My kids have been asking to go mini-golfing all week... but with the temps being in the high 90's, that sounded dreadful. After searching for other options inside, we had just about decided on bowling until I stumbled across Monster Mini Golf and I'm so glad I did. This place was SO rad! It's all decorated Halloween-like and the course is painted in glow in the dark colors highlighted by a black light. It's super creative and I love the concept! The course is interesting in that it is one continuous putting green, so I thought that might make things confusing, but it's pretty obvious and easy to follow once you get started. It wasn't overly crowded and was nice in cool (I even wish I'd brought a hoodie), which are huge pluses for me! My favorite part of all was the music that was playing. I found myself dancing like a fool (and embarrassing my kids -- score!) the entire time we were there. The pricing is reasonable and the customer service was really great, too! Usually big fans of Monster Golf. Sadly this visit was a huge disappointment. We had to talk to staff to please ask other parties to social distance, and while staff did ask other parties to do so, they would immediately go back to creeping up on our family without regard. And then the staff never asked them to leave as is stated on all the signs. They just let them continue so we had to leave. It would be nice if they were actually complying with what they post for Covid safety or had a staff actually watching and not relying on customers to have to report and staff doing nothing. Fun way to spend an evening! + Spent about an hour here overall going through the mini golf course. About $10 which is what mini golf costs at most places I think. The course itself is ok -- the course felt pretty similar throughout the whole thing with occasional holes you get to aim for (and miss). Still fun, tho! + They have some arcade games (limited) that look fun. They also have a VR set up but no one was using it. I think that was about $8 a game. - 25 minute wait on a Saturday night. When you first walk in this place looks like a lot of fun. Everything is black light effects and fun music. You pay about $10 a person to sign up for mini golf. They take your phone number and have you wait in the arcade area until it's time to play your game. This part is really just a scheme to get a few extra bucks out of you. After about 15 min we were texted and finally able to play. At first my family and I had a fair amount of fun. We played the first two holes and took pictures with the various decorations. But as we got further into the game we realized this establishments downfall. First a little girl played right through our hole. Not stopping even as my child was lining up for a shot and taking my little girls ball as she left. The father was busy texting and walked straight through our game as well despite being asked by myself to stop. Two holes later two more little boys played through our game again almost knocking our balls out of the way. Although the mom "tried" to stop the kid they apparently were the alphas in that family. I don't blame this business for the lack of parenting. But as we were having a worse and worse time and complaining about it, the male members of the staff were so busy watching the female staff members dance that they could care less about the rampant children running around the course. We were also struck by multiple balls from other while playing our game. All in all the course itself is on par with just about any mid to low grade mini-golf course. The decorations are a plus but the poor behaved chuck-e-cheese feel of this place makes it a miserable place to play with the family. At $30 for a game do yourself a favor, get off the freeway two exits earlier and play at Boondocks. read more

Booked a birthday party for my daughter without ever stepping foot in this place. Found it online and thought it looked cool so we took a chance. I am so happy we did! First off the staff is amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and accommodating in every way. Second of all the place is so cute and exactly what my daughter is into. The party rooms are super cute in a monster way! Had some family members at the party that are also going to be booking parties for their children in the near future. Our outdoor mini golf plans were dashed, so we found this place nearby via Groupon and gave it a try. It was busy, so we took a number and waiting about 15 minutes to enter the 'course.' We spent the time playing air hockey and arcade games. By the time we left, we'd earned a whopping 30 points, which we gave to the desk to give to some kids trying to spend their last few points on plastic balls and tattoos. The course is efficiently designed, with each hole fitting into the others like a game of Tetris. There's plenty of neon paint glowing in the black lights, and there are some animatronic features that are cool for the kids. The holes are not easy, but they don't have many interesting obstacles. It's just a lot of angles to navigate, like mini golf meets pool. But in the end it's mini golf, not an Olympic sport. It's a way to have fun with friends. Sometimes a staff member announces a silly challenge (turn your club upside-down for the next shot), which was fun and would certainly entertain the young ones. read more

Nothing spectacular just your typical fun indoor mini golf. The also have some arcade games which can be entertaining. It's just like playing mini golf inside a pinball machine. Which is super. It's a bit more expensive than I would like, and of course it's not just mini golf. They also have one of those "arcade" rooms where you win tickets for doing mundane things like spinning wheels and such, which the kids go nuts for, but it's always a rip-off. Saw this place while picking up a cake across the street and decided to check it out... The decor and ambiance is terrific! Not too scary and keeps you looking around. The con's: I was roasting... Do they have a/c?? Also be prepared for a headache because the music volume is catered to teenagers and the deaf... MAXED OUT! Also, they don't wait long enough in between groups. The group in front of us wasn't even finished with the 1st hole when we were told it was our turn. We also had a group of 6 (even though the rules say a max of 5) on our heels going before we were even done with that hole! My husband at one point told their Dad it had to stop or there would be issues, so annoying! People get control of your pre teens and teach them manners!! Staff walked by several times and saw this happening and did nothing. We will try & bring our kids here if were in the neighborhood and if its during the week just to see if we have a better experience. read more

Had a lot of fun with my 6 year old. It was loud, dark and a freaking awesome afternoon break from the heat. We will be coming back.

I wish this place opened a little earlier than noon on the weekends. Just personal preference. We've been here twice now, once with friends which was a few years ago and then again yesterday. Really great to see that the course isn't 100% the same as last time. Love the fact that the free game cards never expire. We'd bought a groupon the first time we came and had 2 free game cards leftover. We weren't sure if they would accept them because they were so old, but they did. The staff were great, really friendly. There was a kids party going on in one of the rooms off to the side and they started golfing shortly after us. A staff member was taking them around and trying to keep them under control (I do not envy your job but in 3 years time will probably dump my kid on you to take care of) We kind of got stuck between the kids behind us racing ahead and excitedly trying to move on through our game, and the people in front of us who were a bit slower. The staff were very sweet to apologise and give us two more free game cards. It's nice to know that the next time we come back we still won't have paid full price to play here! read more

If you enjoy playing mini golf, don't come here. The black lights and art is pretty cool, but the course is impossible and poorly designed. No real obstacles to speak of, but impossible angles that necessitate 3+ shots for even 'easy' holes. Each hole takes parties with even older kids/teens a very long time to get through, which creates bottlenecks through the entire course. Everything is very cramped together and you are literally playing on top of each other. Plus some or the teeing off spots are so tight that it is impossible to put - especially for lefties. The course is not fun and I cannot imagine taking a young child. They will be so frustrated they will never want to play mini golf again. I left two stars because the staff is actually super amazing and friendly. They deserve five stars but the course deserves zero. read more

$12+ for mini golf is already pretty expensive and pushes the definition of value. I lost faith when I saw that the "course" was outlined by painted wooden barriers on a flat carpeted ground. The weather was crappy so we decided on an indoor activity. This place came up on a deal site so we decided to check it out. It was a Saturday night and it was crowded. There was a wait to start playing. We decided to play a few rounds of air hockey to pass the time. There is also a small arcade area with video games and ticket games. You can trade your tickets for arcade prizes. The mini golf was ok. There was a group of annoying teens running amuck in the small space. The course itself is small and not spaced very well. You kind of feel like you don't have any space. The animated monster displays are pretty lame too. I guess I just don't see the value in Monster MIni Golf. $8 for an adult round is way too expensive. It would have been better if there weren't so many people on the course at one time or if the prices were cheaper. read more

Maybe a little more than 3 stars...maybe 3.5, because Monster Mini Golf is a little more than "A-OK" but doesn't elicit a big "Yay, I'm a fan!" from me either. I went on a Friday night because we really wanted to play mini golf, but being late February none of the big outdoor courses were open yet, so we figured we'd give this place a whirl. Normally it's $8/head for adults, but if you check in on Yelp using your app, you can get in for $6-so make sure to check in and get a little discount! The staff here seemed to be all high schoolers, but they were all super nice and professional. Surprisingly (and luckily), the place was not very busy at all for a Friday night-granted, we got there around 9 PM, so we maybe just missed the families with younger kids-there was one group of maybe 8 teenagers in front of us, but they moved pretty quickly and we never really waited. The course itself has some really fun, classic mini golf layouts like windwills and loops, while others are just takes on having to use angles and basic obstacles to get to the hole. The blacklight murals on the wall are really cool, and often amusing (my favorite was the skeleton at Redrocks), and the animatronics, while nothing amazing, are fun. The atmosphere overall is a good bit of fun, which I think is key in mini golf. Overall, I had a fun time here-nothing Earth shaking, but certainly worth a little excursion every now and then. read more

This is a fun place to spend an afternoon. I brought my three kids and friends here with a Living Social deal. (age ranges 8-12) I think it could be scary for sensitive little kids ages 8 and under. We had a blast, and got to take our time. They also have a small arcade with prizes. You get WAY more for your tickets than Chuck e Cheese so my kids were thrilled. We did one round of golf that lasted about an hour, and then hung out for about another hour. Hit Menchie's yogurt next door when you are done and you have happy kids (and parents!). Great way to spend either a super hot summer day, or a rainy day. We will be back. read more

I had my 5yo daughter's birthday party here. MUCH better than Chucky Cheese. The kids were never bored. It was a little rushed but they allowed us to pretty much do whatever we wanted with food and were exceptionally accommodating. It was for the kids and that's exactly what made it so successful. There was some confusion and miscommunication but all in all, it was a success. I think once they have a good process down (written), this place will really rock. I love his place, its awesome for people of all ages. The glow and the dark golfing makes it unique and fun. It took my husband and I about 40 minutes to finish the 16 holes. So definitely worth it. Don't get me wrong, my family and I had a very fun time in the beginning. We enjoyed the black lights and the challenging courses. That being said, I'm giving this place 2 stars due to the LACK of PARENTING and REGULATIONS for each hole. One family rushed through the holes so fast that they cut through our game while we were in the middle of hitting our balls. When we asked if we were in their way, the father never looked up from his phone and just ignored us. I told the mom they could just go ahead of us since they seem to be in a rush. Towards the middle of the 18 course game, a group of boys started playing in our game, once again while we were in the middle of hitting our balls. My husband actually had to block their golf balls with his foot and explain to them that it's RUDE to play in the middle of our game. The mom of that family told them to stay with their family a couple of times, but that was the extent of their parenting. The boys also hit my ankle with their golf ball, which was the second time that day I was hit. This place has potential but with kids running rampant thinking it's ok to cut through people's games, it ruins the fun. The staff also does zero floor regulations of the courses, which gives kids and families free range to be rude and rush through, not caring if they interrupt other people's games. It was a horrible experience. I went to the ticket claw machine and found that it was broken and out of order, the sliding glass door lock was broken allowing anyone to reach in and grab tickets. However the physical tickets did not count towards purchasing items it used a feature where the tickets went straight to the game card. Before I knew that the machine was broken I won the 500 ticket roll however it didn't count on my card. The manager approached me and accused me of breaking the machine and then nullified my card and all the tickets on it. I tried to use the tickets and ask what I could do but all the employees decided to ignore me. I managed to convince her to reset my card and let me go play the games again and I managed to get even more tickets.Then when I went to spend my tickets I was half way through purchasing my items when the employee switched and started checking out another customer who took so long that I decided to just leave . I don't recommend ever coming to this place. read more
