I see Dr. Bianca and I will just say that everything is top notch. Not only was my pain addressed, my blood glucose level started coming down naturally. I was on 3 medications and insulin. A couple of days after my second session, my glucose monitor went off in the middle of the night. Normally this happens when I have eaten something I shouldn't have and it was spiking. But, no. It was too low! Not believing it, I check with my finger prick monitor and it corroborated the reading. I was shocked. I have since stop one of my medications, cut one in half, and cut my insulin in half. I am very excited to continue treatment to see how much I will be able to come off of. Oh, and yes, my Fibromyalgia is doing better but I am more excited about the improvements in my diabetes. Dr. Bianca is very caring and knowledgeable, I am so glad that I decided to try acupuncture out. Wish I could give more stars.

She recommended many supplements which I ended up purchasing from the practice, before doing my own research (that was my fault). Unfortunately, the follow up was a different story. When I mentioned the side effects I experienced from the supplements, there was no acknowledgement. Furthermore, I was suffering with a very significant headache and needed some stimulation in addition to the needles. When I inquired about this (since other methods of stimulation have been very effective for me with my previous acupuncturist in Houston), I felt very dismissed as the provider was quite eager to exit the room. At the end of the session, I was asked if I'm feeling better and when I was honest and said not really, the response I received was "do you do anything for yourself besides coming to acupuncture?" When I answered all the ways in which I practice wellness, the answer was "okay we'll see you next week" and was out the door before I knew it. Felt quite dismissed and not listened to, and unfortunately will not be returning. I wasn't going to post this review, but a few days later, my pain was getting severe enough to warrant driving to Houston in the middle of the week to meet with my previous acupuncturist who has been consistently attentive and helpful. I was reminded of what truly good bedside manner is and how important that is, not just because we pay a lot of money, but because it impacts our quality of life.

Then my confidentiality got broken somehow when one of her BFFs who was a CPS worker happened to get in my life and they talked about me without any form of consent. In fact, half of the shit were lies or exaggerated info and Sophie took it upon herself to not believe me. That was when I exited that practice. I also remember when I was pregnant, I wanted to get off Valium due to the effects to pregnancy. I had been on Valium for over 20 years at that time. They dropped me SO fast and unsafely. I was prescribed 10mg 3x a day which is quite high. Then they detoxed me in about 4 days. It was ROUGH. I had major panic attacks to the point of driving to them begging them to do a slower taper or give me a one time dose. They wouldn't do so. They also won't see you without a card on file or paying first and they charge you for every little damn thing. I don't know why after pregnancy and birth I came back to her.
