This store is spacious (one level store) which offers a good selection of sporting goods, equipment, athletic apparel, outdoor gear, footwear, camping, and fishing gear. This store does not carry firearms. This store opened to the public on October 30, 2019. I was here last Saturday for the official Grand Opening celebration with giveaways, drawings, and a special appearance by Rob Ninkovich who I was able to meet later in the day. I was one of the first 100 customers in the door at the special 8am opening time and was given a mystery gift card, which was found to be valued at $10. There was plenty of staff here willing to assist customers. Dick's sent me a $10 off $25 purchase coupon in the mail for the new Manchester, NH Dick's Sporting Goods, which I definitely will be using to buy my next pair of sneakers. The regular prices are slightly higher than other discount retailers and the sale prices here and online are very competitive. Dick's also offers very good coupons via Sunday flyers and mailings The Dick's Scorecard (loyalty program) allows you to earn points for reward certificates with each purchase. Over the years, I have purchased many items from Dick's such as sneakers, boots, footballs, jerseys, lids, coats, ski goggles, hockey pucks, gloves, and camping supplies. This Dick's Sporting Goods store at the Mall of New Hampshire adds another local brick & mortar shopping option for sports and outdoor gear. This store is competing directly with Olympia Sports next door and Modell's on South Willow Street.

Walking into Card Czar felt more like stepping into a Porsche showroom. Everything is clean, organized, well-lit, and thoughtfully displayed. The lighting really stands out too. It's bright, inviting, and makes the entire place feel energetic without being overwhelming. What really blew me away was the selection. Individual cards, boxes from all kinds of brands, sealed cases, memorabilia--you name it. If it has anything to do with sports cards or collecting, chances are they have it there. And it's not just crammed into shelves either. Everything is laid out in a way that makes you actually want to take your time and look around. The staff are another big part of what makes the place special. Everyone is friendly and clearly knows the hobby well. The owner, Luke, has created a really fun environment for collectors. There's a huge screen TV, awesome memorabilia around the shop, and just a great overall vibe. It feels like a place where collectors actually want to hang out for a while, not just run in and buy something. I've been to plenty of sports card shows with multiple vendors over the years, and honestly this one place feels more impressive than a lot of them. My Mom would still buy me clothes at TJ Maxx, some I liked and would wear often, others would sit in my closet for years. Over the holidays, I now receive TJ Maxx Gift Cards, which are very useful and lets me choose what I want and still get the bargains. Presently, I've found some good deals here on dress shirts & pants, athletic wear, and polo shirts, and a lot of Izod apparel. I take my time checking out mish mash of clothing on the clearance racks which are organized by size. TJ Maxx also stocks toys, housewares, kitchenware, handbags, jewelry, snack food, Harry& David snacks (discounted prices-YUMMO!), and a lot of cool clearance items. I ended up walking back over to Kaitlyn because she knew what I was looking for. Kaitlyn was so incredibly kind and patient that I did not feel rushed or pressured. As a longtime customer of Alec's Shoes in Nashua, the experience I had today was incredibly…read moredisappointing. Over the years, I've spent thousands of dollars there and referred numerous family members and friends because I believed they stood behind the products they sold. Unfortunately, that trust is gone. I purchased a pair of Clarks on May 9th specifically for an upcoming vacation. After wearing them ONCE to dinner, I realized they were too snug and needed a wider size. I returned to the store June 9th with the original box and receipt, fully intending to exchange them for the exact same shoe in a wider width. The only issue? The soles showed the slightest amount of wear from being worn once. Despite the fact that I was requesting an exchange--not a refund--and despite what I believed was compliance with their stated return policy, I was told the shoes were no longer in "new condition" and could not be exchanged. How exactly are customers supposed to determine whether a shoe is truly comfortable and fits properly without wearing it beyond a few steps in a store? Shoes often feel different after an actual outing. Refusing to exchange a pair that was worn once for a few hours is an unreasonable policy, especially for a retailer that charges premium prices. I have never minded paying more for quality footwear and good customer service, but this experience demonstrated a complete lack of flexibility and customer appreciation. They clearly don't value their customers and don't care about anything other than making that initial sale. There are plenty of other shoe retailers offering the same quality products with much more customer-friendly return and exchange policies. After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent, I can no longer recommend Alec's Shoes and would caution others to carefully consider their return policy before making a purchase. If you wear the shoes even once to determine whether they actually fit comfortably, don't expect any accommodation if they don't work out. **I was so surprised by the way they handled the situation that I took photos of the exchange to share with this review**

In the market for a new Hoyt target compound after being away from the sport for several decades…read more Made a phone call before driving over and while they did not have the exact model I'm hoping to buy in stock the gentleman who answered the phone was courteous, welcoming, answered my questions before encouraging me to drop by. Arriving at the shop I found a densely packed pro-shop that tended toward hunting rigs (which is not a bad thing....it's just a reasonably well stocked shop in need of a bigger space that is stocking what the market demands) and a multi-lane indoor 20 yard target range. The man behind the counter was with another customer but greeted me promptly and indicated he would not be long. (If I had a penny for every gun/hunting shop that completely ignored me upon entry.......so this was a welcome turn.) Noticing there was another customer in the store a gentleman who had been on the line shooting set his bow down, and introduced himself as the owner and shook my hand. He too was extremely helpful, answered my questions and offered some qualified advice after learning the "target/competition" direction I was leaning toward. Basically I got a very good vibe from the owner and his staff and was assured if I purchased my bow through them I would receive a full compliment of expert tuning and fitting services as well as 2 months free access to the shooting lanes. I feel confident that I found the best full service pro shop in the Northeast Region. Lots of places can sell you a new rig but most leave you high and dry when it comes to providing expert assistance with fitting and tuning. Super glad I dropped by Big Al's. Next step is a short appointment with the owner to check a few key measurements (draw length etc.) before we place my special order for a left hand 2018 Hoyt Prevail. If my first impression was typical of their service I'm looking forward to doing business with them. (I'll provide updates once we get the bow in and I have a chance to work with them on fit and tuning.)
