Monica is office partner with Mark Gerard, and both are exceptional medical doctors. Dr Sarang filled in for Dr Gerard when I had brain surgery a while back. Seeing a friendly face as she made rounds at Providence fence St Joseph's hospital on Dr Gerard's days off made me feel like I was well-cared-for. My wife and three daughters all see Dr Sarang now, and everyone is healthy and happy. She and her caring staff are the best. It's worth the wait to get into their concierge care. read more

I'm writing because not only do I think Dr Sarang is an amazing doctor but her staff is sweet, kind, super helpful and efficient. I have read previous reviews and agree with dr Sarang's old front office. This is when she was in a different office and shared staff. I too had the same experience and did not return for years. Thankfully I gave dr Sarang another try because I knew what an exceptional dr she is. Dr Sarang is smart, extremely organized, an outside the box thinker and has great recommendations of specialists if you need someone. Dr Sarang is extremely bright with her thumb on the pulse of all new innovations. She's caring, concerned and treats you like a friend. She starts appointments around 7:30 AM so you can go before work . Because she is a concierge doctor, she sees less patients in order to be able to spend more quality time with each of her patients. Dr. Sarang is great. I started going to her about two years ago after I finally admitted that I was too old to keep on going to my pediatrician. My mom and aunt go to Dr. Sarang as well so it was an easy transition. She already knew half of my medical history. I probably go to the doctor about thrice a year - once for the check-up, two other times because I'm sickly. Every time she remembers details of my life, not just my medical history. She asks about my family and seems to really care about what I say. If you are looking for a new GP, I would definitely recommend Dr. Sarang. read more

I had moved out of LA and had not seen Dr. Sarang for almost 7 years and she not only remembered me but all of my medical conditions and even the name of my husband and dog, and she no longer even had my chart to refer to! She is not only an excellent clinician but a warm, and caring human being. And she runs on time and is super smart. If you are looking for a great primary care doctor or aren't really happy with your current one, I encourage you to make an appointment. After several years and several physicians I finally found a doctor I can stick with. 2 words to describe Dr. Sarang would be "genuinely concerned". She is extremely thorough and wants to know everything about you and your family history. The first time I saw her was a for a simple annual physical. Her thorough examination resulted in her referring me to an ENT which ultimately let to a surgery that would change my life for the better. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 4 years ago and I saw several doctors all of whom were useless in helping me treat this problem. Because of Dr. Sarang's referral and the surgery I received, I am no longer using a CPAP machine. Aside from her attention to detail, Dr. Sarang is also very friendly, easy to talk to, and isn't shy about telling you the truth. The only quasi-drawback is that she is very much in demand so booking appointments are a little far out - but she's worth it. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Monica Sarang for probably the last 8 years. She is amazing! She can tell something is not right by just looking at me. She knows me that well now. She always asks about my friends, who are also patients of hers. She also asks about my personal life, which she obviously knows 8 years of. I know she truly cares and is very sincere in her conversations. She remembers everything about me without looking through my chart, which is huge. And she has always referred me to the best specialist when I've needed them. Actually, when I was at St. Joseph's hospital across the street about to be admitted for a scheduled surgery, I saw her in the hall of the hospital. She said she was there for coffee. It was so comforting to see her and know she's be across the street at her office. She also has the most amazing staff. And she's young so it makes me feel comfortable. read more

She is the doctor everyone should have, and she's so popular there is now a waiting list to even become her patient. I agree with the review by Chef A. I have been trough two serious aliments with Dr. Sarang and I can't imagine a better doctor than her. I have been seeing her for 10 years over and wouldn't think of going to another doctor. I feel totally comfortable with her and her staff. They go above and beyond. She has an excellent bedside manner and is very funny as well. She is very thorough in her evaluations of aliments and checkups. I have complete trust in her judgments pertaining to my health and preventative health. I couldn't say enough about her as far as a recommendation...my fear would be she might get too many patients ; ). read more

I'm writing this review not based on the Dr. but her staff. At first I called up to ask if they take my dad's insurance and the gentleman who answered was nice and told me they do. I then realized after I hung up that I forgot to find out what type of Dr. this is because the call was for my dad not for me. When I called back a woman answered and appeared not concentrated on my conversation. She told me that this Dr. was not accepting new patients at this time can she take a message for me to give to the Dr. I was quite happy about this and said "oh yeah that would be great as alot of places are telling me the same thing" so she asked for my name, I gave her my name and began to explain to her that this call was actually for my dad who was seeing another Dr. in the same building just on the floor below, she cute me of very rudely and said "What's your name ma'am!" I told her you know what that's ok you are too rude for me I would rather not leave any information with you, I just told you my name. She appeared surprised at this and said "ok" and that was the end of that. She obviously didn't care at all what I was saying and was not listening, in fact had to cut me off! I'm sure from the reviews this Dr. is good however I never had a chance to get my dad's message in, and you know it all starts with "FIRST IMPRESSIONS!!" if the staff can't be nice it makes you wonder if they even care about your situation. How very sad!! I'm sorry we never had the pleasure of meeting this Dr. as the reviews about her are good :( If there was 0 stars for the staff performance I wish I could give that. read more
