Seating for the event was tight, made me wonder what the capacity code is as even I, under 5'5, had little leg room. Think airplane rows, very tight. Felt bad for taller peeps. The band was great, all had solos throughout the performance and gave their own version of each song. You could feel the energy in the room and I wish the show was longer than and hour. Didn't partake in any drinks, so I can't speak to the bar service.

If you're coming here definitely do yourself the favor and Uber as parking is incredibly difficult to find there. Getting in is very quick and efficient and once you're in you're greeted by live music and a fun open space to get drinks and hang out with friends. There are multiple different places to get drinks from which is nice as you can choose how long you would like to wait in a line. Drinks are not unreasonably priced and they were good as well. The ability to sit throughout the area, get up and dance, or just listen to music makes this a great spot to stay entertained for a while. We came when there was an event being put on by Zyn where they were giving out free drinks to nicotine users which was funny because why not get you hooked on nicotine AND alcohol. But seriously, there are typically food trucks and more things going on here but the Zyn trucks took up those spots which was a bit of a letdown but we're assuming that's just a one off event. Between a good band, decent drinks, and a good amount of seating options, this is a good spot to sit down with some friends and just vibe out for the night. We'd give it a recommendation if you're looking for something fun but not too much fun on a night on East 6th.

Nope, it is not an art gallery as the name implies. It is located upstairs above the Continental Club on S. Congress (a tattoo parlor separates the two venues). You literally have to look on the opposite side of the building to see the club's name. This small, intimate upstairs room offers a completely different experience from the Continental club. It has space for approximately 40 people. It feels like you are sitting in your living room listening to a concert as there are three sofas at the venue with high bar table and chairs in the background. The Gallery features jazz, soul, and R&B music genres. Tonight's headliner was Miles Zuniga, an Austin based singer, songwriter, and guitarist, best known as a founding member of the rock band Fastball. The band achieved major commercial success in the late 1990s with platinum selling albums and hit songs such as "The Way" and "Out of My Head," and received Grammy nominations. Zuniga and his guitarist played for Continental Club Gallery guests. He had Bruce Springsten sound to me. We enjoyed his music.

I saw a mix of post-rock and sexualized shock industrial that was utterly memorable. It was one of those South-by-Southwest nights that you remember for the rest of your life. You may or may not be lucky enough to get bands of that quality on regular weeks. * * * The space and bar are functional and do what they have to do. They have nice clean bathrooms with appropriate privacy. This is a major contrast with their next door neighbor - Elysium. They have one single space with no remarkable nooks, crannies, niches or rooftops. Lots of clubs in downtown Austin have nooks, crannies, niches and/or rooftops. But if your band is good, a single space is all you need anyway. There is not a lot of seating - but they have enough if you really need it. They have a minimalist but adequate bar. What I drank was not memorable but it did the job. * * * Whether you love or hate the 13th floor will depend on the bookings. But the physical facilities are decent enough.
