I've been to a lot of gyms, and this one is absolutely top-tier. The staff is amazing too--there's a lady who walks around cleaning like it's her own home. The place is spotless. And the crowd? Every time a weight hit the floor I would get an evil stare and then eventually got reprimanded. It's gym not a museum right lol? And no I wasn't throwing weights around being disrespectful. I was down in Florida in July 2025 for 2 1/2 weeks and wanted to try this place because it was new. So I bought a one month membership for myself and my wife and then asked to freeze the account until we come back down to Florida since we live in New Jersey. We did everything through a gentlemen named Mac who understood our situation that we wouldn't be coming back down until the next year. I got billed the next month accidentally and he refunded me and apologized. At that time I asked him to take my card off file. Fast forward to January and I've been getting billed the last 3 months after several phone calls with the owner and emails sent without a response. Today was the last straw as I called AGAIN to have my card removed and to be refunded. I mentioned that I'm going to have my bank reverse the charges and he started calling me a jack ass and saying why don't I come and say this to his face because he felt "threatened" and will sue me if I do it. I can't say enough awful things about the people here except for Mac who actually doesn't even work there anymore probably because he was nice. The fact that I asked several times for the card to be taken off file and it hasn't been is severely alarming. Anyone that is traveling and thinking about Joining beware. They told me something completely different than what the contract said. Stupid me for taking their word for it and not reviewing the contract. Not keeping your word says a lot about a business. The gym is beautiful though.

Last time I was there, I counted 7 trainers, w their clients, at the same time, within about the same 50'. The gym isn't big enuf for this and it's obnoxious. You got 7 trainers standing around chatting and generally just getting in the way, then another 7 clients, each taking up 3 machines/stations at a time. Don't ask to work in with them bc they're entitled and bitchy and the trainers are even worse. Add to that, each trainer n client apparently NEEDS to carry an ENORMOUS gym bag, purse etc. The sign saying 'no gym bags on the floor' is only there for the irony, as many bags are placed RIGHT below it‍ I wish this place would revert back to when they cared about ALL their clients, not just the ones with a trainer. PS- they also need about a dozen more bottles of cleanser. 3 bottles for the entire gym is a joke. That's probably why the place is always dirty. They get 1star bc I had to, in order to post this.

You can have a very large class size and don't feel like you're on top of each other. The coaches are super friendly and they are attentive to every customer. They keep an eye on every client's performance and makes sure you follow correct posture and form throughout the workouts. This is a big deal to me cause if you don't do these types of workouts correctly you are susceptible to injury. HEW coaches don't lose a beat. They remember everyone's names and keep the environment upbeat and fun. This keeps me coming back for more. The location is large, clean and includes ample parking, full bathrooms with showers as well as a kid room where parents can bring their toddlers while they workout. If it weren't for the fact that my job is located down the street from HEW I would've never discovered it. Hopefully a Miami location? A girl can only hope.
