I was at Monkey Joes on Tuesday, April 14th and watched her talk to children in the most disrespectful manner .. when another parent spoke up and told her she should speak with the parents not the children she then berated the parents and called her all sorts of foul names. Watching this take place was mind blowing .. as an OWNER of a business I couldn't imagine that she would open her mouth to say the things that she said. The only reason I keep coming back is because my kids love to run around and with friends here. However, I always dread going because of several reasons. It's very dirty, and I don't just mean germs, but there is so much trash everywhere (floor, inside the jungle, under and behind all of the arcade games). Last time I went, I spent an hour walking around the whole place picking up trash. The water fountains have mold. The bathrooms never have toilet paper. Half of the arcade games don't work and the ones that do steal your money oftentimes. The inflatables are ripped in so many places with leaking air and are taped up wi the bandages. Water bottles are not even allowed so we have to go up to the counter every time we are thirsty and ask for our water bottles. The TVs are not on for the grown ups and the WiFi is lousy. The staff act like they don't care about their job and the extent of their cleaning is walking around with a broom once every now and then. I would love to see this place completely renovated, updated, deep cleaned and restored with NEW inflatables and arcade games like Mario Kart. I would not recommend coming here. Will I return? Good place for kids to run round indoors. It's nice and cool which is good and the gate in the front is locked so kids cannot escape. There are mostly inflatable slides and playhouses, a climbing structure with different tubes and a front area of pay as you go games. It is a bit loud due to the air pump keeping the inflatables up as well as the kids screaming but that's to be expected. The birthday room in the back worked nicely for the party we were with. What could make this place better is making it cleaner in general and adding staff to watch the areas for safety purposes to make it on par with other indoor gyms in the area. read more

According to the back story, Monkey Joe is a furry purple monkey who lived on Coco-nutty Island. One day while climbing he slipped and fell but instead of getting hurt he ended up safely bouncing. He had so much fun bouncing that he introduced it to his other monkey friends. They all had so much fun bouncing that he decided to open Monkey Joe play centers so all of his kid friends could bounce and slide too. The company was founded on 2004 as Jump n' Joes Parties and Play. There are now locations in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. I recently attended the Monkey Joe's in Coral Springs with a sumner camp and was pleasantly surprised. The kids really enjoyed it. It is way to hot to be running around outside with a feel like temperature of 106 degrees and the air conditioned Monkey Joe's allowed them sufficient room to expend some energy. The large open room has a concession stand serving pizza, hot dog, and chicken and drinks. I tried a slice of the pizza, definitely frozen and on par with what you would get at a water park. There is also a game room, toddler play area, toddler bounce house, large bounce slide, two bounce obstacle courses, and the kid's favorite, Monkey Joe's Treehouse, a multi story climbing structure with tunnels, monkey rings, and slides. Around the perimeter are a number of private party rooms, each with a bouncy throne chair. The playroom was very clean and I saw multiple staff members patrolling the floor as well as Monkey Joe himself who stopped for pictures. The equipment is for kids up to 12 years of age, adults aren't allowed on it. Most kids are $10.99 for walk in play while toddlers are a little less. Adults are free. You can purchase frequent jumper cards if you plan on going a lot, When you need to entertain young kids while beating the heat, this is the perfect place foe monkeying around. read more

This is the first time I've visited this location. My daughter was invited to a birthday party here. If you blink too hard you will miss it. It's next to a supermarket and the signage was a little hard to see. The parking is crazy since this Monkey Joes is in a plaza type situation. The parking lot is packed with cars and constant people walking to and from. We had to park a little ways down so if you're trying to arrive for a party on time, make sure you add extra time for parking. Once inside you have entered the jungle... the place is filled with things to do for the kiddos, from the inflatables, to the game room, there is even a toddler play area. The party rooms are spacious. The pizza was ok. The chicken tenders were actually pretty good. The staff was attentive to the party goers. There is multiple seated areas for the adults, and adults can enter some of the inflatables with the kids. There are plenty of cubes to hold shoes while the kids play. Socks have to be worn to play so bring your own so you don't have to buy. Since we were apart of a party I don't know the cost of anything because we had the game card all the inflatables, pizza, drinks, chicken tenders included in the party! Which I have to say shout out to the parents for the invite and the great time my daughter had! This location is GREAT.. We got there on a Saturday morning 30mins after they opened and wow it was clean, big, and all around bright and colorful. So many things for the kids to do. We saw 3-4 birthday parties do their thing. Lots of kids running around. The only sucky part which I get why they had to do it, no water bottles or drinks for the kids. We cannot bring our water bottles in. They do offer FREE soda fountain WATER (purified) unlimited refills. The manager is super nice. If you are a first time customer before you head over there sign up for their newsletter. Then you will get a BOGO admission. It helps when you have multiple kids. Today came here for a play date with my daughter, signed the waiver paid the entry fee as I was waiting for my fellow Playdate, mom and daughter to arrive in the front lobby area, I was sipping on a protein smoothie as I am on a very serious medical requirement and need to eat every three hours. And was informed no outside drinks are allowed in I said okay no problem I'll finish it and leave my cup in the car. Finally, shortly after the other mom and daughter arrived, they as well signed in and we went to the table started to chat for about 15/20 minutes while the kids played and a staff member came up to my table, (same one as before)harassing me about my water bottle! Said the owner wants you to put it away your drink , now. And I was so confused and perplexed because every other table in there had brought their own thermos of some kind and what was mine any different !! and I said it's water you guys are really harassing people about water??? I called on Tuesday to get prices for a birthday party. Spoke to two different employees, one identified as a manager. I received package information and optional additional fees for having a birthday party. I was told by the manager it's best to come see the space and book in person. So I arrive on Thursday and start to discuss the package I'm interested in by price, $379 (that I received from the manager via phone on Tuesday) and the employee continues to discuss the package by the company name for it and goes over all the specifics. Tells me I can check out the room. Very accommodating and pleasant. After I agree to the details and book the party I am handed a receipt showing the final price of $507. No additional food, with the exception of 2 possible children over the 8 children party allotment. Not warranting an increase of $128. She explained after accepting my $100 deposit, that there was an increase in the price that went into effect on Wednesday. After I explained that I was upset, she verified the manager I spoke to on Tuesday and brought her over to explain they knew there was an increase of prices coming but that they didn't know when it would take effect. She never disclosed that information to me Tuesday and the employee never discussed that with me when accepting my deposit and booking a party. When I asked if they were honoring the prices given within a reasonable amount of time-such as 48 hours, they told me that they were not. And I was told that the owners had previously given the same response to a potential party client who had the same situation but was less then 24 hours since the prices of parties had changed. I am most angry because the greeting employee didn't identify the change in prices when I referenced the party package by price or known that since I had called on Tuesday I had the previous pricing. Why waste my time? Cancelled my deposit and will not be giving them my business, furthermore I won't give them my patronage or recommendation of this establishment going forward. For me, I'm this spot lost a star because the staff didn't enforce the rules of no adults in the play space. There were 7 grown adults in there at one point, and the toddler space was TIGHT. We have been to Monkey Joe's around 20 times over the last 3-4 years. We have always brought our own water bottles for the kids. Today this troubled looking guy approached me at the table and said I need to throw the two water bottles we had out or put them up front. He literally picked the water up from the table and asked me to decide. His eyes were really red and I'm not sure if he was handicapped or something. Either way this sad man must have felt really good about himself for how enthusiastically he was about taking water from children. Our kids love Monkey Joe's. It's a little easier with them, because they are a little older. This last visit we had my Godson with us who had just turned 4. He is a little guy which makes it a bit harder. The way the openings are set up are completely in opposite directions of the others. This makes it hard to keep up with the kids as they want to go from one area to another. There are no workers outside of the bounce areas keeping the kids from running so it feels like constant chaos. Also, since we had never brought my Godson we needed to sign a waiver for him which took a ridiculous amount of time. On the left, someone was checking in parties, and on the right there was one guy with only one old school computer and the process took forever. That whole situation needs a serious process improvement! Very inefficient. This is an okay alternative option. The smaller kids definitely get knocked around more in the areas where the bigger kids are moving at what feels like light speed just knocking into each other. read more

Monkey Joe's just discriminated against my 3 year old daughter who lives with Celiacs Disease. My family and I just left Monkey Joe's with great disappointment and disgust. We went to celebrate the birthday of a close friend's daughter. One of our daughters, who is 3 years old, and cannot advocate for herself, has Celiacs Disease and cannot eat the cake or pizza served at the party. We brought her a slice of gluten free pizza and personal lunchbox with alternate gluten free snacks. We were told by a staff member that outside food was not allowed. We informed her, that our daughter cannot ingest gluten due to her autoimmune disease. That staff member, being a celiac herself ( based on what she shared with us) said ok, she can keep it. But then returns and said, that per the manager, her boss, it was still not allowed. Monkey Joe's did not offer any gluten free alternative pizza or cake for purchase. This should be something for them to consider when enforcing their NO outside food policy for customers who for health reasons cannot ingest the food provided. Monkey Joe's should educate themselves on autoimmune diseases and be more sensitive not to discriminate. read more

For a parent this is absolute chaos but kids truly love it. We were there for a friends daughter birthday and all the children definitely had a blast. There was even an area for toddlers. It would have been great if the staff had stayed at the entrance to this area to keep the big kids out instead of me having to tell other people's children to leave. Seems like the staff leaving the toddler area is a long time problem. Not an issue if you don't mind kicking the wild kids out yourself. It was clean but could use some new chairs. We took our 11 month old son yesterday. The toddler area was so dirty. There was no one taking off shoes before entering the area excepted us. There was small trash around the corner that my son almost took it in his mouth. Some toy had drink stain on it. Although they did had a sign for taking of shoes and no food or drink inside but no one really came to check it nor did cleaning. The bouncing also old and dirty. Some of it was air leak... Looking for a fun place for younger kids? This is the place! It's cheap and you can get deals with email updates subscription. There around these bounce, climb houses that they can have super fun. Too bad it's only for kids, I would love to try it with my baby cousins. My baby cousins love playin here! If it's the weekend or super busy, there will be staff at each bounce place to 'watch the kid' but they're mostly standing there. Make sure your kid is wear t-shirts and pants/shorts here. Definitely wash hands after playing because you can easily get germs here. If your kids don't want to place there, there is an arcade. The arcade is pretty fun. I had fun playing with my baby cousins. Most games come with tickets. There is a claim a prize on the side. Some are pretty good tickets amount deals and some aren't. Definitely cheaper than Dave n Busters. My boyfriend and I love getting the invisible ink with cheap amount tickets here. You invisible ink disappears once it dries up. You can have your kid have a birthday party here. They have fun activities on side in the classrooms. They look pretty fun. There is food but it's mostly pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, chips, and ice cream. Please watch your kid no matter where they are and/or even if the staff is there. Another one of those children activity places. We only came here at the request of our grandchildren. We lucked out finding a Groupon & saved an additional 20% using Groupon's discount pass. So for about 31 dollars, brought 3 grand children. Each received, entry to jump on various air filled moon bounce, slides, & other jazz. Each received a small bag of popcorn, & small soda. As well as 5 dollars charge card. Here's the catch, each of the machines @ the very least is a dollar, some 2 & even 3 bucks a try. That is a bit costly. Never the less, the children enjoyed their time here. I will say there are nice lounge chairs for the adults to sit & wait on their children. In addition there is free wifi, so we brought our laptop & watched movies waiting for the kids to burn their energy & scream along with the other children. As that is what children do.. Not the best & not the worse. Open in the summer until 7 pm. Unfortunately the website as well as the person I called & asked both said 6 pm.
