Just had the craziest experience tonight at this store. My 16 yr old had picked out 3 Nike items…read moreand went to the dressing room to quickly try on (she's wearing pull in shorts, loose cropped tank and slip on birks) a sweatshirt, baggy sweatpants and a tank top. Attendant came over and said "the manager said I can't let you in since it is 4 mins to close". I said it's 3 items and she can be quick. I asked to see the manager because I didn't really think a manager would do that. I turn around to another girl who greeted us with much aggression immediately and said the manager is coming but will say the same thing. I explained that she would be quick and we live out of town and really don't want to buy them if we can't try them on. She said "we'd rather you didn't buy them than try them on". I looked at my daughter who was in shock and asked her if she wanted to buy without trying since it was her money and she set them down. The girl proceeded to yell in a rude manner as we walked out. I will NEVER go back there. Scheel's will have my business from now on and I know that it truly doesn't matter to the employees at Dicks (this was clear as glass after tonight) but in case someone values even the basic in customer service, I'm sharing this review. I am still just shocked by all of this!!

I grew up not far from this city and enjoyed my time at the mall because it was so interactive and…read morelow times have changed sadly so things are different...but I can honestly say I don't understand how place can fall so low and become so beat up with no kind of maintenance happening or upgrades to ensure the mall can still thrive at its best. Sadly now it is a place that has no direction anymore and management is non existent that's for sure. I took up a part time job with the mall and the things I found out were no shocking but were at the same time. Bad financial choices over and over again from what I could gather from but at what point do you learn... apparently there old manager spent 8 grand on candy for an event and had to give all of it away. Like what are we doing really. Anyways don't expect the bathrooms to improve or anything because there is no budget or whoever makes the big decisions won't out the funding into it anymore but then why not be done all together right? Just had to share my insight and the hard truth. Hope to see the mall make strides foreword to improve but hopes are low.

I am usually a very private person, but this needs to be shared. Here is my post: I was having second thoughts of going again this year, (Easter Egg Hunt Event) because last year was a disaster! I mean, they did take our feedback which was nice, but still, a kid went missing, the cops were called, there were no eggs for mine and my friends kids. There was no separation of ages, NO ONE was watching the kids in the bouncy house, it was so unorganized, two of my girlfriend's kids got hurt. Kids knocking over other kids, It was horrible. I honestly had no idea who was running this shit show. All these factors weighed on my decision. HOWEVER, now I was told who the dj that will be there....For a business that says they are all about the La Crosse community and love our city, is picking a guy who has done nothing but vandilze and puke on our city. It's a disgrace, even outside the mall! So I really don't think we are attending and lot of other parents feel the same way. I like the latest and greatest stuff, what can I say. The best part is getting brand name clubs custom fitted. They take the time to let me hit balls in the simulator or take demos out on the course. Their store has what is by far the biggest selection of equipment and golf apparel I've seen anywhere. Better selection than the big sports stores, plus it's nice to deal with people who know what they're talking about. They've taken care of me with every purchase. Bought a putter a couple of years ago which had some cosmetic issues after about 3 months. Took it back and gave me a new one. Try to do that in 15 minutes on the Internet.
