't wait any longer. I do want to be selfish and keep this place to myself, but I'll be nice and share with Yelp. I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal and found Diana's salon in central Phoenix/Biltmore area. Good reviews and fair prices. I wanted to do my underarms and see how I liked the treatment before I proceeded to do any other body parts. First impressions: office is located not too far from the 51 and a lot of the parking is reserved, but I can always find a spot and walk a bit. This is a multi office building with other salons, massage parlors, etc. It smells great from the hair products and it's a clean space. Meeting Diana was lovely, she's a wonderful lady who is chatty and friendly and prides herself on her work. I had to fill out some paperwork before we started and she explained the process to me thoroughly. Getting my underarms done was quick and fairly painless, which surprised me. I also haven't had any side effects or sensitivity. She uses a cold laser that feels nice in the summer, gets a bit chilly in the winter but nothing unbearable. Diana is efficient in her work and she keeps you occupied as she does it. I always feel comfortable in her office and asking her any questions and she is honest to a T. I've enjoyed my results so far and added parts as I went, which Diana is flexible about and accommodates me accordingly. Always sends a reminder the day before your appointment too, which is very helpful. Once again, hesitant to share this hidden gem but I really do want to help Diana and her business since she is such a cool gal. 5 stars! read more

If you have given laser hair removal any kind of consideration I recommend you get in here asap. I did a lot of research and finally pulled the trigger here but wished I had started so much sooner. Diana is incredibly friendly and doesn't sugar coat the process like other salons will. Plus her prices are amazing! She has great availability and follows up with a reminder text the day before your appointment. I have had multiple areas treated and while some have shown results right away others take more time. Diana was very upfront about this. But regardless if some of those areas ever become completely hair free there has been tremendous loss of hair. So overall I am incredibly happy. I know for some pain is an issue. However, I haven't had any issues with her machine. Every few visits one or two spots will be more tender than others. I guess I'd describe it as feeling like a slight slap from a rubber band. My only comparison is an at home laser remover which really hurt. So I am more than happy to entrust Diana with my laser needs. read more

Diana is amazing! She has great availability so making something work with your schedule will most likely not be an issue at all. She is super friendly and loves to chat with you about what's going on in your life. It definitely helps distract from the zap of "more sensitive" areas. The space she works in is very clean and well kept. If you never had laser before, I highly recommend it! It save so much time from having to shave and dealing with razor burn and ingrowns. She starts by giving you protection glasses to block your eyes from the laser. Then, she puts a cool gel on the area being treated. The amount of time it take for her to go through the area depends on what you are getting done, but she is really quick. She is very thorough though! If you ever notice an area has a straggler, just let her know the next time and she will do an extra lap through that section. She is honestly the greatest. I have had people in the past who would be annoyed with me for saying anything. She will text you the day before your appointment to remind you that you have an appointment. She is also really good about getting back to you via text. I have never tried calling her. I have recommended her to a friend from class who has already gone to get treatments and she loves her as well, so come check her out!! She has great package deals available! read more

I just had my 3rd laser hair removal session with Diana and have had less hair regrowth than my 6 sessions at another studio in North Scottsdale. Normally I would assume the effect was cumulative but a substitute technician at the North Scottsdale studio might have accidentally confessed that a lower level was used due to my sensitivity to the laser and I had used a Groupon. :( Back to Diana: I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is very sweet, professional, has awesome general life advice and very organized with appointment reminders. The salon is easy to find but just make sure you enter the salon studios entrance closest to 24th street. The actual studio is very clean as is her equipment. If you see a Groupon/Livingsocial, I would definitely grab that if you've ever debated laser hair removal treatment as it was a great deal and significantly more affordable compared to what I have seen online. And just a tip for anyone who denies themselves laser hair removal because of sensitivity: Ask your PCP for a Rx: Topical lidocaine/prilocaine and apply a copious amount 15 minutes before the procedure. It definitely helps! Although you might not need it with Diane's treatments, I continue to apply it. If anything, it provides a little placebo effect. ;) read more

Bye Bye, Ingrown Hairs! * * * She is a sweetheart and truly cares about your satisfaction with the treatment. She has excellent bedside manors along with the ability to comfortably maneuver the COOLING SENSATION laser around the areas I want hair free! Amazing results with this woman. I refer EVERYBODY to her and now have several friends getting laser hair reduction. As far as the price: She is VERY FAIR- especially compared to waxing... you spend 6 sessions with her. Waxing takes YEARS. It's not rocket science, Ladies. You'll be saving SO MUCH money and you're getting incomparable results. I would still recommend waxing AFTER laser treatments maybe once every 3 months to get rid of the "fuzz" or lack thereof... with waxing it grows back blonde and takes forever to come back after waxing it out of the folicle- WHEN DONE WITH LASER TREATMENTS. read more

I've been going to the lovely Diana at Monet Salon for laser hair removal on my legs. After only the 2nd session, the change in the amount of hair was HUGE. After only the 3rd session, I really have almost no hair on my legs. She is METICULOUS in her lasering, and let me tell you - that makes a huge difference in results. I've had laser elsewhere and never saw these kinds of results even after a full 6 sessions! This is partly bc of the quality of the laser Diana uses, but it's also bc she truly is meticulous and thorough in lasering over each and every inch that you've paid for. Whereas at other laser clinics, they're sort of haphazard and sloppy in making sure they truly are lasering the full area of what you've paid for - and that lack of attention to detail results in missed hairs! I will never see anyone else but Diana for my laser hair removal - she is just wonderful. Not only is she highly skilled at what she does, but she is a lovely person to chat with and has a great personality / energy. Finished 6 sessions of face treatment and started underarms and 1 month into that I noticed most of my facial hair was gone, but hair growing in places I didn't have hair before. Diana says, now its time for maintenance. So don't expect permanent hair removal for the 6 sessions you paid for on Groupon. Next I started full lower body, after my 1st and 2nd session, I was hair free. Got to my 4th on legs and 3rd on upper torso and my underarm hair started sprouting. Diana says, right but it's not as thick. Well yes, but its coming back. Not sure if any of this was permanent, but my next trip is to a Laser Hair Removal salon. Unless you really love seeing her and adding the expense of maintenance visits on finished areas, I recommend looking into another option. Not sure if this has worked out for any other reviewers as their reviews were in the beginning stages or right upon completion. After some online research, I found a few articles that all hair removed with her type of equipment will return after 5 to 10 years. Now my leg hair is returning, yes, I do admit it is not as much as I had, but after 18 months I call it quits. Cost: more than 1k Results: returned hair growth on completed areas. read more

I've been going to Diana for my Brazilian and underarms and I'm at the end of my treatments! Seriously I can not rave enough about her and the cooling laser technique she uses! Diana is such a sweet person and makes you feel so comfortable in her suite. I told my mom and sister about this and my mom was so skeptical at first and after a month, I think she bought a few more treatments then she planned for. Very pleased with my laser results! I have one more laser session left of the 6 I scheduled and I have very little to no growth left in my bikini area. I was super nervous as I have waxed for years and had heard laser is way more painful, well I can tell you I wish I had never waxed! She's professional, knowledgeable, her treatments are almost completely pain free and she's reasonably priced!! I will update this review in the future, but I wanted to let people know that, after 1(!) laser session on my legs, I can already tell a significant difference with hair regrowth!!! Overall, I'm a pretty hairy girl (thanks to my double middle-eastern genes). My hair regrowth, especially legs, is ridiculous--if I had time, I would need to shave my legs twice in a row to get exceptionally smooth legs. It has been 3 weeks since my first appointment, and it's amazing how much less hair I have!!! I can go for 3-4 days without shaving (and probably could go longer, if it wasn't summertime). I am very eager to see what the following sessions will bring. Just an FYI, I have had laser hair removal on two other body parts, and even after full sessions for each part, I still have hair regrowth. There is something different about this laser! read more

This is the best place ever! I recommend it to all my friends. I am hispanic so my hair is thick and dark. When I used to shave you could still see the hair beneath my skin and it never looked like I actually shaved. Now I can go days without shaving and my hair is much thinner. I have had 3 treatments on my legs and two on my armpits. I wouldn't go anywhere els. And to top it off she has excellent prices. I never thought I would ever be able to afford laser hair removal, but she makes it so easy. She's super sweet and so wonderful to talk to.
