We were recommended this place by a family member and he really hyped up the pizza! The pizza was... okay. However even after a speedy delivery and spending $67 plus a generous tip, the breadsticks we ordered 13.99 for 12 cheesy and 6.99 for 5 regular, were 1. Soggy with butter and 2. Ice cold. Us, being broke college students figured we would soak it up with a paper towel! We were able to squeeze a breadstick and watch butter drip off of it in a steady stream. However... it only turned us off from seeing just HOW MUCH BUTTER was on the breadsticks. We replaced Mariana with garlic butter but that came in a SEPARATE CUP. So, i decided to call. The call started with me explaining that there was a pool of butter in the tinfoil, and the bread was not edible. It was explained to be that "that's how our breadsticks come" and "99% of our customers know that's how it comes and love it." I was to blame, for trying a local pizza place. I explained that we didn't know- I was talked over, and down to. He kept explaining the same thing to me so I said I understood but I still wanted the partial refund. Fist he offered to send a whole new box out to us and TAKE the old one. Which, working fast food I know you don't do. I said no, because it seemed redundant and likely would cost them more in gas, ingredients, etc. he put me on a brief hold, then came back. He said he would "meet me in the middle" and give us $12 back on the card. Which doesn't even cover the big box. I said no, and said "is $21 going to make or break you guys?" He first refused to give me his name- saying it was "none of my business". I explained that I WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE and know that I am allowed his first name (I offered to drive out if needed) he then said his name was Jim, and that he was the manager. I don't believe it strictly because of how absolutely baffled I am by his lack of decorum, his attitude, and the fact he went round and round blaming me for something that I don't know. The person who ordered has now been blocked from the website to order in the future. While we don't remember everything said I'd like to add that I am very rarely rude to workers, because I am a part time service employee and KNOW how hard it is. Great pizza. Probably one of the best pizza places. Only downside they aren't located everywhere.

Although this is the only pizza place that sells calzones, they know how to make them. This coming from a former Chicago resident.

I am a native decaturite that moved away 30 years ago. I try this when i am in town a couple of times a year. The prices are good and if you like a thiner softer crust you will like the pizza. They also have a good sweet surge style sauce. Topping amount is what you would expect. I always pick up and they have it ready on time. Always like to get a pizza here every now and then, this is the goto place for our pizza after hours when we're in the mood for a late night pizza snack and our favorite pizza place is already closed. Staff here is friendly and quickly gets your orders ready for pickup. Thin crust pizza and good quality cheese, they cook the pizza just right with a little bit of a crispy crust on the outside of pizza but not burnt. Ordered 2 large pizzas, ended up with what looked like cheese soup. Drove the pizzas back and after 15 minutes of arguing with the manager, he insisted that all he could do was give us new pizzas (which was going to be another hour). They would not refund our money, so we left the pizzas on the counter and left. Never going back again. read more

I liked the cheese, the medium thickness of the crust, and that they put the pepperoni underneath the cheese. I've tried to give this place many chances. We used to be really faithful customers I mean ordering every weekend..but these last few times I have been really disappointed! We asked for well done and three times they have not done so. When I called to complain the manager seemed not to care at all. Ordered a pizza waited 55 minutes for thin pizza to arrive .when it arrived 1/2 the pizza was burnt the entire pizza was rock hard you could have used it to build a brick house left more than half of the pizza as it was not edible even a knife could not cut the crust (brick) doesn't $39 for something you could not eat. I am new to Decatur and searched on line for a place for pizza and tried Pizza Factory. The person that took my order asked for my phone number and address three times and sounded confused the entire time. Once 2 hours passed, I called back and asked for a status on my order and the man that answered the phone told me he was too busy to deal with figuring out where my order was then hung up on me. I called back three times and the same guy answered and asked if I ever made a mistake before and told me to call the owner the next day and that he was too busy to listen to me complain. I could not believe the way I was treated. The food was good once I finally got it however don't order for delivery. I am a business owner and could not believe people operate like they do. I ordered my pizza and after 60 minutes I called to find out we're our order was. They told me they left 20 minutes ago another 6 minutes went by before it was delivered.
