The inside appearance is wonderful. The small dining room is small and quaint. So, let's talk pizza because that is why we are here. Well, wifey talked me into the Spaghetti and meatball pizza. (Wifey: "It was a meal all wrapped up in a slice!" ‼) Seemed a bit odd.... Well, it was! But, a delicious odd! What a unique specialty pizza to put together. They also have a few others most definitely worth coming back to try. We loved the place and will be returning soon to sample other things. Anyway, we should have stopped by sooner, but, we got here. Our server was really pleasant and helpful and she kindly hooked us up with side salads even though the kitchen part of the restaurant was closed and it was down to late night pizza service! The service was like the only reason they were there was to keep each other company. How can you be a business if the things your customers want are "out of stock" and the one that was there was so old that it was congealed in the mustard packets? Very disappointing. However even after a speedy delivery and spending $67 plus a generous tip, the breadsticks we ordered 13.99 for 12 cheesy and 6.99 for 5 regular, were 1. Soggy with butter and 2. Ice cold. Us, being broke college students figured we would soak it up with a paper towel! We were able to squeeze a breadstick and watch butter drip off of it in a steady stream. However... it only turned us off from seeing just HOW MUCH BUTTER was on the breadsticks. We replaced Mariana with garlic butter but that came in a SEPARATE CUP. So, i decided to call. The call started with me explaining that there was a pool of butter in the tinfoil, and the bread was not edible. It was explained to be that "that's how our breadsticks come" and "99% of our customers know that's how it comes and love it." I was to blame, for trying a local pizza place. I explained that we didn't know- I was talked over, and down to. He kept explaining the same thing to me so I said I understood but I still wanted the partial refund. Fist he offered to send a whole new box out to us and TAKE the old one. Which, working fast food I know you don't do. I said no, because it seemed redundant and likely would cost them more in gas, ingredients, etc. he put me on a brief hold, then came back. He said he would "meet me in the middle" and give us $12 back on the card. Which doesn't even cover the big box. I said no, and said "is $21 going to make or break you guys?" He first refused to give me his name- saying it was "none of my business". I explained that I WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE and know that I am allowed his first name (I offered to drive out if needed) he then said his name was Jim, and that he was the manager. I don't believe it strictly because of how absolutely baffled I am by his lack of decorum, his attitude, and the fact he went round and round blaming me for something that I don't know. The person who ordered has now been blocked from the website to order in the future. While we don't remember everything said I'd like to add that I am very rarely rude to workers, because I am a part time service employee and KNOW how hard it is. From jump, Jim was rude and condescending while trying to also tell me that he was "trying to make the customer happy"

I walked in to place an order at the counter and there was nobody there, but they yelled back for someone to come to the front. This girl came up very friendly, ready to take our order, and then in mid sentence of us ordering the manager Ken comes over and berates her in front of us for working the register because she is not supposed to. Then she goes to the back because he told her not to take our order and then he walks away and we are still standing there. A few minutes later someone else comes up and says that she can't take our order and we have to use the kiosk. We finally just walked out. I am writing this review mostly because the behavior of the manager to berate an employee for trying to help in front of customers, and then walk off without making sure we were helped is completely unacceptable. I feel bad for the girl who came to take our because she was just trying to provide customer service, and instead got reprimanded for it in front of us. She was a delight and I hope she finds a place that values her helpful attitude. Update: I have been back here many times since then and I can say the staff is very friendly and gives excellent service and I have not experienced anything bad since the night I wrote that review. I've personally interacted with Ken since and he has been pleasant and helpful. I perhaps encountered the team on a bad night but I can say things have been much better on ever following visit.
