Dr. Eileen Quillin refused to address this matter herself on the portal even after several attempts. She kept forwarding me to a nurse, who was less than helpful and rude. A week and a half she argued with me. I guess the Banner Health mission is not followed by staff. This was the first huge win. I arrived at the date/time as anticipated for my appointment. I was greeted in a friendly and sincere manner by the front desk. There was a glitch with the payment system and the receptionist profusely apologized. This was not necessary. Technology comes with challenges at times and I completely understand. No sooner did I sit down to start paperwork, and the MA came out to get me. She was kind, polite, courteous, and had a genuine interest in my healthcare and medical condition. She was very thorough and assured all information was correct and complete. Then the provider Brandon came in and changed my whole life. He recapped all the information my PCP, who is also part of Banner, sent to him. Reviewed the information the MA and I completed together. He had 90% of the picture from the front. We filled in some gaps and he reassured me he would be getting me my medication. I left with loading doses of medication in hand. Also, a prior authorization was completed within 24 hours and medications were at the pharmacy for me. Brandon and his MA (Abi) are a team that are unstoppable. They have genuine sincerity and compassion for human kindness and promoting health. I have never had such an amazing experience. I am honored to have a care team that exudes only the best for their patients. I cannot say enough kind words about these folks who technically saved my life in a time of turmoil due to lack of medication and treatment at another local medical organization.
