My initial call the Union Bank employee explained what I had to do to stop the automatic debits from my account. They included send the product back and call a phone number tell them to cancel. I did and she made notes and stopped payments on her end. She returned my money . It happened again. I called union bank. This new woman did not take the time to understand me or listen. Unfortunately for me I could not find the booklet I wrote my notes down in. Though she had hers. To make a long story short. This woman reversed my refund charged me $200 dollars and double charged me for the two deliveries . I ended up with nothing. No cream because I sent back the first two items and refused the second set of packages. I filled out a complaint form. I had just inherited money from my family. I talked to the guy I gave the complaint form to at Von's as they had a small bank inside the grocery store. I swear once I mentioned the inheritance that I had invested with a different bank I don't know for sure but I think he denied my complaint. Strange because if you checked my story against debit deposits and notes from staff it would have been quite apparent I was telling the truth. Big banks doing what they want to and for whom they please. I just gave up. No one cared and no one bothered to look up case let alone get back to me to discuss it. At the time having for the first time in my life an abundance of money it sort of settle to the back of my priorities. I could kick myself now. The only reason it came back to me after all this time where I buried the bad experiences it's my mental safety net, the state of California wrote me and said there is a check I believe it may be funds from when I walked away from the account. Anyway I have to call the bank for $ 140 they supposedly sent me years ago. I can't find the notice and the number on the notice went to a regular Union Bank and I need a corporate number. Still the run around and out $400.00. No I would not recommend this Union bank. Try Chase they provide a much more personalized experience. They take the time to look things up and have always remembered who I am as they retain employees for years. Must be a good place to work for you future bankers.
