My most recent experience, however, has ensured I will never return. A couple of days ago, I bought cigars but didn't stay to smoke due to time constraints. When I returned to enjoy one of the cigars in their lounge, the same employee who sold me the cigars berated me in front of other patrons, insisting I buy another cigar to use the lounge, despite my recent purchase. When I politely reminded him that I had bought cigars just two days ago, he rudely responded, "I don't care if you bought a box two days ago, you can't be in here if you don't buy another cigar today." While I understand establishments have rules, the way I was treated was completely unprofessional and humiliating. A polite reminder would have sufficed, but instead, I was yelled at and made to feel unwelcome. I will not be returning to L&B Cigars and will take my business elsewhere where respect and customer service are a priority.

As I was inspecting some of the cigars I was interested in buying, I noticed that every cigar I picked up felt hard and stale...and I was having a hard time finding one that felt slightly spongy and fresh like I prefer. At that moment, the idiot store manager with glasses (I believe his name is Rick, based on other reviews I have read) says, "My man, please only squeeze the cigar you are going to buy to avoid damaging them." I let him know that I was gently squeezing them because I was trying to find one that was not hard as a rock and stale...he then told me that these are all "premium" cigars and that I shouldn't be "damaging them for the next person. " I put the cigar down and walked out. After being a regular customer for several years, I will never shop there again. It seems that not only their product quality, but also their basic customer service skills need a lot of improvement.

John is wonderful and very knowledgeable of cigars! Extremely friendly environment as most cigar communities are. The humidor is full of everything from just a few dollars per stick to the bougie high end dollar stash! Great selection from major brands and some stuff you may not know about yet! There is a very nice lounge with ample seating, 2 HD TV's, and all the accessories you need in case you forgot something. The new art work on the wall is beautiful and ads to the vibe of the lounge. Sooooo Hennessy came out with their Very Special Cocktails!: Hennessy Berry (a cognac based berry…read moremojito), Hennessy Rita (margarita-inspired) and Hennessy Ice Tea. Pennsylvania didn't carry them, so I drove out to this location specifically because they had them in stock. I placed my order through the app, and it was ready quickly. Once I got there, I decided to purchase even more bottles because they actually had plenty available. When you order on the app they bring it out to the car. The young lady who first helped me when I walked in (I didn't catch her name) was very friendly and engaging. When I picked up my orders, Brianna assisted me and she was also very pleasant and helpful. D'Elman was helpful as well. This is a very large, well stocked store, but what makes shopping easier in a place this size is how knowledgeable and helpful the staff usually are throughout the store. I was able to purchase all the bottles I wanted without any issue. Unfortunately, my checkout experience kind of ruined the ending for me. After my bottles were boxed up, I placed them back into my cart and moved the cart slightly away from the register area while preparing to pay. The cashier, Leslie, then said, "you have to pay for those," in a way that felt very accusatory almost like she thought I was about to walk out with a cart full of liquor. Considering I had over 30 bottles sitting there in plain sight at checkout, I found the comment unnecessary and honestly a little offensive. That interaction definitely left a bad final impression because your last point of contact matters. Leslie could've approached that differently. Overall though, the store itself was excellent, very well stocked, and the majority of the staff were friendly and professional. I would absolutely drive back here again for the selection alone. I love how they have tasting stations throughout. The store was bright and clean. Great music too!
