$20 minimum for credit card purchases

Kids had a blast, but a few things bothered me. There are two giant play structures, but one of them (the 'tag arena') was closed, effectively cutting the capacity and activities available by 50%. They also have signs up at the concession stand that there is a $20 MINIMUM for credit card purchases. Ridiculous!!!! Luckily the staff did not enforce it.

This review is based solely on the facilities. I did not try the food. Based on the other reviews though it isn't great but I can't knock until I try it. So there may be an updated review in the future. Lol. Have been waiting for a place like this to come to Gresham! Not sure exactly how long they have been here but we just caught wind of their arrival. The place was very clean and everything seemed new. Prices in my opinion were average contrary to the outrage in other reviews. Ten dollars per kid for entry seems pretty fare to me especially when I'm sure some parents literally spend the whole day here. They have to make money somehow- especially if you eat beforehand like we had. The neat part about this place is that it is connected to a Kung Fu class! As part of their birthday packs you can get a 1 hour lesson of Kung Fu for your party of up to 16 kids. How cool is that? Definitely considering this place for my kid's 3rd birthday. Will definitely return.

    Nice place for kids.

Good place for kids to play. Lots of play sections which separated by the net. $8 for weekdays. $10 for weekend. Kids food is ok, reasonable price. The restroom is clean and good size. The food is good. What I need to see for improvement is the check in process must change to make it faster, much faster than now. The owner is real nice and polite. I like that.

    Overcooked french fries

They change their french fries. The new fries are thinner and they were way over cooked. Taste like chips. My kids didn't eat them and they love fries. I brought it up to the worker she said they are supposed to be like that because they got new fries. No, fries are not supposed to taste like chips. I think they got their cooking time wrong, probably still frying it the same time as the old fries that they had which was thicker. Owner please check your cook time with your workers and teach them because they are over cooking the fries. Or just bring back the old fries they taste so much better. I brought it up to another worker and she was more understanding with my complaint and my advice, hopefully she passes it to her employer and employees.

We were not disappointed in the slightest! Most of the park is up on a hill which if I recall correctly is an extinct volcano. The reservoirs are very cool to look at and walk around at. We went to three of them and I believe that is the total number that aren't decommissioned but there once was five reservoirs here but two are decommissioned. The reservoirs were once used for drinking water but now serve primarily as a scenic and historic feature which it most certainly is! There is all kinds of paths you can walk around in and even minor hikes of a urban sort if you want to look at it that way as if you want you can walk uphill for quite a while. If you roam around the park you can see beautiful views of downtown Portland which is very enjoyable to see. I definitely recommend visiting this park and it has the appeal where it will attract tourists and locals alike as it is just that kind of a special place!

I tried coming every year to catch the blooms for past 5 years ( I was either too early or too late) but Wow, this year I finally caught the blooms. My heart is filled with Joy! I have a LOVE for Sakura/Cherry Blossoms. Tom McCall Waterfront Park sure brings back wonderful memories when I visited Portland for the first time during my daughter's college day, very beautiful park! Tom McCall Waterfront Park if for Governor Tom McCall is about 36. acres with a view of Williamette River in downtown Portland, bordered by RiverPlace to the south, Steel Bridge to the north. Did you know this park used to be 6-lane highway, activists held picnics on the tiny riverfront walkway in 1969 to protest the lack of public space. Gov. Tom McCall formed a task force, Harbor drive closed in 1974 and the park opened in 1978. Besides annual cherry blossoms this park has trails, salmon street springs, monuments, various festivals, protest, events, are held here. Near by to Portland Saturday market. Parking is very limited, either street parking or private lot. I can't wait to visit Tom McCall Waterfront Park again, with or without cherry blossoms or for Fall, foliage- I hope to catch the blooms again next year! same time, same place, I loved to be back!

Portland's Saturday Market is hosted on the weekends (March until December) on the northern end of the park, right next to the Bill Naito Legacy Fountain. There's also other festivals that use the park as the grounds. I've heard that the cherry blossoms in the spring are very pretty, so I'll have to return for those!

The $276 bill had a ledger filled with false charges and just months later was $3635 Their attorney told me if I didn't pay they would increase it by hundreds of dollars every day and they would foreclose on my home which they were already legally entitled to do. Mountain Park HOA is overseen by the same attorney at Tanglewood. This law firm routinely has a business model of going after the homeowners they represent and foreclosing on their homes. In my case, a $276 bill was falsely escalated to nearly $3700 which does not include the court fees and other expenses I incurred in trying to figure this out. Although mountain Park knew it was an innocent mistake, they refused to allow me to pay them and work with me directly. They knew just how much the attorney was charging me, and had no compunction in moving forward with a lawsuit to take my home. Further, they have done this two dozens of people in the last 10 years. It is my sentiment that the mountain park HOA should be disbanded/dissolved by the owners, and the land and clubhouse donated to the city for tax break for the residents here. The attorney over this HOA would not want this to happen because these HOA's are their stocked pond. They specifically target people who own their homes, and have no way to fight them--low income. My housing experience here has been utterly cruel and in no way does it reflect fair housing. HOAs don't have a great deal of regulation in Oregon and so they get away with things like this. Also, my neighbors, aren't aware of what they did to me--so now you know. At a minimum, an exclusive club would send you an orientation, or maybe even leave a nice welcome basket at your front door, they would be polite when you called them, and they would work with you. Instead, they showed me the utmost cruelty and put me in a dire financial situation--as intended. Let's contact the city manager and ask them to help us donate the land. (503) 635-0215

It was seasonal but it was free to skate there because of local donors. There were always multiple staff who skated around the rink to make sure everyone was safe and guided people around those who had fallen or were creating unsafe situations for all the skaters. The figure skaters only practiced in the middle of the rink that had cones around it to prevent any public members from confusion and entering that space. You were asked to follow the direction of the skating and not go against the flow. There was a mandatory break halfway to clear the ice. This rink is a far cry from that. Skating is honestly a hazard here! I had to check in mid skate to see if I was still in public skate because there were so many figure skaters on the rink doing whatever they wanted. Skating wrong ways, blocking the path, zig zagging between skaters, all the things figure skaters do.I had a few almost run ins myself. I don't understand why public skate can't be a fun time to skate around and around without worrying if you're going to have a head on collision with the figure skater. I felt really frustrated because this wasn't the first time that I've come here and had this happen. Can there be a designated time for the figure skaters to practice? I get it.. share the ice but when it's a literal free for all it's hard to predict where to skate and stay safe. I'm familiar with how to stop safely but for newbies this is really unsafe. I want to take my nephews here but is there a time when it's truly a public skate?

On a sunny day, in any month, the view is just spectacular. You can see both Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens from the beach area. You do you and everyone else will do themselves. It all works. As you drive down NW Raider, you will pass the Island Cove Market. if you haven't bought a permit to park, stop here to get one. It's $7 a day or $30 for an annual pass, well worth it. Don't neglect to buy the permit, they patrol frequently and will fine or tow!!! Anywhere along this several mile stretch, park your car to the left and walk through the various marked paths to the right. When you walk through the clearing, you will be delighted by the sight of a decent sized white sandy beach, the river sprawled out in front of you with views across the water to the grass and trees. Plus Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood standing proud. It's stunning! And so peaceful. There are no bathroom facilities. This is Sauvie Island and it's not built up or commercialized.
