I have been to a couple different lash ladies in the Seattle area. I have started lash extensions in the summer and I feel like I could not find anyone on time, reasonably priced, or not enough lashes/retention. April has been doing my lashes for a few months. She is very gentle and always leaves my lashes looking fabulous.

I had such high hopes for this place and was very disappointed with the outcome. It was my first time getting lash extensions, I did my research and chose this place based on the reviews. The salon itself was very clean and I was quickly brought back to the lash station. The overall process itself wasn't bad as the tech applied the lashes and took her time. In the end when I asked about buying lash cleaner and tips on washing my lashes, she had responded by saying we can talk about it next time. I got the vibe that she really didn't care to spare a few minutes to go through these things with me. The following days I started to loose lashes. I was hopeful that this wasn't a bad sign but as time went on after my first week I noticed a vast difference in how many lashes were left. I ended up making another appointment with a different salon at then end of the first week. The tech there was very surprised when I told her about my last of lash of instructions for cleaning. I ended up spending more money but it was worth it. I also bought her cleanser and some lash serum. She told me that the extensions I had were too heavy on my lashes which caused them to fall out faster and that the inner lashes were too long. Overall this salon didn't meet my expectations, and I had to spend the extra money to find better outcomes elsewhere Edit--- The salon owner reached out to me to help resolve this issue, she offered to give me a full complimentary set of lashes and to do them herself. This is my favorite place to go to. I have never been so obsessed with a lash place until now. I've tried a lot of new places and other non-licensed lash technicians but I always run back to Studio Velle. 1- The number one reason I always come back to this place is because they use a waterproof glue. The glue will dry instantly allowing you to wash and shower your face right away. The glue they use is very strong so my lashes have lasted over FIVE weeks before. You can also use oil-based face washes & other stuff you wouldn't be able to use with regular glue. 2- The customer service here is amazing. If you don't like your lashes, you're able to come back to get them adjusted to your preference. They also work around my schedule since I work an 8-5 in DT Seattle. They'll stay open later or come in on weekends to make sure I get my lash fix. They'll also get back to you right away which is super convenient. 3- They recently moved into a bigger studio so there's plenty of parking! You can also stop by the stores nearby for a quick snack while you're waiting. There are also refreshments in the lobby you can have while you're waiting. 4- Everyone here is amazing at what they do. When Angela was on vacation, I went to another lash technician and she also did an amazing job. Overall, I think the price is worth it for what you're getting. Some salons nearby charge over $200 for a volume set. I also have eczema so my skin is SUPER sensitive. Thankfully, this glue only stings my eyes and not my skin. Tips: - Try to wait 24 hours if you can before washing your face because there might still be stinging. I also feel like this will help them last longer if your lashes haven't dried yet. - Take very good care of your lashes by washing them with baby shampoo if you can't afford their lash shampoo. - If you have weak eyelashes, try not to do volume because they might be too heavy. Buy their lash serum or any other serum to help make your lashes stronger & healthier before trying volume lashes. I would also recommend using the lash serum regularly so you can keep them healthy. - It's appointment only so don't expect a walk in. read more

The ratings match the good quality of service this salon has to offer. Upon entrance you're greeted by staff, the look of the place itself is absolutely aesthetically pleasing. I normally only get my lashes done when I'm about to go on vacation. I've gone to many lash artists and have only really gone back to one or two of them. I was referred to Studio Velle by my coworker who has been telling me about this business for awhile now. I booked my appointment with Lyn Salvador a week before my trip to Vegas. Lyn did an amazing job with my lashes. I booked for a volume set. She asked me what I style I wanted. I asked for a wispy falsie look and that's exactly what she did for me. I couldn't believe how full and beautiful my lashes looked. You can see for yourself how pretty they turned out! She used 11-12-15 D curl lashes on me. I normally have sensitivity to the glue lash artists use and my eyes will get bright red after. The reaction would go away after a day or two. After my lash appointment, my eyes didn't have a reaction to it even though the lash glue and fumes felt really strong during application. Which is fantastic! I told Lyn that my eyes are sensitive and she took extra time to dry the glue for my lashes. She was very patient and sweet! I will continue to see Lyn for my lashes and I'm very excited to see what my lashes will look like next time! Thank you Lyn! The studio itself is easy to find, clean, cute, stylish and smells nice! Found this gem of a lash salon on yelp! So glad I did! They're conveniently located with plenty of parking. I did get confused when I went up to the entrance of the building. The doors were locked. (This was on a Sunday btw) Luckily someone was coming out. The salon itself is among many other small salon suites of sorts once you enter the building, it's rather neat! The salon itself is very cute and cozy. Atmosphere was nice. Once there I was greeted by Hien. She was more than customer friendly. She went over the service I originally booked giving more information about it. I admit, I booked it blindly, it was my first time. At the end of it, I appreciate her honesty because she ended up saving me some money! Makes me believe they do care about their clients and the service they provide. I know I'm going to be the first outlier review but I want to be informative . Angela's final result is amazing, no doubt about it . It was everything of my dreams and wants , but the after was much more difficult for me. My right eye began watering like I was crying for 1.5 weeks until I decided that it must be the lashes making them do that. I kept denying myself Bc I loved them so much . I had a lash technician take it off so that I wasn't just blaming her and ripping it off myself . The glue was difficult to take off, which is a good thing Bc it really did last long... but the glue was literally attached to the skin of my eyelids . The technician could only take so much off until she said the few are so close that she was afraid of stabbing me ... I ended up ripping those ones out. My right eye never watered again from that time on. The expertise of how the lashes were placed were unfortunately not the best . The fans were not fans or they would be sticking out in every which way. I will attach pictures on what I mean. [edit] I know this is not the work of my previous technician - the lashes I've seen fall off never come off in these types of clusters (see pictures ) This is based on my own personal experience - a person that has tried every beauty regimen on myself, which include strip lashes , single lashes, fan lashes, and even actual lash extensions on myself .
