I went to pump gas and they offered 20 cents off for car wash. I chose taxi car wash and when I pumped gas it was full price. When I spoke with attendant he was rude and said it doesn't apply. This review is just about the car wash. I had no trouble with the gas pump. I don't recall the exact words, but they are something like "spotless rinse" and "power dry" or similar. Well, just take a look at the picture. Really bad job cleaning, rinsing and drying the back of my car. For $10 I was expecting something better. read more

Trying to get a car wash. The guys that works there tells me to move up to start button. I did and enter the code but apparently I was suppose to know not to hit the start button till he got out. I didn't realize he was still inside. There was a safety that didn't let it turn on anyway. He was so mad that I hit the buttons and I should have known better. He said he would not help me. He said he wouldn't restarted the car wash and to get out and disputed it with my bank. He shouldn't be working in customer services at all. I paid for the car wash and it would not start up. I went inside to ask the attendant about it and he said I did it wrong and he'd be out to start it. When he came out he reiterated that it was my fault and said he'd turn it on after I gave him a smile. I informed him that I'm under no obligation to smile for him but seeing as he has my money he is obligated to either turn on the machine or refund me. He refused and walked back into the building. I was stuck in the car wash entry, unsure if it was safe for my tires to either drive forward or reverse. I had to call the police for assistance. They tried reasoning with the man but he still refused to either refund or provide service. The police said he is well known for bad business and bad behavior. They helped me maneuver out of the car wash. Sexual harassment is real. You don't owe anyone a smile. read more

I pulled in here recently because they were the first gas station you encounter leaving downtown boston / Cambridge heading into Somerville and much to my shock the 91 / premium gas was an ENTIRE DOLLAR more than the unleaded price. Normally 91 / premium gas is about 20-30 cents more than unleaded / 87 gas. Complete fraud and thief's. STAY FAR AWAY... they are selling premium gas for $3.37 when the next gas station (speedway) a minute away is selling it for $2.59. Beware!! read more

Terrible service here. I've run thru the car wash here multiple times before. For whatever reason the wash started and didn't move my car along. When I told the guy working that I needed another run through he was incredibly rude. No personable customer service skills whatsoever. Terrible customer service. Filled up on gas and bought an express car wash. For whatever reason when I went through the car wash nothing was working right. Didn't get a rinse. Didn't get much of any soap. The dryer stopped before my car even got there. Seems like the timing was off. I ended up with soap still all over my car when I exited. When I went inside to see if he could give me another code to go through again or give me my money back. He had me go back to the car wash where he then just rinse my car with a hose. $10 for him to hose my car down!! All he had to say afterwards was "Okay, you're good to go now". Car still wet. So now I have to go dry it myself. If I wanted to do that in the first place I would have gone to a proper car wash to begin with and saved $5. Never coming to his gas station again and sure as hell never using this car wash again. Beware! read more

I accidentally paid for my car wash twice. They wouldn't give me my money back. They said I could use my second car wash within two weeks. I won't need a car wash in two weeks. I don't see how not correcting this error isn't stealing. read more

This place is the bottom of the barrel. The attendant could not be less helpful. There is no sign about bike racks on a car until after you pay, and then it is at the bottom of the credit card box - the last thing you see - penned in, "no aftermarket bike racks". By then you are 10 cones deep into it, with people behind you. The rude little attendant ran out, made me back out (which I understood), but refused to give me either a refund or a ticket to use later after taking off the bike rack (already locked in the fold down position, but can be completely removed by simply removing a cotter pin through the hitch). He was rude, and apparently annoyed, especially after I suggested he could avoid this by putting up a sign BEFORE the cones and entrance to the car wash. Yes, I will stop the payment. In retrospect, I am glad to do that as it will bring them $ 16 closer to failing as a business. I also will be sure not to go back. Poor help usually reflects poor management, which is why businesses fail -- I look forward to this place changing hands yet again. read more

What really can I say about a gas station? It has the features one expects, gas pumps and a convenience store, as well as one atypical amenity: a car wash. By virtue of it being the only nearby Shell station, I visit this location with regularity. It's not one of the typically-cramped stations one finds around Boston, owing in part to its car wash. The convenience store is small but typical of what one should expect. Gas prices are reasonable for the area, but do run a cent or two higher since there is no direct competition. My only complaint is that it isn't easily accessible from the southbound side of Route 28 (Monsignor O'Brien Highway). One must either make a legal U-turn in front of the Lechmere T stop or an illegal U-turn at the intersection of Third Street and Route 28. Getting back onto the southbound side of Route 28 is equally as challenging, generally requiring one to head north and change directions at Washington Street. read more

I don't have too much energy to write this after what happened but I'll give it a shot. I filled up my tank ~$20, got a car wash $14, and walked in to get change for the vacuum. The attendant told me I needed to buy something to get change. I said I just bought gas and a car wash, is that not enough? Plus I have done this before. He told me he didn't have much change and needed it for the day and wasn't willing to give it to me. So I told him that's fine but it seems short sighted to potentially lose future business over something so minor. He responded "short sighted? How's this for short sighted, go f&@# yourself!" Total disaster when I went here for a fill and a carwash. The listed price for the car was was $7.99 but they charged me $9.99. When I went in to complain, the attendant refused to refund my $2. Beware. I just witnessed a petrol attendant being very threatening to a female customer, before telling her to "act like a lady" when she tried to stand up for herself. She did nothing wrong, yet the attendant even threatened to throw her money in her face. The prices are high and the staff are very aggressive especially to women and minorities, which is weird considering they seem like Middle Eastern men. read more

I experienced devastatingly poor customer service here. The car wash pay station was broken and didn't offer the various car wash options. When I tried to resolve the matter in person with the attendant, he told me I was lying and refused to give me his name. He was disrespectful, rude, and insulting. I got a car wash, but it was the full-featured one when I'd only wanted the basic, and I left feeling dirtier than when I'd arrived because of how I was treated.
