I have been getting my lashes done for about 5+ years now and have been through a couple of lash techs in that time. I have moved to the Seattle area in the fall of 2024. I came to Mongs lash lounge for a foreign lash fill and when you first come in it feels very clean and welcoming. Mong did my lashes honestly better than my lash tech from my hometown that I was going to for years, I have the best retention with Mongs work and my lashes can last up to 3 weeks and still look wonderful. I have been coming to Mong to get my lashes done regularly since. You can tell Mong what type of style of lashes you want and she can give you exactly what you want if you want a style change. Update: Mong ended up texting me the next day to ask how my eye was doing. I explained in text what happened and sent photos of the cut/sensitivity. She was apologetic and very sweet about it! Today, almost a week of applying ointments like I was told to do to heal the cut, I realized that the extensions in my inner corner came off. I texted Mong to see if I could come in for a touch-up and within 5 minutes, she had me scheduled with Tuyet during the afternoon with no additional charge. When I got there, I showed Tuyet the missing area, she tapped my eye (super gently) and got started. I told her and Mong that all I needed touched up was my inner corner on my one eye but I think she touched up everything that needed it on both eyes because it looks different but better than when I came in (and even better than when I first got them done!) Mong and Tuyet were both so sweet and Tuyet was very gentle with my eyes and making sure I was okay. Maybe I just caught them on an off day last week? Either way, I am glad my review can match the other postive ones that this business has. read more

Lash tech was kind but the quality of the lashes were not good. Not sure if it was due to poor application or the glue used but my eyes burned the worst they've ever hurt. I had to call of work and ice them intermittently cause it hurt to even close my eyes. The lashes themselves felt very stiff and shedded in less than a week. Fortunately I went on vacation the same week and was able to get an appointment elsewhere to fix them. The lash tech that fixed the shoddy work removed the rest of my lashes and redid them. I feel like I wasted over $200 at this place. Please look elsewhere. read more

Tuyet is amazing!!! I've been going to Mong's for 4 years and transitioned from seeing Mong to Tuyet due to availability. After today's experience, I wanted to write a review. I've always wanted to get my eyelashes done and have researched places in the West Seattle area. I saw this place on yelp and decided to finally try eyelash extensions. I walked into a beautiful and clean place. I was greeted and sat down. After signing some paperwork (regarding the service about to be done and covid), I was really to get my lashes done. I was a little nervous because this was my first time ever having them done, but I was excited. I told Mong and Tuyet that this was my first time and that I wasn't sure what look I wanted. Mong pulled out samples of her work and described the types of looks. It felt good to understand what lashes were what and what looks I could get. I took those looks into consideration and told them what I wanted. I tried to describe what I wanted and hoped my lashes would come out great. Tuyet did a great job while doing my lashes. She was gentle and made sure I felt comfortable. When she was finished, I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror. It was the look I wanted! before i talk about mong, one quick sentence about me: i get overanxious about people touching my eyes because of all the gruesome possibilities that google shows when you type in "lash extensions possible side effects." that said, Mong is the best i've met! i came to Mong after trying out 2 other lash stylists because every single friend of mine jumped on the Mong bandwagon. i can 1000% see why, and it's for these 3 reasons: + her lashes have incredible sticking power. usually after an appt, i lose about 4-8 lashes easily by the next morning, and thus feel like i have to be paranoid about anything--including a light summer's breeze--touching my eyes in fear of losing one of my precious lashes. but i can wash and brush my lashes and they just stay on! i go in every 3 weeks and mong is always impressed with how much i've still retained. i tell her it's all herrrr. + she takes her time and is meticulous about every single strand. my other stylists tend to prick and hurt me, leaving me with tears rolling down my face, but she's really gentle and steady. + she writes down everything from your last appt and knows exactly what you've been liking, and even after an appt is over, she'll ask if you notice anything weird that you want her to touch up. you don't feel rushed to leave right away--she's thorough until you're satisfied.
